Happy Birthday!

For you this seemed like it would just be a normal day... night.

Like usual you woke up after Yui and the brothers already left for school, leaving you alone in the house for all intents and purposes.

Or were you?

When you finished getting dressed for the day, you had long since given up on finding and wearing normal clothes, you found a note on the door.

-Imotō-chan, I'm sorry I didn't wake you but you just looked so cute! And you need plenty of rest, I wouldn't want you to fall ill. I'm sorry but once you've gotten dressed could you please go to the entry hall?

You sighed and followed instructions, you bet that it was because of Reiji and this was probably so you could receive 'punishment' for something you did. Last time that happened you had to clean the entire kitchen. . . It took a while.

You marched down the stairs, your adorable dress train trailing behind you. The dress you wore was fit a queen. . . A tiny one. It was in shades of gold with accents of pale pink, lace and ribbons decorated the bodice tastefully as rhinestones glittered on the skirt. At the bottom of the skirt was a ruffle, which in the back trailed along longer creating a train.

Maybe wearing a dress with a train wasn't the wisest idea given your housemates, and maybe wearing such a fancy dress wasn't a good plan since Subaru made you run laps everyday. But it was the only type of clothes you had. And you had a closet full.

The dress had tiny puffed shoulder sleeves and matching gloves of pastel pink. Frankly you kinda loved it, if only for the fact it made you look majestic.

When you reached the bottom of the stairs you found a note posted to the banister.

"Oh come on!" You ripped the note off.

-Go the garden Chīsana.

Short and written in irritation. You stomped your way to the garden, this was not funny. Scowling you swept outside and headed towards the roses, spotting something white on a pair of shears leaning against a bench. You growled at the note. 'How did Ayato get Yui to agree with this?' Once you picked up the note you saw that Ayato and Yui weren't the only ones involved.

 -Graveyard Ritorubaka.

You deadpanned. Graveyard. Right. Let's send the little girl to the cemetery in the middle of the night by herself. You nonetheless began trudging your way there.

You entered the cemetery with a shudder, remembering what last happened here, and just strolled between the tombstones. Coming to a halt in front of a tree.

Surprise surprise. Another note.

-Come back for a game Ningyō.

At this point you just facepalmed and made your way back to the mansion. Maybe this was your P.E. for today?

You stood in front of the big doors to see a lazily written note.

-Don't be troublesome Virtuoso.

Your eyebrow twitched. Really? That's it? No further instructions? You entered the building, closing the door behind you you found yet another piece of paper.

-Good job Omocha-chan! Why don't you go to practice piano~

"But I can already play piano!" You shouted, stomping back upstairs. Pushing the door open you sat down at the piano and face slammed it. Facepianoing, for when facedesking would be too quiet. You lifted your head and peeled the note off your face.

-Kusogaki head to the dining room. Immediately.

You could practically hear his disapproving tone. You opened the door to the dining room, expecting to find a note, and are engulfed by a hug and Yui chiming,

"Happy Birthday Imotō-chan!"

Oh right. It's the weekend.

You looked around the room to see all the brothers standing around, some of whom were smirking, some of whom were smiling like a psycho, and some of whom were sleeping. Kind of.

Ayato grinned at you. You took a step back.

"So how old are you now Chīsana? Six?"

"Hey!" You shouted in indignation.

"Imōto-chan is thirteen."

The room fell silent. Even you were surprised, thirteen? What are you a midget? Come on! You did go over to Ayato.

And punched him right in the leg.

Not like you hurt him.

Laughter filled the room, mocking your weakness, as you slid into a chair ready for cake. It is your birthday after all.

Smiling you were even blessed with a large beautiful cake set down in front of you, you blew out the candles, and made a wish. Loudly.

"I WISH I HAD SOME REAL CLOTHES!" The group stared at you, Yui glanced at your dress and broke out in giggles, scooping you into her arms and spinning around. After cake you moved on to presents,

From Yui you received a box of homemade candies. . . Of which you were able to eat one before Kanato snatched it away.

"Thank you Shisutā!" You cheered, the candy leaving stickiness around your mouth. Yui smiled at you as you received you next gift, you weren't really sure why the brothers were giving you gifts, it seemed pretty out of character. You however were not going to complain. You ripped open the wrapping to see a tape measurer.

What?

"There Chīsana." Ayato said. "Ore-sama has given you something you can mark your progress with."

"WHY DO YOU ALL KEEP PICKING ON THE FACT I'M SHORT?!?" You shouted at him.

You muttered to yourself as you unwrapped the present in front of you. It was a book of songs. You glanced between Shu and Laito, unsure of who had given it to you.

"At least now you can be usefully noisy." Shu muttered at you.

"Thank you Shu-sama!" You grinned at him.

"Tch." He disappeared. Well, at least you got your present already.

Next you got a book. It was a book of herbs and their various uses, so actually you were kinda happy with it. "Thank you Reiji-sama!"

"It is considered impolite to raise your voice indoors." He scolded, but there wasn't quite as much force behind it as usual. You grinned.

Kanato handed you a basket full of flower petals. "There Ningyō, Teddy thought that for right now you could be a living flower girl. Unless you changed your mind?" He smiled, tilted his head at you while clutching Teddy.

"Nope." You shuddered.

Laito have you and Yui bunny costumes. . . Yours was cute, sorta like a onesie, with ears and a tail added on. Yui's however. . . Was pretty much only ears and a tail. You and she both blushed brightly at the getup, which was the most color you'd ever seen on her face. She folded them both up and set them aside without a word.

"Thank you pervert-sama."

Laito smirked at Yui, you too, but mostly Yui.

The only one left was Subaru, he stepped forward and placed something on your head. You pulled it off and smiled.

It was a crown of roses.

The gift was extremely special in your eyes, you knew that Subaru loved those rose bushes, and you gently set the crown back on your head.

"Thank you so much Subaru-sama!" You smiled up at the vampire.

"Tch, shut up Baka Joō." He stalked off as your smile widened.

Idiot Queen.

You didn't really mind.
