CHAPTER 2

MASONS P.O.V

I woke up to Luke yelling for my sister. shit what did she do this time. Those two just don't quit their always pranking someone. But the pranks they do to each other are worse because of how competitive they are. I'm fine as long as it's not directed at me.

I just really hope they don't end up being mates. Because then they would turn on us, its bad enough they prank the pack every once in a while.

Well what ever she did he probably deserve it. He went to far on the last prank. He had Jason (a guy my sister liked) ask her out only to have him spill food in her hair and leave with the pack slut jade.

I mean really. That was just cruel.

A bang brings me out my thoughts.

'What the hell?'

' I'm coming, I'm coming.' I shout running to the door.

I open the door to see Toby our packs third in command. He's 5'8 with blonde hair, blue eyes, and he's 17 like me but completely serious and a jackass. I don't think I have ever seen that dude smile. Unless he's making someone look stupid in front of the alpha or that stupid smirk thing he does that makes him look like he just ate a lemon.

' Beta.' He says and already I'm irritated with him.

' Toby.' I copy him letting my beta voice slip through a little bit.

' Alpha Valentino wants you in his office Patino.' He smirks at me.

Again with the lemon face.

' Ok Greene I'll be down in 20.' I say before I shut my door and head to the bathroom.

I'm the beta because my father was killed in a rogue attack we had last year trying to protect me, skylar and my mom.

Since skylar is a year younger than me I became beta of the Blue Moon Pack . Our pack is the second strongest and biggest pack next to alpha Caines. Alpha Caine is like a brother to me and Luke, and our packs are really close since we all go to the same school. Well went seeing as its summer break.

I wonder why alpha Valentino wants to see me as I finish my shower.

I hop out the shower and go to my closet. I throw on my black basketball shorts and a blue t-shirt and head to the alphas office.

'Who is it?' I hear the alphas voice boom

' It's Mason alpha, Toby said you wanted to see me.' I say opening the door.

'Oh yes come in, and its Mark son alpha makes me sound old.' He laughed

' Ok so what did you want to see me for?' I ask.

'Right right well Lukes birthdays was a month ago and I gave him the alpha title. I just wanted to make sure you have everything in order for him to take over the businesses.' He said staring at me.

'Yes everything is prepared sir.' I stated.

' Good that'll be all...' He says ' oh and Mason I like what you've done with your hair it makes your eyes pop.' When he says that I stop in my tracks and turn.

'Excuse me alpha what are you talking about?' I ask nervously.

'Thw pink in it. It's a nice choice goes real well with your eye color.' I hear him say before I shut the door.

'SKYLAR!' I growl ' Oh sis your gonna pay.'

'oh yes she will.'  My wolf bryson snarls.
