~ Recap ~

Just as I was about to shut my eyes I heard my phone ping indicating a new text message. I jumped up immediately looking at it and saw that it was an 'unknown number' that texted me but soon realized it was Enzo. I smiled while reading the message.

I fell asleep as soon as I read the last text with one thing on my mind. I KISSED FREAKING ENZO ROMANO! I can't wait to tell the girls. Soon after I fell into a peaceful slumber.

Today is Sunday and I'm still in bed, I feel so lazy today but my friends are on their way over so it doesn't matter. 

I smiled remembering what happened yesterday. I picked up my phone realizing I got an unread message. I clicked on it reading the messages.

I clicked out the message, put down my phone and got back to reading my book. This one is about an older guy who is a 35 year old billionaire and a girl who is a 21 year old millionaire, a strong female lead. 

At first I thought he was genuine but it turns out that he was playing her the whole time. I'm telling you, these men are bastards. However he ended up falling in love with her but she ended up leaving him— I'm telling you the man cried. 

She then left for three years only to come back with a man that's abusing her as her boyfriend, she wasn't the strong bad-ass woman who left though, this time her confidence and everything went down the drain because if her fiance. Long story short the older guy tried everything to help her and get her back and they got back together having a happily ever after. Hehe!

I'm not gonna lie though, older men for the win.

I heard my door open and I saw Ally and Jessie walking in smirking. They both jumped on my bed. I jumped on Ally tackling her as she screamed.

"You left me yesterday." I screamed hitting her while she blocked them and pushed me off of her onto the floor.

I hurriedly got up and jumped on her back but Jessie jumped on my back too making the three of us drop on each other.

"AHHHH." The three of us screamed at the same time as we dropped on the hard cold floor.

"Guys please don't tear my poor little house down." I heard mom screamed downstairs.

"Sorry mom." We said together and we looked at each other before giggling.

We got up and took a seat while Ally said "So what happened after I left yesterday?"

"Okay so after you left, we went to the coffee shop across the road to get to know each other better, th-" I got cut off by both of them squealing.

"So coffee date huh?" Ally said smirking and I rolled my eyes.

"It wasn't a date." I said wishing it was.

"Anyways, it was getting late and I told him that I had to go home, he asked for my number but then he took me home in his beautiful car, brought me food and we made out in his seat." I said in a whisper but they heard me because they started screaming.

"Oh my God. you guys made out?" Jessie jumped up looking surprised.

"Yes we kissed a lot and made out." I explained happily.

"He brought you food? Damn girl you scored a keeper." I smiled and nodded.

"Soooo, Ally what happened when you left with them?"

She blushed, her cheek painted red. "Nothing happened, we were just walking around and then I went home." She said, giving me a look to drop it.

"Oh I forget that I wanted us to check Enzo's net worth, because it's clear we don't even know how rich he really is." I said getting my old laptop that I had from 5 years ago.

"So, Enzo Romano." I typed as we sat down waiting for google results.

(Whatever I wrote mostly comes from a billionaire I know about and some came out of my imagination. Most of it is actually just stuff I make up okay? okay, so don't come at me). Back to the story!

My eyes were wide as a saucer. Omg! $198.4 Billion? 

Damn, he's rich rich.

"I didn't know he was that rich, especially at 25. Wow that's actually quite impressive." Jessie said shocked.

"I know, he's so humble, rich men like him don't act so calm and nice. It's weird." Ally said then continued. "Even Larry flaunts that he's a millionaire around me everytime and he's not even close to what Enzo has, but Enzo is the humble one clearly." Ally said shocked as well.

"When we were together I didn't even remember he was rich to be honest." I said truthfully.

"Let's check the rest of the group's net worth." Jessie said and I really didn't want to so I said just that.

"Nope, I'm not doing that. It's already bad that we did it with Enzo, if he hears about that he'll probably think I'm a gold digger looking at how much money he has. When you go home you can do it by yourself." I said sternly and she rolled her eyes.

"We sound like stalkers." Ally said and we all laughed. I heard mom calling us downstairs for some food and I locked down my laptop then headed downstairs with the girls.

We took our food then started eating in silence until Ally started talking.

"Now I understand why he didn't have any problem losing millions in the first place."

"Yeah that's true." I said.

"So Ally, do you like Larry?" I asked ans she smiled.

"Actually I do like him, he's handsome and all but he's a playboy and I'm sure he wouldn't be able to keep one girl." She said giving us a sad smile.

"Bri, you're the lucky one out of the three of us. You got the richest, the most handsome and the perfect one." Jessie suddenly said and I didn't like how she said that.

"He's not even mine." I said. Yet.

"So you don't have a problem if one of us try our luck with him then right?" She asked laughing but I didn't find it funny.

"Jessie what the freaking hell?" Ally suddenly whisper-yelled.

Jessie rolled her eyes saying she was joking but she looked serious to me though. I didn't bother saying anything.

"Hey Bri. we are leaving now." Ally said hugging me and Jessie didn't even hug me only saying bye which is okay.

"Be safe." I said shutting the door leaning on it wondering if I made a mistake searching Enzo's net worth. I mean Jessie is not that type to want her best friend's crush just because she found out he's very rich, right? 

I hope not, because I can't take another friend's betrayal.

I ended up texting Enzo the entire night, we got to know each other more and we talked as if we knew each other for years. I enjoyed my time with him. I really wanted to tell him I stalked him on google but I couldn't get it out.

Those butterflies came back as soon as I remembered a part of our conversation on the phone while we were talking.

"Baby can I ask you a question?" He asked over the phone.

"Of course Dari." I responded saying.

"Will you be my date at the gala next week Saturday night? I know I should have asked sooner but can you blame me, you make me nervous as hell." He said with a laugh.

"W-what? are you sure you don't want to take a model or someone else?" I asked him surprised and ignored the part he said about me making him nervous.

"No angel, I want to take the most beautiful woman in the world & that is why I'm asking her." He said and I could tell he was smirking on the other side.

"Dari stop it, you don't have to say that just to make me feel good." I said pouting,

"Baby you are indeed the most beautiful woman there is, you know I would never lie to you." He suddenly get serious.

"I know." I said sighing, so far he has never lied to me before, whether the truth will hurt me or not, he tells me as it is.

"You still haven't answered my question." He exclaimed.

"Yes I'll go with you." I laughed when he shouted out a 'yes'.

"I'll tell Larry and Jordon to bring your two friends so you don't feel weird there okay baby." He said excitingly.

"Thanks Dari but what about Zachary?" I asked remembering about him.

"Oh I forgot to tell you, that dickhead is dating my other sister for 2 years now so he's taking her." He said and I was surprised, I didn't expect that. "And before I forget, you're going to see my family there so be ready to meet them. Goodnight darling." He said quickly and hang up.

"What? N-" I heard the beep sound indicating that he hung up on me. That bastard! My bastard. Soon.

I smiled at that and went to sleep but my sleep was once again disturbed by that monster.
