taehyung and jimin are having a school break right now and so does the rest of the school.

they're sitting in the cafeteria but can't concentrate on their food since their eyes are searching for jeongguk and the others.

"tae!", jimin says excitedly as jeongguk, namjoon, yoongi and hoseok enter the cafeteria. taehyung quickly starts eating and doesn't even dare to look up anymore.

"tae, they're coming oh my god.", he says and a few seconds later they sit down and guess who sits right next to taehyung? yeah. jeongguk.

"sorry guys, all tables are taken.", hoseok explains but taehyung shakes his head shyly. "it's ok, we don't mind. right chim?"

"huh?", jimin asks since he was busy with trying not to scream because of yoongi's outfit. he just looks so hot.

"o-oh.", he stutters. "yeah, of course."

"how was maths?", namjoon asks taehyung and he just shakes his head. "dad will kill me. i only get worse and worse."

"it'll get better when you work, don't worry.", namjoon says and taehyung nods but wonders where he should get the motivation for learning for maths from.

"isn't jeongguk really good at math?", yoongi asks and taehyung's heart already skips a beat.

"yeah.", jeongguk replies and taehyung doesn't even dare to look to the side to see jeongguk. "could you not help him?"

taehyung's eyes widen and his heart goes so fast. and when jeongguk agrees, taehyung's face turns into a deep red.

"if that's ok with him.", jeongguk asks and taehyung nods way too fast. "y-yeah, of c-course.", he stutters, again way too fast and jimin holds in his laugh.

taehyung finally looks to the side just to see that jeongguk was already looking at him. he blushes immediately, and turns away again.

"hey taehyung! heard that you're jackson's new bitch now, huh?"

everyone turns around to the voice to see that it's yugyeom with his annoying friends. they start laughing before they just go away.

taehyung's mouth is open and tears start to prickle in his eyes but he tells himself to get his shit together.

"what an asshole, who was that?", jeongguk asks and it sounds like he's mad.

"yugyeom.", jimin replies before putting his hand on taehyung's shoulder.

"are you ok? don't listen to them they're just-"

"i'm ok.", taehyung quickly smiles. "don't worry.", he ads and jimin smiles weakly but he knows that his best friend isn't ok and that it really hurt his feelings.

"i'll break their bones if they ever do that again.", namjoon says madly but hoseok calms him down.

"it's ok, guys, who cares about these idiots?", taehyung asks with a smile. "let's just eat."

"why is jin hyung not here?", taehyung changes the topic. "he's ill. i'll visit him after school. is that ok when you go home on your own?", namjoon asks taehyung because usually they would drive together with namjoon's car.

"yea-"

"i can drop him.", jeongguk says and taehyung almost spits out the strawberry milk he was drinking.

"really?", namjoon asks and jeongguk nods. "yeah, it's no problem." taehyung feels the warmth in his face again and he has to admit that he feels excited but he's also scared. what if there's an uncomfortable silence? what should he do then?

"cool, thank you.", namjoon says.

"how's the first day going?", hoseok asks jeongguk and he shrugs. "it's ok. definitely better than my old school."

"what was the problem at your old school?", taehyung asks curiously. "the teachers were shit.", jeongguk explains shortly and taehyung nods.

"well.. we have really nice teachers. mrs. lee, mr. yang, mr. jong, mrs. hwan, mrs. gwan, mr. seong- what?", taehyung stops and asks the others since everyone is looking at him.

he looks at jeongguk who's just smiling and the rest looks like they're trying to hold in their laughters. they actually just think that the way taehyung talked was cute, but taehyung gets mad now.

"why are you guys laughing at me?", he asks, but their facial expressions don't change but jimin finally calms him.

"you are just cute, that's all."

now taehyung blushes. "i-i just wanted to be nice.", he says. "yeah, thank you.", jeongguk says and taehyung just nods.

"taehyung!"

again everyone turns his head to see someone calling taehyung with a bright smile.

"bogumie hyung!", taehyung calls back and stands up just to hug him tightly.

"how are you? you look gorgeous."

"thank you hyung, i'm fine and you?"

"me too.", he says and looks at the others now.

"how are you guys- oh, who are you?", he asks when he sees jeongguk and notices that he has never seen him before.

"i'm jeongguk.", he simply introduces himself, not liking the other for some reason...

"i'm pleased to meet you.", he says and jeongguk just replies with "yeah, me too.", and forces himself to smile.

"i have to go now but tae.. i'll call you when i have the time to take you out. you better don't say no.", he says and before taehyung can answer, bogum says his goodbyes to everyone.

"did he just invite you to a date?", jimin asks and taehyung's eyes are wide since he's shocked himself. "i have no idea."

"he did. obviously.", jeongguk says and taehyung doesn't like the tone in which he speaks. it sounds like he's pissed. but taehyung is too stupid to ever even think about that jeongguk is maybe jealous. but luckily he has his best friend to notice things like that for him.

taehyung sat down again by now and starts eating his food again. "i didn't know you were that close?", namjoon asks and taehyung just shrugs.

"he's really nice."

"i don't like him.", yoongi says and taehyung frowns.

"why?"

"he seems so.. fake.", he says and hoseok agrees with him.

"you guys are mean."
