I swallowed slowly, with my cell phone pressed to my ear. It was like ringing set off in my ears, and that that was all I could hear. Ringing. Light, flat, and dead ringing. Brianna's mother was an excpected killer. The first one to be exact.

"Yellow? Logan? Logan? Is everything okay over their son?"

A suspected killer. Of my mother. Was sitting in this house, breathing. Living. Plotting, possibly.

"Logan?"
I quickly snapped out of shock and took in a deep breath. "Hello? Yes Detective?"
"Is all well, son? You were quiet for a second,"
"Sorry, I out the phone on mute by accident. Can I call you back later?"
"Yes, of course. Take care of yourself, boy."
"Thanks." I clicked the hang up button, and placed my phone on the nightstand. I can't believe it. I leaned over the bed and threw my head into my palms. I sighed, and rubbed my eyes very hard, convinced that if I rubbed hard enough, all of this would just go away.

Just that second my thoughts were interrupted by Brianna coming out of her personal bathroom, wrapped in a beige towel. Her soaking honey blond hair was tied in a high pony tail. Her face was damp, and clear of all makeup. She sat her toiletries on her dresser and looked at me. She smiled. "It feels good to see you in my bed again." She smiled, and sat by me. She observed my expression, and touched my arm. "What's wrong?"
I shook my head. "Just thinking about my mom."
"Owh, Logan..." She took me into her cold and wet arms, and tucked her head on my chest. "Don't worry. They'll find her killer, and put her to peace. Whoever did this will pay. They're going to hell for sure."
I swallowed, as I slowly looked over Brianna with a rain of terror on my face. She had no idea...
I decided not to tell her anything of what I just heard. Not until I figure things out. Apart of figuring things out means taking things into your own hands. And that is what I plan on doing.

"Thanks, Brianna. I know," I agreed. I wasn't sure if those same words would be completed if the true killer is her mother.
She pulled away and began to get dressed in front of me. I looked away, as I knew that Brianna would turn me on in an instant without even trying, and I wasn't in the mood for having sex. I had too much to think about.
Just as I looked out her window into the night, the cars, and flashing lights, a light touch is placed upon my shoulder. A warm, spine chilling breath blew against my neck, right before the soft and sexy words of her voice said, "Why don't we get your mind off of all of this?" The touch turned into a rub, and the rub turned into a massage. A good massage. My eye lids began to become heavy, and my eyes rolled behind my back. That felt too good.

I rolled my head back slightly, and let out a sigh. "That feels..."
"Good?"
"Mhm." I couldn't open my eyes anymore. Her soft, hands, massaging my hard, tense shoulders was an amazing feeling. Imagining her doing it completely naked drove me crazy.

She got onto the bed behind me, and pressed her bare body against my neck. I took in a deep breathe, enough to blow a city away. Her light breathes continued to pick up against my breathe.
"Ah, that spot right there." I said suddenly once she rubbed the exact spot. That spot that was so tense, and when touched, felt so good.

Then she kissed me on my neck, and that's all it took. I swung around and placed my hands on Brianna's waist. I lifted her up, and tossed her on the bed. She was already undressed, which saved so much time. I slid down my pants and boxer briefs. Tomorrow is when I will begin. Tonight, I'll get my mind off of it.

I opened my eyes to the gleaming sun in my face, a beautiful blond under my wing, and a more clear mind. I sighed and reached over on the night stand for the time. I clicked unlock, and it read 9:32. I dropped my phone back on the night stand and observed my surroundings. I looked to my right, and Brianna was sound asleep, tucked under my chest. I didn't want to disturb her, so I carefully slipped my self from under her, and got up . All I had on were my boxer briefs.

"Ghost is coming over today..." Brianna's voice had said. I turned to see that she was already half awake.
I scratched my head. "Really? To talk more about this?"
"Yeah," She yawned deeply, and opened her eyes wide, as if the yawn was a refresher. I knew one thing: last night was a definitie refresher.

"Did Alexis ever come home?" Brianna asked me.
"No... She's with Lucas. She texted me around 2 this morning."
"Okay... I think it's better if she stays there."
"I do to." I agreed. I got up off the bed and went into my bags that sat on the floor next to the door. All of the sudden, foot steps sounded from across the threshold of the bedroom door. Slippers. I froze, and peaked through the small crack of the door. There she was. Elizabeth. She walked passed to go to the bathroom.

I squinted my eyes, and got up.

"Honey, breakfast is ready downstairs!" She called out from the bathroom.
"Ok, mom. Thanks!"
I gave out a sarcastic laugh. "Oh breakfast is ready, huh?" I said aloud. "I'm not getting poisoned, no sir!"
"Logan...?" I turned around and Brianna sat dumbfounded, yet with a slight smile on her face. "What the hell are you talking about?"
I shook my head. "Nothing, just a joke..." Or was it?
We got dressed and made our way downstairs. As we ate, I watched Elizabeth. the way she sharpened those knifes....the way she cut the sausages up into peices.

What would have lead her to do this to my mother?

Was she jelous of her?

Did she ever like her?

Did she ever like me?

I starred dazed, as the possibly killer fixed breakfast.  I decided to switch Brianna and my plates, just to be on the save side. If either of us were to suddenly become extremely sleepy, it was better off to be her.

Elizabeth made her way out into the living room to tidy up, while Brianna went into her room to get dressed for her cousin's visit. This gave me ample enough time to go into her small purse that she left on the counter and work my magic. I dug through the credit cards and insurance cards for anything that looked highly suspicious . Until I spotted something out of order. Tickets. Flight tickets. To Montana...

Where my grandparents lived. Booked for two days from now. I lifted an eyebrow. Brianna's mother never brunt up any trips to Montana. I took out my phone and quickly attempted to snap a picture of the ticket for any possible proof, but then footsteps began to hover over my back. I quickly stuffed the ticket back into the purse and reached over the counter as if I was reaching for a silver ware on the dish rack.

Behind me was Brianna, tugging at my shirt. "Come up stairs with me. I have to talk to you about something."
I nodded and followed her up the steps. I walked in and Brianna carefully closed the door, followed by a lock. I sat down as I Watched her pace back and forth.
"What's up?"  I asked.

"Ghost just texted me."
"What he say?"
"He said we need to get dressed. And also said he has news from a liable source that Buzz is coming. Today."
"Coming where?"
"I don't know. He hasn't text me back ye-"

Vrrrrrrrrr..... VRRRRRRRR...

Next to me , Brianna's phone vibrated and I immediately knew it could have been Ghost. I picked up her phone and unlocked it. The text said,

Call ME ASAP.

I immediately when through the menu and called Ghost up. It rung about three times, before he picked up.

"Yeah, hello," A scratchy and low voice said on the other line.
"Yo Ghost, what's up dude this is Logan." I rose up from the bed and started to pace along the room.
"Logan my man, nice to finally hear your voice, dog."
"Yeah, mutual brah." I had to keep down to business. "So you said their on their way?"
"Yeah brah, you and my cuzzo need to get dressed and meet us up real quick."
US ? Who's us ?
"Yeah definitely, Brianna's getting dressed now, I'm almost set," I turned and Brianna was laying on her bed, struggling to slip her jeans on. I didn't understand why, she didn't have much of a waist anyways. "How much time do we have?" I asked, focusing back on conversation.

"Not much, bro. Buzz never waists time. He's known for a lot of things, killing two birds with one stone, and also hunting down it's prey before it even has a chance to run away." I swallowed at his words, as if we were cold meet, and this Buzz guy was some predator. I knew as time progressed that this was serious. This was probably vital, and someone wasn't coming out of here alive.
"Okay, I got you. Do we need to bring protection?"
"We have a lot of that here, don't worry about that."
"Where's here exactly?"
"There is an abandoned warehouse here on U street."
"Where is that?"
"Brianna knows where it is," Ghost said, seeming to become muffled on the phone. He began to cough, and it sounded like he took in a wad of spit and spat onto the ground. "I'll introduce you all to the squad."
"Okay. We'll be on our way."
"Okay, sounds fine."
"Oh, and Ghost, I wanna thank you, Brah."
"No problem,"
"Really. Thanks for looking out. I don't know what I would do if-"

Click .

Brianna closed her phone and snatched it out my hand. "No time for that, we need to get going. Get dressed."
"Okay, okay."

Then I thought about Alexis. I picked up my phone and texted her,

Stay with Lucas until I tell you otherwise. Do not come here to Brianna's house by any standards. IF you need anything, ask Lucas. This is a vital order. I will explain later. Love you...
Logan .

I tucked the phone in my jeans pocket before putting them on. I looked around for my car keys nad picked them up of the window ledge. Brianna took her jacket, and went ahead to the truck. I put a shirt on and grabbed my duffel sports bag with my important belongings. I didn't want to take any chances.

We made our way to the warehouse, as I pointed Logan out the directions. "Make this turn right here," I directed as so.

He turned, and soon we were right here at the abandoned warehouse. We parked behind the building and knocked on the garage like doors. We waited, and no answer.
I texted Ghost that we were outside, and he replied,

KK. Here I come. We had to make sure you weren't the feds!
I waited and sooner than later, ther Ghost was, sliding the garage door up. He had a deep dark brough beared, light blue eyes that ran in the family, a beanie hat on, some camo sweat pants, and an Obey T-shirt.

"Cuzzo! What's up," He said, wrapping me into his arms, swaying me back and forth. I walked passed him and entered in, and recognized many faces.

Tatiana, Adriana, Latina, who were some Latina Bloods I met a few times. Then there was Ugochi, Nathanial, and Nia, who were some Southern African Bloods. Then I immediately recognized Vinny, Lindell, and Justin. Justin being my ex. The rest group of people I'd never met in my life.

"Brianna bebe!" Tatianna smiled as she made her wa towards me in high heel stilettos. She wore sexy gartereed pants with suspenders. She must have been 23 or so now. She gaveme a hug, followed by  her sisters Latina and Adriana. This is what I loved about them all. They treated me purely like family. Ugochi, a tall thin and beautiful African teen close to my age came to my side and hugged me. "I am so glad to see that you are safe." Adrianna nodded in agreement. "If anyone would have placed their hands on you,"
"We'll finish them." Latina said.

While Ghost conversed with Logan and got him up-to-date to what was going on, I caught up with my older friends. Justin watched me from a distance, with his hands tucked into his pocket, and his back leaning against some crates. He had Vinny, a Italian, whisper in his ear, obvious about me. I grinned and placed my hair behind my ear. Justin was those type of Tumblr guys. He had the entire package,

Beautiful dark brown hair, Skater boy swag, perfect face, a eyebrow piercing, and an amazing smile. He was perfect - but as I looked back, I realized that wasn't what I wanted. I didn't want perfection. So I ended i with him.

He made his way to me, and smiled. "What's up."
"Hey!" I leaned in and gave him a hug.
"So you've got your self in a sticky situation?" From my assumption, he knew about the whole Logan situation . He held an un-escaping devious grin on his face the entire time. More like a crooked grin.

"Yes." I sighed. A few strangers walked up to a group of us, but this time they looked more savage. They looked like they were the ones that caused actual damage. The tattoos, the rock hard buff arms, and hardcore looks on their face. Some of them were Latino, the other's were Black. It felt so good, to have so much support - to have an army built up in my favor. All for me. It felt god to have those for my back regardless.

"Don't worry, Brianna. We'll handle them. They dont stand a chance. Not against us, that is."

I nodded. "Hell yeah. I'm gonna partake of this action, right?"
Justin's face grew into a cloud of confusion. "You want to fight?"
"Yes, of course. What else would I do-"

Just that second, Ghost stepped out from the cut with Logan. "Okay, look here!" Ghost yeleld over everyone. "We have an interesting plan here."

I turned. I couldn't wait to hear this.
