taehyung and jimin have eaten their soup and after that they watched a movie, all cuddled up together.

right when the movie ends taehyung notices how tired jimin has become, struggling with keeping his eyes open.

"i should text jeongguk.", taehyung says and grabs his phone to send him a message.

"why?"

"it's already late and you're sleepy. you should rest."

"m'kay."

jeongguk texts taehyung back immediately saying that he'll be there in 5 minutes.

"you're not coming?", taehyung curiously asks as he wants to go inside but jeongguks just standing still, giving taehyung the keys of namjoon's car.

"i should go home. it's pretty late."

"but you can stay the night-"

"no, it's okay.", he says, reaching his hand out to tuck a strand of taehyung's hair behind his ear. he doesn't want to be a burden.

"okay.", taehyung says, struggling with not showing how sad he suddenly feels.

jeongguk leans in and taehyung knows that he's about to hug him. that's why he wraps his arms around jeongguk's neck as he feels how he wraps them around his waist.

they immediately inhale the other's smell.

"sleep well. text me if anythings wrong.", jeongguk says as they slowly pull back from the hug.

this isn't all though. taehyung softly cups jeongguk face and in the next moment he presses his lips on his. jeongguk wanted to kiss him anyway but taehyung was now the first one to do so.

it's a quick and soft kiss but it's full of emotions. as always.

"good night.", taehyung smiles at him before he finally walks to the door. he smiles at jeongguk for the last time and jeongguk waits for him to get inside, before he starts walking away.

taehyung can't stop smiling even when he's inside, taking off his jacket and shoes.

he walks to the livingroom, still having a smile on his face as he can't stop thinking about their earlier interactions.

he doesn't even notice how everyone's staring at him as he just sits down on the single sofa, not even noticing their stares from being so drowned up by his thoughts.

"someone's in a good mood i see.", yoongi says and taehyung finally looks at them, smiling even wider than before until it even turns into a giggle and he hides his face behind his hands.

namjoon smiles as he sees his little brother being so happy.

"so cute.", jin comments because taehyung's reaction to yoongi's words was more than adorable.

"are y'all dating now?", hoseok asks and taehyung's eyes grow wide.

"n-no, i-i don't know- n-no, i-i don't t-think so-"

"okay, you don't know yet.", yoongi says.

"maybe you should talk about it with him?", hoseok suggests.

"they'll figure it out guys just give them a little more time.", jin says and taehyung smiles at him.

"joon, is that ok for you?", hoseok asks and taehyung suddenly gets a little nervous. namjoon was always pretty supportive when it came to these two, but what if he was feeling
completely different inside?

"yeah, absolutely. as long as they're happy.", he says and he really means it. taehyung will have a boyfriend one day anyway, so it better be someone namjoon knows and trusts instead of a complete stranger.

taehyung just smiles at him, not saying a word.

"i should go to sleep.", taehyung says.

"yeah, we will go home now too.", jin says. they have school tomorrow after all and it's actually getting late now.

"okay. good night guys."

"good night tae."

he makes his way upstairs to his room and as soon as he closes the door, he starts giggling again. he changes into his pyjamas and lets himself fall on his bed, smiling as he's staring at the ceiling.

he thinks about everything. he thinks about jeongguk.

the way he touches him, the way he kisses his him and just the way he treats him. he loves it. no... he loves him. taehyung now is sure that he's in love with jeongguk and it makes him so happy. being in love is fun. right...?

after almost 20 minutes of being deep in his thoughts taehyung gets ripped out of them when he hears his phone. he quickly grabs it to see that he has a message from jeongguk.

gguk:
are you sleeping?

tae:
not yet
why?

gguk:
no reason
i just wanted to say that
you looked really cute today and...
yeah
good night

taehyung giggles.

he thought he looked like shit and the fact that jeongguk thinks he looked cute, gives him a little confidence.

tae:

taehyung's eyes grow wide

he remembers that jeongguk also called him that when they were in the school toilets, but then the situation was serious and taehyung couldn't really concentrate on it.

he smiles to himself and feels the butterflies again.

he puts his phone away and soon falls asleep.
