XANDER POV

I drove and parked the car in front of the house. My brothers and Emma's release was finally lift off and the four of them would be going home this afternoon.

My phone lit up in a red color, indicating for a call. I grabbed the phone in the car desk and answered.

"What is it Hans?"

"Good morning Alpha Xander!"

"It's afternoon."

"Weird. It's morning here Alpha."

"Good for you." I bluntly retorted. Hans was chuckling on the other side, I remained placid. He was one of the great assets of the Royal Moon pack as long as he doesn't screw up. "Report." I ordered, venomous as I sounded.

"Easy, easy Alpha. Geez, your scaring me and so early in the morning. " He wailed like a dumb ass. His carefree attitude was never gone. I growled making him changed his pace and attitude in an instant, "Sorry-sorry Alpha. Oh yeah, I noticed something weird this morning. I was hacking and checking our private spy camera's when I saw a vampire getting drag by the hunters."

I stared into the mansion's windows, not relying to his report and encouraging him to clarify his thinking. There were already too many dilemmas to shoulder.

"Err.. The vampire was related to the massacre of the Blue Woods Pack." Hans explained.

"Hmmm.."

I've seen this coming.

"Alpha Xander?"

"Have you told anyone about this?"

"Not a soul, just you Alpha Xander."

"Keep it at that."

"What about the Alpha King?"

"I'll tell him myself."

"Am I obligated to refuse?"

"Don't do anything stupid Hans."

"Understood. Copy that."

"Good. Keep working  "

"Oh you notice.Thank you Alpha."

"Till later."

"Ciao." The phone call ended naturally. I shook my head and ran a hand in my black disheveled hair, making me stare at the mansion again.

XANDER. MOVE. Caine's advice knocked me out from my daze.

I know. I need to keep moving forward and I need you to stop adulating me to kill every second.

WERE KILLERS. WE DESIRE FOR BLOOD. ALWAYS. HEEKEKEKEKE.

Not today Caine. Stop. I growled, alerting him to stop making my blood boil and crave for more bloody death to happen. He was getting overconfident to control my vile nature and it didn't sit well with me. He needed to be put in his place.

HEKEKEKEKEEE... COME ON.. THE BLOOD AND FLESH ENTRAPPING US WAS HEAVEN. He cackled, reminding me of the kills and murders I committed with him. I growled even louder, making Caine back out the conversation.

Begone. Don't talk to me right now.

Caine blocked me out with a grisly growl for me to remember. I snorted and shook my head, heading inside the mansion. I was going to convince my sister to finally get out of her room.

"Cel. Can you talk to me? I need to tell you something important." Standing in front of her door again for the hundred time became a habit. She was persistent and sure was a great challenge.

"Cel.."

".......... Hmm.." The sound of her own soft breathing was all I could hear. She was just leaning on the door that was the only thing that was separating us. It made me glad that she finally responded after three days of locking and keeping quiet in Emma's room. Breaking the door was far more simpler and logical but Cel would hate that and became more persistent to convince.

"Cel. Can you come out? I really want to have a talk with you. Will you?" I asked gently, knowing that she was getting antsy at the situation with the awkward bond we were currently having.

"I'm still mad at you. You don't believe me. .." Her voice was shaking.

I sighed quietly and smiled looking at door, talking to her again with a calm gentle tone, "I'm sorry for making you think like that. We do believe you. Your smart Cel so I believe you understand this things."

"......"

"Don't dwell anymore. Alpha Shane and I took care of it. They will be out of prison soon." I whispered and touched her door. I was desperate for her. And it wasn't good.

"They will be home this afternoon Cel. " I said softly, already hearing her quiet sobs from the the other side of the door. I chuckled lightly at her innocent disposition.

"Don't cry. Don't. Just come out and we'll talk about it if you want." I whispered.

"I'm not crying. I'm not." She responded, obviously wiping her tears and trying to sound fine with her poker face.

"Then can you come out?" I asked.

The door opened and I saw my little sister who looked so ragged and jagged. Her hair was unkept, her face was dulled, and she was obviously famished. I was furious to see her in a broken form. I wanted to murder someone to vent the darkness that was devouring me.

Cel wasn't in her usual effervescent self. She looked at me with her poker face and crossed her arms. I smiled at her, throwing the malice away to calm myself and avoid scaring her off.

"What do you want to talk about?" She asked with mean eyes and a matching rough tone, rolling her eyes on me. She was pouting and I smiled again at her lovingly, making her drop the act and look straight to the left of her head, avoiding my smile and glared at whatever she was viewing.

She's like an open book in a situation like this. Does she still think that I'm not used to her pouting state? Cause I always find it interesting.

I chuckled lightly, making her snap at me with one cruel glare. I smiled on my head but kept my face stoic and inexpressive. I wanted her to learn her lesson too.

"Cel. Don't." I warned at her. She seemed to get my sudden anger and sighed, nodding her head to my command.

I smiled, "Let's get you something to eat. What do you want? I'll cook anything you like."

"I'm not hungry." She was still pouting. I walked closer to her and saw her take a step backwards. I was getting slightly amused yet I was pained to think that her trust on me was breaking.

"Not even for blueberry pancakes, a plate of mango float and a beef soup with a bowl of rice?" I asked tediously, having a great time to observe her reaction. She was drooling on the inside but glaring on the outside. I ran a hand to my black hair again and stared at her for the approval of her health.

"I'm not hungry." She protested.

"Are you sure Cel? The blueberry pancakes will be a waste then. Do you want me to throw it away?" I asked abruptly.

"BUUUUURGGHHH~~~~..." The sound of a stomach grumbling for food answered my question.

I stared at her and she was still having her poker face. Her stomach was clearly growling and making such cute sounds defying her very words and actions.

She remained deaf by it and stayed collected by trying not to get flushed by the situation. I was chuckling in my head but kept my face impassive, trying to save her from the cute situation, "I'll be at the kitchen, cooking your meal. Go take care of yourself first and wash you face. Come down when your ready." I smiled and walked to the kitchen, getting started to cook something for my sister.

Everyone was able to cook for their selves in our family, except for the females. Mom was a horrible cook and Cel was worse, she could burn the kitchen just by adding oil and steak. I smirked dryly and was disturbed when the adrenaline came rushing back to my head. I groaned silently. The dilemmas were developing a painful and uncomfortable feeling of tightness inside.

"Unpleasant pain.."

*FLASHBACK*

"Your free. You can go home this afternoon. As long as you keep your word and distance towards Celaine." I said, not really paying mind to the glares being sent to me.

Maximus, Alexander and Seth were sitting in front of me, inside a dark empty prison used to torture rogues. In my perspective, it was a lot better than the silver room.

"What the fuck is up with that Xander?!" Maximus growled, his body was in a bad condition but Seth was the worst of the three. He had been locked in the silver room for five straight days. I'm surprised he hadn't gone insane for keeping his wolf trapped in a torture chamber for purebloods. He deserves a good tap on the shoulder and another jab on the head.

"Call me Alpha and I dare you to say that again Alpha Maximus." I growled.

He snorted and gritted his teeth, taking the right way of not making me give him another good punch.

"I ain't understanding this crap." Seth retorted in fury.

Alexander was only glaring at me, keeping his self cool and matured. I could tell the twins apart because Maximus had a beaten and slashed up face while Alexander's face was bleeding and nutted in knives .

It was easy to remember because I was the one who beat and taught my sappy brothers a lesson they wouldn't forget. They needed to know the boundaries and laws of the Royal Moon pack if they were stepping up into becoming Alpha's in each continent.

"You are understanding this crap Seth. And your running away." I said. I was mad about all of the things my brothers had done to Cel. My blood was going on Adrenalin rush.

KILL THEM. EASY. Caine suggested, his invitation was too catchy and tempting to suppress.

Calm down. I maybe a killer but I got a brain. I don't kill without any merits. I smirked.

LIAR. Caine cackled.

Whatever you say.

HEHEHEHEHKEKEKE. CALL ME WHEN DEATH IS INVITED. Caine growled murderously with a rotten laughter. He cut off the convoy and disappear his presence in my head. I looked back at the dumb asses in my front who was trying to kill me with their puny glares.

"Cel.. She's my--our mate." Alexander sounded confused. Maximus snorted at Alexander and Seth looked at the two with an eloquent expression. He didn't know anything why the twins were in prison and now, he knows. Good for him, Alexander explained it to him in a declaration before I could state the matter.

"She isn't your mate." I replied.

The three slammed the table in sync, if it wasn't for the chains attached to their seats, they would have already landed that on on me. I could have given them another good lesson to share. My blood was still boiling and I was keeping it in check.

"What the fuck are you spewing shit about!? This is all crap!" Seth shouted angrily, gesturing to me evilly and towards the twins.

The twins snorted and scoffed back at him, neither side was winning or losing. I got tired of the show, consequently, I derailed, "You are not her mates. Cel, she had said it herself."

The three snapped their heads in my way and everyone bore a questioning look.

"What are you playing at?" Alexander asked. He was the collected one on the bunch.

"Believe me or not, it's up to you. In this afternoon, we'll all know the truth."

"Lies." Maximus spat back.

I peered at the three and leave them hanging, their yells and rage were not good to the ears.

I arrived at the silver room section, seeing Beta Ryder who was growling in pain. He was punished for bearing his teeth to the Alpha King because of his bitching mate.

"Better?" I asked.

"Alpha Xander...Urghhh...." He growled and trembled as he tossed and turn on the floor with shrieking sounds. The beta was in hell and torture. He was really different from Seth who took the pain like a man. I didn't really care if they died.

Nothing great to expect from him. After all his family only contains a one fourth of our lineage.

"You should have think twice before you had attacked." I commented.

"He... That..son of--... Urghh... He was fucking her..!" He managed to spat back.

"No. That didn't seem like it to me."

"The fuck are you talking about!? My mate was--"

"She was bitching him to take her. You should reject her. The lady is more interested of the Luna Queen position." I adjured. He glared back at me, his eyes filled with agony and despair. He looked very pathetic that it was too stupid to watch. I walked away fast. I didn't want to hear his lame excuses.

In a few momentum, I arrived at Emma's cell. Checking on her daily had also been my call.

"Emma. Are you feeling well? Shane had overdone it." I said calmly, looking at my littered cousin in her cell.

Shane's decision of punishing her was not questionable. Her sneaking in the mansion of the Alpha King's office without permission could have led her to a death sentence. But she was family and we needed to consider our mother and sister.

"It's alright Alpha Shane. I was getting fed by someone." She smiled.

Feed her? That guy is dead.

She was under a punishment of three days, imprisoned with only water to sustain here. What part of no food was hard to understand? It was expected, I already knew someone who would try to feed the girl. My calculations would be that it was the old guard assigned at her cell. That man lets his justice rule for him.

"That's good. I know I already told you that you can be released this afternoon but I want to check up on you again." I said in a hushed tone.

She giggled and nodded, " I'm thankful for your help Alpha Xander. I knew you would get me and my cousi--the Alphas out of here."

I half smiled and leaved her sometime for herself to be alone. It was translucent, she was a bad influence to Cel. It wasn't befitting.

I stopped to the rogues's cage and entered. Three guards were beating one rogue to death and two guards were raping the female rogue. She was crying and not losing strength to fight.

Shane must have told this guys to keep the rogues company.

"Get out." I commanded, cold as ice in my tone. The guards looked surprised at my sudden dreadful presence that their faces went pale. All scrambled out the room with haste.

".... Luke.. Luke..! " The woman ran to the guy who was having a hard time breathing, the guards had hit his vital points and critical organs. The silver chains binding him was keeping him from regenerating.

"Please... Please.. Help him.. We already told you everything... Please!!" She begged.

I leaned on the wall, observing her face, "Why would I save a rogue who was trying to sneak into our pack and give the information to the hunters who would have then murder my whole pack?" I asked directly, the dread on her face was all she could answer.

I gazed with no pretense and she began to bawl over her dying mate very loudly. I let out a dagger and her eyes widen in horror.

"I could kill you at the same time." I said, tracing the sharpness of my blade. The woman gulped and sobbed as she hugged her bloody mate. Her eyes growing more and more shrouded in despair.

"Do you want to die together?"

"What?" She panicked.

"He's good as dead in his condition. Dying with your mate together isn't that bad is it?" I asked.

The girl sobs softly and tightened her arms around her dying mate. She looks at her mate who was coughing more blood.

"Please..." She begged, the tears on her face keeps on falling. She was calling for the wrong person to help. I stared at her and I could feel her dying inside. Felicitous made me smile darkly.

"Here." I throw the woman a sharp dagger and it landed near her feet. She stared at the dagger and wondered back to look at me.

"I'm not kind. Use that dagger to kill your mate and yourself. It's the least of my sympathy I could give you." My face was emotionless as I continued to stare at her face turning into pure horror.

"I... I can't.." She squeaked, tears pouring out.

"Then watch him die in pain." I said and chinned up to the side to give her time to think. The woman wailed in distress and hugged the lump of meat on her arms.

"I... I'm sorry.." She whispered in his ear and did what I expected.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

"XANDER?!" The warmth I felt that strung inside my body waked me up to reality. I looked in front of me and saw a small delicate figure in front of me. Cel looked more like her usual self. All she needed was a push and encouragement.

"Are you alright sweeties?" She asked with so much worry as she looked at the burnt pancakes in the pan.

"I think not." I answered back seriously.

We looked at each other for a second, eyes gleaming with mischief before bursting into laughter, laughing with one another like we always do.

"God~~ I miss you." She chirped and snuggled in my arms. I was startled to the small and soft and fragile girl that was leaping in my arms; too stunned by the event to even react by her unexpected move.

Seconds passed before I could get my mind to work, snuggling her back and patting her back as I pulled away.

"So was I..." I whispered quietly.

I cooked her another batch of blueberry pancakes and her favorite menu. She gobbled it all up and asked for another batch, four times over. Looking at her eat in a savory and relishing way had always been one of my solace.

"Xander..."

"Hmmm?"

"Im...sor.."

"Hmmm?"

"Sorr..."

"Sorr?"

"Im sorry."

"I know. I am too."

She smiled at me. The smile that always made me feel loved and welcomed. I smiled back at her and continued washing the dishes, I was going to spoil her like a princess for today. I really did miss her.

An hour passed and we talked like we didn't just had the 'three days no talk.' We were both happy with each others company and didn't care about anything at the moment.

"Darling can you please do the honor of preparing a good movie to watch while I go to the bathroom?" She teased playfully, making me chuckle a bit and waved at her way to the toilet, Cel waved back.

I smirked silently and stared at her walk away. She was trying too much to act ordinarily.

I prepared the couch with all the things we needed in my wolf speed; the drinks, the snacks, the pillows that she loved and soft blankets. It had been a long time since I tried to spend time with her. It was a good time to have a new pace for once.

My phone rang and I answered it in haste when I saw the I.D caller. She hates waiting the most.

"This is Xander. What is it mom?" I asked.

"Oh honey. I'm so glad to hear your voice again. I got bad news honey. We can't go home tomorrow. I know it's already been six days and were supposed to arrive at tomorrow morn' but something came up."

"Business?"

"Yes dear. Your father and I will be staying a bit more in Paris and were going to head for Australia. Your father said it's business. I already texted Shane because he wouldn't answer his phone." She was talking too fast and busy-like.

"Of course mom."

"Your such an angel. Bye honey. Take care of the family for me."

"I will." The call ended and I began scumming my calculations.

Business. Hmmm...

I turned on the the massive plasma t.v and choose for a good movie to watch.

I grabbed the remote and dropped it cohesively. A scent made me completely lost interest in everything around me.

My sense of smell was playing on me. And lust was on my soul.

I whiffed the smell of roses and lilac, it was such an exuding fragrance to my sense. I could never stop inhaling the scent. Caine was growling wild inside me. I was slowly losing my
