- David's POV -

As I got out from the car and headed to class, I saw Sarah was with Jennifer. She looked lost and sad. Maybe it's best for me to give her some space and let her hang out with her best friend. She must have going through some hardship with her mom or brother.

Walking in the hallway, I saw Ashton, that bastard. But the weirdest thing going on is that his face looked pale and sad as if he just broken up with someone.

He better not come close to Sarah otherwise I'll rip his head off, I thought.

So, I entered to the homeroom and upon sitting next to Sarah's desk, there was a piece of tiny paper that was written with words. I respect Sarah's privacy all the time but I was curious what was written in the paper and who wrote it. Before Sarah enter the class, I quickly look at my surrounding, making sure that no one was looking at my side and I took the paper and hid it in my pocket. I'll read it when it's break time.

Just right after I grabbed the paper from Sarah's desk, she and her best friend entered the class.

That was close, I thought.

I waited until she settled on her seat to speak to her.

- Sarah's POV -

I looked at my mobile phone and saw it was almost time to head to class, so I told Jennifer to go into the class together. I was still thinking how to face David after everything I did bad to him. The guilt that I have whenever I see him.

Then, Jennifer squeezed my hand, like telling me to act normal in front of him. That was when I saw Ashton standing in front of his locker at the hallway. I wanted to slap him really bad and yell at him but I had done worse than he did. I was the one who was sober, not him. I walked pass him without saying a word to him or having a glance at him.

It's enough of trouble he has caused. As I entered the class, I saw David sitting just next to my desk, he was waiting for me cuz I haven't been answering his phone calls since last night.

Just smile at him and be normal Sarah.. Don't overreact, I thought.

When our eyes met, I smiled at him and said, "Hii David, sorry that I didn't answer your call this morning. I had to rush here to have a project discussion with Jennifer."

"It's okay babe. I just want to know that you're safe, that's all it matters." He said and placed his lips on my forehead.

The classes went really slow, I was about to explode inside. I couldn't pay attention to anything what my teacher said throughout the class session. I just wanna get out from this room.

As the bell rings, it was only break time. I stood up and waited for Jennifer. Then I faced David and asked, "Erm do wanna join us at the cafeteria?"

"I'm afraid I won't be able to join you guys because I have some assignments that I'm unsure and would like to proceed to the staffroom to reconfirm with Ms Dalpine. You guys go ahead." He smiled and kissed my lips and walked towards the staffroom.

Once he walked further, I breathe out heavily.

" Thank God. " I said to Jennifer.

The two of us were on our way to the cafeteria.

- David's POV -

Once I entered the boy's toilet, I took out the piece of paper that I took from Sarah's desk.

I opened and it read, "Sarah, please forgive me for what I did last night.. I was drunk and was not in my right mind. I swear I will protect you as a man and won't let anyone hurt you. I've been growing feelings for you since the day I saw you when I came to play with your brother. Megan means nothing to me and will never.

There is no other girl that I'm in love with. Please give me a chance to make things right for you. I know Sam will never approve the two of us but it won't hurt in trying. We never know. I know you love me too. Cuz if you don't, you wouldn't have let me enter inside you even when you were sober. You could have pushed me away but you didn't.

Forget about David. He isn't right for you. I'm the one who is right for you and will always be. You're the perfect girl that I want right now and til forever. These are my true feelings for you. Love, Ashton."

I couldn't believe what I just read.. Sarah and Ashton had... sex last night and she didn't tell me?? This isn't like Sarah. I know she loves me more than anything. She has always been loyal to me and would never done such a thing behind my back. But after reading through this paper, I had to think otherwise. I finally knew the truth. What am I going to do with Sarah?
