Marz's POV

        It's been a week since I woke up. The doctors said that I would be able to leave in a few days. Ryder has stayed by my side since. He leaves the room sometimes to make calls though. He leaves to take showers at home but, Elijah brings him clothes and takes his other clothes home to wash.

I swear does this boy not go to school. Teachers have been emailing me tests and homework since they think I'm in Spain. I called Bailey off of Elijah's phone saying that I broke my phone so I couldn't take pictures. I told her that I was calling off my dad's phone. I told her that I would be back in a week. After 10 minutes of talking to her, I told her that I had to go. Ryder told me that I was going to stay at his place until I recovered. I didn't mind because I knew if I went back home that I would not survive.

Ryder asked me what happened and I told him that I couldn't tell him. He was angry but he didn't push anything. He seemed stressed so I patted in between my lap and he smirked. "I didn't know you wanted me to do that this soon." I whacked him on the back of the head. "I meant to lay down." He does as I say and I start playing with his hair.

He tenses up at first but relaxes after he realizes what I'm doing. I stop for a few seconds and he grabs my hands and puts it right back in his hair. I chuckle and soon he falls asleep. I am watching him sleep when Vanessa walks in. I put a finger to my lips signaling her to be quiet. "Ya wanna go on a walk. I'm on a break. I'll sneak ya some fries." she whispers. I nod and smile.

I get up and put the blanket over Ryder and write a note just in case he woke up saying that I was on the rooftop if he needed me. I walk around on the roof with Vanessa and we sit on a bench. I start eating my fries.

"So who's this boy that won't leave your side?" she says lightly nudging me. "His name is Ryder and I don't know what we are. He hasn't asked me out but, he acts as if we are dating. It's weird but I don't mind." "Really? This dude must really like you since he's letting you stay at his place." She smiles. "Yeah, I guess. I really like him." Vanessa looks at her watch and says " I should probably go back now I have a shift in 3 minutes."

Vanessa walks me back to my room and I see Ryder still sleeping. I throw away the note and I lay down next to him. He turns in his sleep and puts his arm around me. I soon fall asleep.

I wake up and see that our fingers have to intertwine together and that he is awake. I look and see that I ended up closer to him. I see Blake and Elijah standing there and  I instantly get embarrassed. I let go of Ryder's hand and slip it out. I turn and face Ryder's chest so that the boys could not see my embarrassment. Ryder looks down and sees me. I could tell that he was smiling.

        I can hear the boys leaving and Ryder kisses the top of my head. He wraps his arms around me and I feel safe. Sleep soon takes over and I am unable to stay awake.
