Lizzy

Two weeks later...

"You messed with the wrong bitch! Better yet, I'm about to show you the baddest bitch ever. You know who my daddy is! You think he's something, you ain't seen what I'm about to do to you!"

"Lizzy! No! Please!"

"Oh now you want to beg?"

"Lizzy! What...would Sean think...if you..."

"What? Kill you? He would be overjoyed."

"You can't! You took an...oath."

"I did and..."

"You...can't do this!"

"Bitch, shut the fuck up. You're giving me a headache!"

She was begging me to stop.

"I'm about to beat you like you stole something bitch. Yo momma should have showed you right from wrong but since she didn't I'm about to show you."

There was a crackle in the air as I brought the belt down and it slapped her in the face. Something inside of me wouldn't let me stop. My arm went up and down as a thunderous noise sliced the air above me. It wasn't like anything I had ever heard before. All the pinned up anger took over me until it was gone. Blood on my hands, my face, my clothes, it was everywhere. My hands shook as I looked at the lifeless body.

"Here, I got you." Strong arms came around me as I cried.

"Did I kill her?"

"No, but she will feel the pain. I'll take care of everything. Here, let me get you cleaned up."

Sam lifted me in his arms and took me away. Darkness swallowed us as he carried me through the iridescent hallways. With my eyes closed, pieces of the past moments flashed behind my lids. Sam laid me down in a comfortable bed of softness that engulfed me.  I opened my eyes to see him walking into an adjacent room and I could hear water running. He walked back in and wiped my face. The warm water felt good. Slowly but surely my body began to come back to a sense of semi normalcy. Looking straight ahead, the reflection in the mirror gave me pause.

Words couldn't explain what was transpiring within me as out of nowhere, I smiled and then a loud boisterous laugh began to shake through my body.

"Elizabeth?"

I continued to laugh. This laugh went through my whole body giving me life!

Sam looked at me confused.

"She won't mess with me again or anybody else ...will see?"

"No." His top lip curled.

"Good!" The moment I said it I felt exhausted.

My phone buzzed waking me up from my dream. I didn't realize that I had fallen asleep. I slowly opened my eyes to see my last suitcase still opened. My phone rang again so I quickly glanced to see a 800 number. Damn telemarketers!

It had been two weeks and my body was still a little stiffed. Turned out my ribs were bruised and I needed a splint for my finger. The scratches on my face were pretty much healed up and my concussion was finally cleared a few days ago. My black eye was finally just a memory but I still had some lingering bruises on my side. Thank goodness for hyperbaric chambers, otherwise I would have still been laid up. I wasn't a hundred percent but I was good. When Sam called Sean and told him I was in a car accident, it took me three hours to convince him not to come. I didn't want to lie to him but it was best for now. I'm so grateful for Alanna's mom finding someone to take my place at the hospital since I was in no condition to work a shift.

As I raised up, there was a knock on the door.

"Come in."

"How was your nap?"

"I didn't realize that I had fallen asleep."

"Sam sent me up to see if you were ready to go."

"Yep."

"I'm going to miss you so much Lizzy. These couple of weeks reminded me so much when you had the flu. I would sit by your bedside and watch you; thanking God that he had given you to me."

She was starting to tear up.

"I will miss you too mom." I stood up and gave her a hug.

"I just want you to know you will always be my perfect angel. In my heart you will always be my daughter. I might not have given birth to you but that doesn't mean I don't love you any less. My sweet baby," she whispered in my ear.

"I know. I love you too." Flashbacks of all the happy days from her teaching me to ride a bike, the day I won my first swimming medal to graduation to all the teachable moments when her wisdom helped me to become the woman I was today, I could never hate her because I loved her so much.

"Elizabeth are you ready? Oh sorry didn't know..."

"That's okay Sam. I was just saying goodbye."

"Bye mom, I'll call you when I touch down. I just have a few more things to pack and change my shirt." Sam escorted her out the room while I changed clothes and finished packing up. I scooped my hair back in a slick ponytail and grabbed my bag closing the door.

A few days ago, Sean and I decided to keep my place here in New Orleans. As a matter of fact, later on this summer we're planning to start remodeling. We figured it would be a nice Mardi Gras hangout pad and invite friends to join us for the party of all parties. Coming down the stairs, the moving guys were packing up the last of the boxes that would be going to my new place.

"Are these the last two suitcases?" Sam asked.

"Yeah, that should be it."

Sam grabbed the suitcases. "Let's go."

Sam rolled the suitcases to his BMW M850i and opened the car door for me. Aaron was sitting in the drivers side.

"Your other three suitcases are in the trunk dear."

"Aren't you coming with me?"

"I have some business to attend here but I will see you on Sunday at Sean's game."

"Okay and you're staying with us. Are we in agreement?"

He laughed. "I wouldn't stay anywhere else sweetheart."

As he put my last bag in the trunk, I took a deep breath. The moment he closed the trunk I gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you for everything."

"What are dad's for?" He chuckled.

The moment he lifted me up and carried me through those titanium doors back in Vegas, he wasn't just my dad, he became my doctor, friend, and confidant. He stayed by my side for days, nursing me back to health and for that I would be forever grateful.

"I love you, dad."

He smiled and just for a moment I saw something in his eyes that warmed my heart. He didn't have to say it back because I knew he loved me too.

He cleared his throat. "I love you too. See you soon."

It didn't take long for us to arrive at the Lakefront Airport. If you were the shit in New Orleans either you housed your plane here or rented one as you didn't have time to go through the Louis Armstrong International Airport. Planes of all sizes were lined up waiting to take off. I even saw the New Orleans Gold and Pelicans team planes on the opposite side of me. Aaron pulled up to a mid-sized Boeing 747.

"We've arrived," Aaron said parking the car. He got out and opened my door. Two airport employees walked towards us and took my bags. I followed Aaron and he led me to the steps of the plane. A woman with silky black hair stood there in a maroon and gray fitted uniform. She smiled and greeted me.

"Hello I'm Olivia, I'll be your flight attendant. If you need anything Dr. Gibson please let me know." She smiled and I followed her on the plane.

The luxurious plane was a little smaller than the one we took to Vegas but it was still comfy and more than what I expected. I can see why people opted for this. No crying babies, nobody coughing on you and just the peace and serenity was enough for me.

"If you would like to nap, there is a bedroom in the back."

"Oh no I'm good."

"If you need anything, you can press the call button above your head."

"Thank you."

I glanced through magazines and player files  and before long, I had fallen asleep.

When we were about an hour away from landing, Olivia walked in the cabin.

"Dr. Gibson I have something for you from your father and your husband."

I sat my laptop down and followed her to the back of the plane and on the bed were nicely wrapped boxes, a garment bag and a brown shopping bag. On top of the garment bag was a card.

"The garment bag and the boxes to the left are from your husband and the rest are from your father. If you need anything else please let me know." Olivia closed the door as I walked over to the bed. I picked up the card and opened it.

Can't wait to see you babe, two weeks is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too long,

Love,
Your White Chocolate Stallion
P.S - He's been really lonely without his Queen

I laughed. Only Sean crazy ass would write that. I had to admit, I had missed him like crazy.

I opened up the box from him. Sure enough, Sean was planning my homecoming better yet maybe his. Inside was a black lacy thong with SG in crystals embroidered on the side. I had to giggle. The next box contained several Tiffany blue boxes. By the time I unwrapped each box, I had a pair of diamond loop earrings along with the matching necklace, and bangles all in velvet boxes with the signature Tiffany & Co logo. Diamonds truly are a girl's best friend. I opened the rest of my gifts in true Cher Horowitz (character from the original movie Clueless).

I admit, I did a Mariah Carey outfit change on the plane. Stepping off the luxurious plane (the only way to travel, LOL) I walked down the flight of stairs in true diva fashion. Wearing Gucci sunshades, with a black crocodile Himalayan Birken handbag by my
side (both courtesy of my dad), and my Caroline Herrera fitted red and black dress with Gucci open toe crisscross sandals and my new jewelry collection from the hubby, I felt like a million bucks, better yet two. I had to admit Sean and Sam both have great taste in fashion.

I might have paused for a moment and did an Ariana Grande ponytail hair toss as I took my first step off the plane. Okay, okay I was doing the most but hey you only live once, right?

Waiting for me as I took my last step stood my Tall White Stallion with a bouquet of flowers. He was wearing some sexy blue jeans, a baby blue Polo and jazzy white tennis shoes. I wondered if he smelled as good as he looked.

"Welcome home baby." He leaned in and gave me the best welcome home kiss ever. I wrapped my arms around his neck and fully melted into his arms. The passionate kiss damn near had me floating away. Even if I wanted to pull back, I don't think the jaws of life could had pried us away. He finally pulled back and somehow my body missed his warmth.

"I should leave more often."

"I be damned! I'm going to chain you to the house and never let you go."

"That's called kidnapping Sean."

"I call it protection."

"No, it's called crazy." We both laughed. "I'm glad to be back in your arms."

"How are you feeling?"

"Even better since we're back together."

"You look as beautiful as ever."

"You so sweet."

He brushed my hair from my face. "I got really scared when Sam called and told me about the accident."

"I ran a stop sign and lost control. Good thing my car ended in a ditch and not hitting someone."

"But you're a good driver so it just surprised me that you would be in an accident. You're a safety fanatic and you drive by the book."

"I wasn't paying attention. I was too busy trying to eat my Wingstop wings. You know how good they are."

"They are but..."

"Hey let's not talk about it. My car is getting fixed, nobody got killed and I'm standing here with you. I've been gone and now I want to go home, get buck-ass naked and play with my white stallion." I winked my eye.

"Okay, but you need to be more careful."

"I will."

The baggage guy followed us through the lobby and to the front of the airport.

"Wait here Lizzy. I got a surprise for you."

"Oh really?"

"Stand right...about...here." He took something out of his pocket and the next thing I knew darkness was around me.

"Can you see?"

"Like no. Hello." I waved my hand. He kissed me on the cheek leaving me standing by the curb. I could hear the sound of an engine coming towards me with with Jesse Powell's, You, playing as I heard the car door open. That was my jam back in the day.

The way you say my name and smile (Baby, you)
The way you move me, the way you soothe me
The way you speak softly through the night (Baby, you)
Every morning you rise and open your eyes
I just wanna be there with you baby
I just wanna be yours, from this day forth.

When the blindfold was removed my eyes were still closed as I continued to sing the song.

"You can open your eyes now."

"Wait, this is my favorite part... Every morning you rise and open your eyes, I just wanna be there with you baby, I just wanna be yours, from this day forthhhhhhhhhhhhhh."

"Keep your day job," he snickered.

I opened my eyes and nearly shitted on myself. "What the fu...."

"Hey, watch your language Willis."

"Hold up, why is there a bow on top of it?"

"Welcome home."

I dropped my purse and ran straight to the driver's side.

"Shut the door, oh yes!" I rubbed my hands up and down the smooth leather and gripped the stirring wheel. "Wait... is this mine?"

He laughed. "All yours. I thought you would need transportation as we will have different schedules. Plus, what kind of husband would I be if my wife was peddling a bike to work? Technically you're carless remember?" He chuckled getting in through the front passenger side.

"Not funny, damn it!" I punched him on the arm. I was sitting in my very own Maserati GranTurismo MC. This car was the shizzel my nizzle with a dark grayish-black exterior with a butterscotch smooth interior. It is the ultimate driving machine of sophistication.

"So I'm assuming you like it?"

"Duh, hello...you damn right. I absolutely love it. Thank you baby." I leaned over and planted a big, wet, tongue twirling kiss that left us both breathless.

"After that kiss, I can't wait to get you home so you can ravage me with that sexy tongue of yours."

I chuckled. "Mama bout to show you what she's working with." His eyes turn dark and he sucked in his bottom lip.

"I'll take you right here," he said in a deep animalistic tone.

I could hear the trunk closing as the valet put my last suitcase in.

"Unfortunately we have company." I nodded my head at the teenage boy that was walking up to the window.

"He saved you darling." Sean got out, took a picture with the young guy and tipped him. The dude smiled from ear to ear, shook Sean's hand and walked back inside the terminal.

Sean got back in the car.

"Awe, I bet you made his day."

"Hopefully. Enough about him. I'm so ready to get up inside of you I can't fucking see straight." He cupped his jeans. Oh yeah, Big Poppa was ready to bust out the moment that zipper came down.

"My poor baby." I put my blinker on and drove off. Sean was quiet probably thinking about what he was going to do to me when we got home. About twenty minutes later the GPS announced unverified area. I saw a gravel road, turned and pulled over a few feet away.

"Why did you pull over? Is something wrong with the car?"

"No, everything is just fine."

He sat up and looked around. There was a little lake as I drove up and trees around us.

"What's up Lizzy?"

"You'll see." I got out and popped the trunk, grabbing a blanket out my bag and walked over to his side and opened his door.

"What are you doing Liz?"

I stretched out my arm. "Here, hold my hand." He took it looking confused. Once we made it to the creek, I undressed.

"Lizzy I don't know about this?"

"It's called Cold Creek, well that is what it said on the map. It flows into the San Gabriel River. If we drown they can find our bodies there."

"Not funny Lizzy."

"Well you can watch me swim, in the nude, and do other things to myself." I winked and he tilted his head like a little puppy. The moment my bra and panties were discarded I jumped in. Maybe I should have checked the temperature before I jumped my ass in because it was freezing.

"Has hyperthermia set in yet?"

"It's not...colddd."

Sean laughed and sat on the blanket watching me.

"Youuuu....do...n't.... awannna come in?"

"That would be a hell no! Oh by the way, I know we have a lot of snakes in the creeks and lakes around here."

That's all he had to say to get my black ass out. I quickly got out and he wrapped the blanket around me.

"You know I was really trying to be spontaneous here and you really burst my bubble."

"I'm sorry baby. Maybe next time."

"Argh!! This is so not how I expected this to go! Damn Cosmopolitan, this is why I read medical journals and not bs on how to please your man."

He laughed. "I'm sorry." He kissed me on the neck, then my shoulder. "I feel bad now."

"You should, I was thinking about all the ways we could have made waves in the water. You and me in this big creek with no one around. Just the two of us being nasty and freaky."

"Who said it had to be in the water?"

The blanket fell down to the ground and the next thing I knew, my fingers were digging into the dirt, my eyes were rolling back in my head, I was stuttering and my ass was being handed over as he partaked in the feast laid before him.

He didn't say a word as his actions spoke volumes. No pain resonated in my joints or finger, the only thing I wanted was to make him happy. I laid there as my body responded to every touch, shit every command that was given. How did my spontaneous take charge love fest turn into this ultimate game changer? How dare the seducer turn into the seducee? Damn him! I could feel it in my bones that we weren't leaving until he had his full.

I could no longer hear the birds in sky, or the whispers of the trees, as we were so entranced into one another that nothing else mattered. Even if I walked away with scratches and nicks, it would be worth it because I could never love another the way I loved him. Being in his embraced meant everything to me. Why did I wait so long to be with him? This happiness could have been mine long ago. The rupture of pent up emotions floated out from my subconsciousness spilling down below. He touched my cheek.

"I love you sooo much. Just remember that."

"I know. I love you too." We embraced.

"We better get home, it's getting late," he said raising up and putting on his jeans. He reached out and I held on to his hand. Pulling me into him, he gave me a sweet kiss. We quickly dressed.

"Let's roll so we can finish up at home," he winked, I smiled and we raced to car.
