School day had passed swiftly. And it was time to get dress to meet Ryan, my ex-classmate.

My palms were feelings sweaty as Jennifer and I were almost reaching the restaurant.

"Don't worry Sarah. Everything's gonna be fine. Does Ashton know anything about this?" Jennifer asked.

"Yea. I'll tell him once we're done with this. I don't want him to figure that I've liked another guy." I replied.

"Good. Because it has been difficult to catch your lover - boy. We wouldn't want to catch him again." She explained.

"You're right. Ok, we're here." I sighed.

"Great. Ok. So just relax." She calmed me down.

I let out a heavy sigh. Here comes my doom..

As we stepped inside, I saw a familiar face.

Ryan.

Crap, should I say hi or just stay quiet?

Just then, Jennifer pushed me forward to sit in front of Ryan. Are you serious?

"Hey Sarah. We meet again." Ryan started speaking, breaking the silence.

"Hi. Yea. How have you been?" I questioned.

"As usual. You know all the baseball team." He explained.

Then, Jennifer cut in.

"Ryan, didn't you tell me that you'll be coming to my school?" She said.

"Yea. Sarah, well, the reason why I wanted you to come is to tell you that my parents have arranged me to go to your school. After all, it's near my neighbourhood." He answered.

"That's great, I guess. What class are you in?" I asked.

"Same class as us, Sarah." Jennifer helped Ryan to speak out.

"Well, that's cool because it'll be easier for us show you the school facilities." I explained.

"Wow. I guess you've changed a lot Sarah. You know.. after that whole thing..." Ryan mumbled, raising an eyebrow at me.

"Have I? Because I remembered I was like this before though..." I replied.

"Nah, what I meant is that you have changed into a better person, which makes me hard to believe." He explained.

"What whole thing, may I ask?" Jennifer cut in.

"Nothing important really, Jennifer. It was just some school stuff.." I mumbled.

"Are you sure?" Jennifer looked at me and Ryan.

"Did something happen between you two that you guys are keeping from me?" She winked at me.

"I would tell you everything, my dear best friend. There's nothing going on between me and him. So quit it out." I looked down at her.

"Is it true, Ryan?" She looked at him.

Ryan looked at me. To be honest, we two were looking at each other like a bunch of idiots, I may say. Because there was nothing happening between the both of us. Except for the fact that I liked him. But not now.

"Yea. Sarah's right. There's nothing happening between the both of us. Just some school projects we did and all.. Nothing important, honestly." He waved his hands.

"Alright then, why were you both staring at each other?" Jennifer asked back.

Wow, this girl has really big issues with asking questions after one another. I salute her.

"Uh... I gotta use the washroom." I quickly stood and headed to the bathroom.

Just as I got out, Ryan was standing against the wall.

"Ryan? What are you doing here?" I questioned.

"I just came here to tell you something important. About that day."

"Look, there's nothing between us anymore. Forget that. Because that was nothing." I turned away.

Before I could do that, he grabbed my hand.

"Sarah. Please. Let me make it up to you." He looked into my eyes.

How I missed that eyes when I was back in elementary school. Life would be great if nothing had gone wrong the other day.

"No, Ryan. You've got to stop this nonsense. It was true, I had a crush on you, but that didn't mean you could play with my feelings. You can't just kiss another girl just to make me jealous. Right?" I said.

"Ok, for that. I'm really sorry. I hope I could make it up to you. For everything. Just give me one more chance." He begged.

"I've told you it was over back then. After all, I have got another new crush now. And it doesn't involves you anymore. So, you can just go and fuck every single girl in school or even my school. But not me. Because I have no feelings for you anymore even if you have for me right now. As far as I'm concern, I will not forgive for what you had done that day in the party. Fucking around with my ex - best friends? Are you out of your mind?!" I growled.

"Look, I was drunk back then. And honestly speaking, your best friend did ask me to have sex with her. What was I suppose to do? Say No when I wasn't even a sober yet?" He explained.

"But that doesn't mean you can just fuck her. Not only her, even Kayla. You fucked her as well." I cried.

"Ok. But that was the last one I did. No more. Because I had thought about what you said the other day. When we were classmates. I have been thinking all day long. I would want to give both of us a chance. If you trust me." He said.

"No! No more chances. I have given you chances after chances, but you just wasted everything. And right now you're expecting me to give you another one? Show's over." I quickly shoved his hands away and ran towards Jennifer.
