I sat in the meeting room surrounded by my beta my gamma my delta and my pack warriors. We were discussing the rising problems with rogues. I had round the clock patrols since I left the meeting we had in Caine's territory. But lately I haven't been focused on my position as alpha not with my mate missing. But now having her back I can step up and take care of my pack properly.

' As we all know there has been an increase of rogue activity across many pack borders.' I said addressing my men. 'What have you been able to gather from your patrols?'

' Well they have seemed to combine and from what I would assume is a rogue pack. They have started to branch out and a small portion of the pack has been positioned around our borders.' My gamma (3rd in command) Danny stated.

'Yes and it's not just our borders their closing in on their also circling Caine's and Ashton's packs as well. At the moment we don't know why or what they want but from the size it is considered a high risk.' Mason informed me.

'It's unusual for rogues to group together. Most of them a rogues cause they don't want a pack life. But for them to have assembled into such a big group is worrisome.' I stated 'But im increasing patrols. Everyone is to be in pairs for better chances if attacked. And I want everyone in the pack to train women as well as men so they can protect themselves and the kids. I understand we train twice a week but I want training increased to four times a week. The increased protection on the boarder will be put in affect tonight.' I concluded excusing everyone.

'Luke!' I heard my name being called as I walk down the hallway heading to find my mate.

'Hmm' I said turning around to see Mason walking towards me.

' I understand that you want training four times a week but how are our pack warriors supposed to train them when they are on constant patrol?' He asked.

' That's a good point.' I said thinking about how to go about it so both are done.

' We have enough warriors to split. We have half do day patrols and then they can train the men at night. And the other half that will be doing night patrols can train the women during the day.' I said confident that it would work in our favor.

'Seems like a good idea.' He said in agreement. 'I find it weird that Toby had nothing to say he usually tries to kiss ass.' Mason said as he walked down the hall with me.

'Yea he usually does maybe his mind was elsewhere.' I shrugged at his observation. I was just trying to get back to my mate.

I just wanted to feel her skin against mine. Her sweet lips moving with mine. Her sweet scent filling my nose. The way she would feel wrapped around me moaning my name in pleasure. Just the thought about touching her stirred me and my wolf.

'Dude.' Mason groaned bringing me out of my thoughts.

'What?' I asked him confused at the disgusted look he was giving me.

'I know you're mates and all but she's still my little sister. I can smell the lust and sexual desire radiating off you. And I DON'T wanna think about you sleeping with my sister.' He shuddered as he said this.

' I'm sorry man but I can't help it she drives me crazy.' I laughed. 'It's going to happen eventually it's inevitable.'

He groaned as he walked away from me and practically ran down the stairs. Back to finding my sexy little mate.

'Sky.' I said seductively as I walked into our room. I saw her sitting on the window bench staring out into the yard watching the kids running around with a small smile on her face. It warmed my heart to see how lovingly she looked at the kids makes me wonder what it would be like when we had our own children.

'Hey.' She said putting her hands on my chest causing tingles to spread through every nerve in my body driving me crazy.

'Hey.' Smiling down at her wrapping my arms around her petite waist. I was so lost in thought I hadn't seen her move towards me.

There was this look of resolution in her eyes as she looked up at me and I wasn't sure what to think.

'What?' I asked her but she didn't respond. She just tilted her head stood on her tippy toes and gently kissed me.

For the first time I was at lost for words kissing her took away my breath.

'I'm sorry.' She whispered trying to step away from me. I felt a low growl come from me as I tightened my hold on her not letting her move.

'Luke.' Skylar said looking up at me.

'You can't just kiss me and walk away babe that's not fair.' I said my voice low and thick with the need for her.

'Luke.' She said quietly moving her body closer to mine. I was fighting my resolve the feel of her pressed that close to me was stirring something that I wasn't sure I could hold back much longer.

'Sky.' I ground out my voice strained from holding my wolf at bay.

She looked at me one last time fear, nervousness and love flashed through her eyes before she leaned in closer bringing my lips to hers. She kissed me with passion and need. I growled as I picked her up and tossed her on the bed relishing in the gasp she let out as she hit the bed. I stared down at her a war raging in me I knew if we continued I wouldn't be able to stop.

'Why did you stop.' She whimpered. She got on her knees and came over to me grabbing me and pulling me into her.

'Sky I can't if we keep going I won't be able to stop.' I let out a frustrated sigh.

She looked at me as she moved her hair revealing the place in her neck where I marked her. She never broke eye contact with me as she said ' I'm yours.'

And with that I lost the last ounce of resolve I had. She was mine.

I know that this isn't much of a chapter but I promise that the next one will be better and longer.
