"Left! Right! You got it! Ya-oh damn it!" I groan, my hand and head against the glass as I watch the teddy drop back down. Dylan curses and runs his hands through his hair to show his frustration.

Luckily we managed to escape that awkward moment and went back to normal after we brought candy floss and we decide to check out other stalls.

"You know those things are a scam, right?" I hear Dallas say from behind us. I turn around slowly to glare at him and Millie, who was holding a pink teddy in her hand that Dallas had won for her.

"You know I carry mayonnaise, right?" I threaten, he only rolls his eye at me and shakes his head in annoyance, while mumbling, "I really wish I could just wipe your memory, just so I can make you forget that,"

I stick my tongue out at him and turn to Dylan, "let's go, we can find something else to waste our money on," Money that I really don't have...

Love being broke...

Dylan turns his head towards me, shows me a frown and nods his head. He sadly places his hand around my shoulder and leads me towards another direction, "Let's try the basketball one, I'm usually good at that,"

Dylan stops in front of a stall that included shooting at least 7/10 basketballs into a moving hoop, in hopes of winning one of the teddies that were displayed in the back.

"Don't worry babe, you choose which one you want while I destroy the game," he says, placing his hands on my shoulder as I give him an encouraging nod.

"You guys are so dramatic," I hear Millie say, which we both choose to ignore.

Dylan removes his hands from me and starts the game, straight away he gets the first one in, causing me to excitedly clap my hands and cheer on for him.

Just like that, Dylan gets all the basketballs in, only missing one because I accidentally distracted him by my cheering but he managed to recover and continue.

"Told you I was good at this," he says, giving me his signature wink and smirk, "which one do you want?" He asks, pointing at the display of teddies.

I stare at them, in deep thought, when I finally spot the one, "that one," I point at the grey tatty teddy dressed as a chick.

The worker picks up the teddy and handing it to me, I instantly grab it and smile at the cute teddy.

"Alright your turn," I hear Dylan say, I look up at him confused and he continues, "you gotta win me something now," Erm...

"Sure but I don't know if I have enough money," I say, I'm horrible at these games.

Dylan smirks and his face lightens up as if he has an idea, "don't worry, I know the perfect game for you," In response, I just give him a confused look, what is he up to...?

"You know I finally understand you Jaya," I hear Dallas say from behind me.

I turn around to face him, "what do you mean?" Ohhhh

He sighs, "I finally understand how you felt 3rd and 5th wheeling,"

I laugh, "Dude, Finally! But like why's that?"

He shrugs, "even though we're all actually here as couples, excluding Kris, it just feels like we're invading your date,"

Ha!

I stick my tongue out at him and smirk, "ha! See how that feels!" He narrows his eyes at me and just turns away.

"Would you like us to leave you two alone," Millie teases.

"Sure, I wouldn't mind," Dylan agrees, sounding actually serious, I turn to him, giving him a glare which he only responds with an innocent smile.

"No seriously, you guys wanna split up?" Tim asks,

I shake my head and frown, "not really unless that's what you guys actually want," I narrow my eyes at Sarah and Tim.

Tim scratches the back of his head, "call us before leaving, bye!" He quickly says, grabbing Sarah's hand and running off.

"I guess we'll just do the same then, bye?" Dallas says, but he looks more confused. Millie shrugs and waves at me, "Okay, have fun," they both turn around walking away, Dallas turns around briefly to glare at Dylan.

I turn to Kris, "so..."

Kris just holds his hands up in surrender, "yeah I'm out, I'm not 3rd wheeling," he slowly backs away.

I turn to Dylan, "why does everyone treat 3rd wheel like a disease, you know how offended I feel,"

Dylan snickers, "well miss 3rd wheel, you're not exactly 3rd wheeling any more. Anyways let's go play that game I was on about,"

.

.

"Seriously...?" I stare blankly between Dylan and the hook a duck stall.

He gives me a toothy smile and nods, "It's perfect-" his smile drops and he continues, "Wait, don't tell me you're bad at this as well?"

I glare at him, "I'm not, I could literally do this with my eyes closed,"

Turning away from Dylan, I had the guy my money who gives me a confused look and passes me a hook, I quickly hook the biggest duck I see and swing it in the air.

"Yay! I got it!" I excitedly cheer and turn to Dylan, he stares at me at his face lights him in admiration,

"Well done," he says, between his smile.

"So what would you like?" I ask him, passing the hook back to the guy.

He thinks, "hmm, why don't you choose for me?"

I furrow my brows, "erm, you sure?" He looks down at me and nods. I look through the limited options, I mean it is a kids game so there was mostly plastic toys and useless stuff that Dylan would probably just throw away.

I carefully scan the prizes until my eyes fall on the key rings, a mini grey bunny, to match the soap he got me.

I tell the guy, who instantly takes it of the wall and passes it to me, I turn around to Dylan, "here, this is because your car keys looked really empty and it's similar to the soap you got me," I grab his hand and place it on his palm.

I look up at him, to find him just quietly staring at me, I awkwardly move my feet around and bite my inner lip, "Don't you like it? Do you want me to get you something else?"

He stays quiet for a bit, instead of responding he pulls me towards him, wrapping his arms around me, "I love it," he says, resting his head on top of mine while I awkwardly stood there still processing what's going on.

Before I could react he pulls away from me and asks, "so what do you wanna do?" I notice him putting the keyring in his pocket.

I shrug, "we've gone on most of the rides and played a ton of games, you wanna try the food stalls now?"

He frowns and looks in thought, "fuck it," I hear him curse under his breath but he suddenly shrugs and smiles, "that sounds amazing, let's go!" He pulls my hand and starts dragging me around.

I hate how easily I start liking a guy, in the end all it leads me to is heartbreak. Because right now I know I'm the only one between the two of us that's heart was going crazy, every time he held my hand or leaned in a little too close, even when he fed me some of the food.

This seemed very natural to him, whether he's a player or he really sees me as a good friend, which I don't mind but I think my heart does.

But I know I will never be the one to confess my feelings for someone, especially knowing that he's still hung up on someone else, I'd rather not lose him as a friend as well.

I guess we can just be 'best buddies'

Just then I feel my phone vibrate, causing me to pause as we were walking, Dylan looks down at me confused, but before he can ask anything I pull my phone out, checking the notification.

Millie:
Jaya! SOS!
I need to tell you something!

Well that's not ominous at all....
