I watched as Jax pulled over on the corner street. I could see him looking around before he finally spotted me across the street and my heart clenched.

He drove all this way for me.

I smiled as we locked eyes and I saw the relief that washed over him as he was staring at me. I got off the ground and grabbed my bag.

I walked to the car with my head down, trying to gather my thoughts. I didn't know what I wanted to say to him.

Opening the door, I get in and put my bag down, ignoring Jax's intense stare.

"Why?" Jax speaks.

I was confused, I didn't know what he was intending to ask. I already knew the drive was going to be long. There was a lot we had to talk about.

"Why what?" I don't dare to look at him.

I knew he wanted to talk first before taking off.

"Why'd you come here? How did you even get here? Do you know how worried we all were?" He asks. "How worried I was?"

He had tackled me with so many questions at once. I had all the answers to them but I couldn't even speak.

"Earth to Emma? I'm talking to you." To say Jax was mad wasn't enough.

"I needed a distraction." I finally say.

Saying it out loud only made me realize how dumb I looked. It wasn't enough. I had taken time out of everyone's day and made them worry about me.

"Distraction from what?" He asks.

I shrug, not knowing how to answer him. I had all the answers in my head right before he got here and now I don't even know what to say.

"Do you not see how lucky you are, Emma?" Jax scoffs. "You have a dad who loves you and a brother who would destroy anyone who came in your path. You have me and you already know I would do anything for you."

"I know." I mumble.

"No, no you don't know because if you did you wouldn't have left today. So what if your father wasn't always home, mine left. You're lucky you still had him around. He wants to be in your life now. Appreciate that." He snapped.

"I know."

"Stop saying you know. You don't. It's not until it's too late that you'll see what you really have. I know your life has felt like shit without your mom but you can't stay stuck. You gotta keep going and don't take it all out on your father. He lost the love of his life."

I was a sobbing mess by the time Jax finished speaking. I knew everything he was saying was right. I was lucky I had my dad while he was left without one.

He had it so much harder than I did. He had to help his mom out and take care of Amanda. His dad had left him because it was his choice. His dad didn't want them anymore.

Jax grabbed my hand and held it tightly. I looked at him with my vision blurry from tears blocking my view.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry." He sighs.

"I kinda deserve it," I chuckle, wiping my eyes with my other hand. "You're right about all of it. I should be happy with what I have."

"You're so special, Emma." He utters.

"No, I'm not." I shake my head.

"You are to me." He leans forward and cups my cheek, wiping away any tears that had fallen. "You mean so much to me."

"Jax," I whisper.

"I know your brother said we couldn't be together but I can't help it. I want you." He says.

"Hunter isn't the only thing stopping us. I can handle Hunter. It's Rebecca. As long as you're with her we can't do anything. We can't be anything." I tell him.

"I'll break up with her." He says.

"No, you can't break up with her just because of me." I say.

"It's not just you. I don't love Rebecca, you know that."

I close my eyes, turning away from him. I didn't know what to do. This was my chance to be with Jax. He was going to break up with Rebecca and there was nothing standing in the way.

Looking back at him, I stare at his lips intensely. I missed the feeling of his lips on mine. I wanted to remember what they felt like on my lips.

Without a second thought I leaned in, closing my eyes as I see Jax following my lead.

We hadn't moved since he came for me and I knew we were gonna be a while.

Pressing our lips together, he runs his tongue against my lip asking for entrance. Our tongues dance along with each other as I moan with pleasure.

In a swift motion, Jax grabs my thigh and I begin to move from my seat. We part for what seemed like an eternity so that I sit up from my seat and cross over to him. Sitting on his lap, I hear him moan under his breath and immediately I press my lips against his.

He moved his lips down my neck leaving burning trails down my neck and jaw. I moved away, taking my hoodie off to reveal my plain black tank top and bare chest.

He nibbled on my shoulder, sucking on my neck as his hands gripped my body tightly. He pulled away from me staring at me dead in the eye. He had this hungry look in him, like he was ready to eat me.

He pecked my lips once before he continued to trail kisses down my neck. He wouldn't stop until he felt he had marked me his.

My head turned to the side, allowing him more access and I arched my back, feeling a sensation throughout my body.

I couldn't believe this was happening. I had envisioned moments like this so many times that nothing compared to this.

My hand tugged on his hair while my other hand slowly went down his waist and found its way down his pants. I felt him quiver under my touch and he found his way back up to my lips.

"Emma," He moaned, breathing loudly. "Wait."

I continue kissing him, this time my lips move down his neck sucking on his skin lightly.

"Emma," He calls out again. "Hold on."

My hand begins to move faster in his pants and he holds his breath, moving his hips around.

"Fuck," He whispers, leaning his head against the seat.

He pushes me away, and grabs my hand making me stop in my tracks. I pull away from him looking at his messy hair and swollen lips.

"What's wrong?" I question, looking at his worried expression.

"What are we going to tell your brother?" He says, his breath hitting my neck.

"Who says we have to tell him anything?"
