Maddie Brown

When I wake up, my arms automatically move around to see if I'm still tied up; But I'm not. I'm in a van again, surrounded by men with guns. A seatbelt is safely gripping around my body for 'protection'. I notice chase isn't here but Josh and Walker are in front of me.

"She's awake" Josh states

"Well done genius" I snap at him sarcastically, "Where are we going?" I ask while sitting up right

"School" Walker Answers me

I sit back and take in the information that has just been given to me. Somethings weird about this, why would I be going to school if I've been kidnapped? I look at Josh, trying to read him but he shows no emotion. I sit quietly; waiting for the van to stop moving.

When we finally stop, Chase opens the door. His lips are twitched up to a smirk as his eyes travel down my body and then back up to my eyes. Josh unbuckles my seatbelt and hurries to get me out of the van.

"We have 5 minutes to get to the back of the school" Chase reminds everyone

"They are going to kill you when they see the state she's in" Callum claims, leaning his body against the van

"Oh really? Well you'll be dead within the minute if you give your opinion again" Chase states in a harsh tone

Callum rolled his eyes and pushed his body off the van, walking towards the side of the school. Walker grabs 2 guns out of the back of the van and hands one of the guns to Josh, the 3 other men grab guns behind us but I focus on Chase. His eyes are focused on me as if I'm the last object in the store, his eyes travel from my lips to my eyes making me shiver.

Chase gives his orders and all the men leave, even Walker and Josh walk towards the back of the school. Chase grabs my right arm and starts dragging me towards the back of the school.

"Just let me go Chase" I plea, trying to wriggle out of his tight grip

"Stop trying Maddie" Chase demands

I push my foot hard onto Chase's foot, causing him to take in a sharp breath but not letting go of me. He stops and glares at me with a frown plastered across his face. He growls at me before pushing me forward with a gun to my back. I hold back my tears as the guns pushed deeper into my back, the pain growing more and more as I walk.

We stop right behind the school, far enough to go unseen. I see my brother and the gang waiting for us, all with guns at hand. Chase's gang are waiting with them, probably to make sure there's no funny business with whatever is really going on. I try to run over to my brother but Chase pulls me back into his tight grip.

"Not so fast" Chase whispers to me, making me internally scream

I look over to my brother for comfort but he looks as if he's ready to kill someone, I see Payton and Cole's eyes travel over my bruises and cuts plus the black eye I am now struggling to bare. My eyes wonder over to Zed who is staring at me with worry, a feel a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach.

Chase moves me forward; closer to the gang. I bit back my tears as a gun is pointed to my head. I look at Chase who has taken 1 step away from me, they might just kill me. Max tries to take a step forward but walker pushes him back, Walker turns to look at Chase and nods.

"Have you got what I want?" Chase questions

Zed and Max have this weird look between them before Liam places the bag in front of Josh. Callum checks the bag to make sure whatever they want is in there, Callum looks up at Chase and nods. The gun is removed from my head and I breath out loud.

"Now give us Maddie" Max demands

"I've changed my mind" Chase chuckles, "I might keep her for awhile" Chase continues as he pulls me back into his harmful grip.

"That wasn't part of the deal!" Max snaps

I watch as Max and his gang pull their guns out of the waist band of their trousers. They all point their guns at Chase's men, all looking deadly as hell. I realise the only way I can get out of Chase's grip is by weakening him. I raise my leg up and throw it back hard, kicking Chase's inner leg in the process.

"YOU WITCH" Chase gasps as he bends down to his leg

I take the opportunity to run to Max, dodging all of Chase's men in the turn. I grab hold of Max tighter than I have ever hugged him before. All the boys smile at me while Chase and his Gang raise their guns at our heads.

"I want the girl!" Chase demands, trying to stand up straight with his damaged leg

"You got what you want so leave!" Zack protests

I look over at Josh to see his face fall, his eyes look at me and then at Chase. He moves closer to Chase and whispers to him, changing the mood Chase was just in. Chase's face plasters a frown over it with anger merged into it.

"This is not over" Chase snaps as he signals for his men to follow behind him while he walks away

I walk Chase and his men leave, but Walker hasn't moved. He's staring at me like he's lost everything, I look at him with anger but mostly betrayal.

"Maddie, I'm sorry—"

"Leave Walker" I cut him off

"Can't you forgive—"

"LEAVE" I shout at him

Walker looks down with Shame, he slowly walks down the walkway and past the corner. I will never forget the look he gave me, the feeling of his sad, regretfully eyes staring back into mine.

"We won" Cole cheers

"Don't think this is a victory" Max snaps, "don't celebrate to quickly" He continues

"Cheer up, Max. We got Maddie back, that's a good thing" Payton states, he can't help but smile

I feel my body slowly swaying as my eyes start to blur, I knew I was going to faint from the lack of food and water but I didn't think it would be this fast. I look over at Zed who is surprising quiet and shake my head at him. His eyes grow wide and he runs to me. My legs loose control and my balance is becoming unstable, just as I begin to fall I'm caught in Zed's arms. My vision turns black and I'm asleep within seconds.
