((Grandma Angie^^))

Charlie ran into Rileys room. "I need your help" he said with crazy eyes. Riley dropped her magazine and followed Charlie to his room.

He had clothes covering his bed. "What do I wear for my date tonight?" He said pointing at the mess. Riley scratched the back of her head and dived into the pile of clothes.

"I think this is a cute outfit" she pulled a baby blue Ralph Loren shirt with pale brown chinos and smart shoes.
"Okay, let me try it on" he grabbed them and hurried to the bathroom to get changed.

Riley looked around his room. It was quite clean compared to her other brothers. The white walls had an effect that made the room look bigger somehow.

"How's this?" Charlie said and twirled around like a ballerina. Riley nodded as an approval and watched as he reached out and grabbed a beer. He was nervous, Charlie never normally drinks this early. Charlie swigged the beer and burped.

Riley gave him a disgusted look. "Excuse me" he said noting the expression on his sisters face. Riley stood up on his bed and called him over.
"One last thing" Riley bit her lip and squeezed hair jel onto her palm. She ruffled his hair and styled it into a perfect quiff. "Amazing" she smiled.
"Thanks so much Riles, I couldn't have done this without you" he hugged her and kissed her forehead.
"Anytime big bro" she hugged him back.

"Grandma is here!" Yelled Kyle from downstairs.
"Coming now!" Charlie yelled back. He looked at himself one last time in the mirror before running down the stairs.

"Thank you so much for coming to look after the kids grandma." Riley heard Charlie say from the top of the stairs. "I didn't want to leave Kyle in charge, these 4 haven't been getting along recently."
"It's no problem dear. Now where are the rest my grand babies?" Grandmas soft voice spoke.
"Mikey is at his girlfriends house. The twins are in the living room playing a game, Kyle is in the kitchen eating and Riley is upstairs." Riley walked down the stairs and looked at the site of her grandmother pinching Charlie's cheek.
"Have fun dear" grandma smiled, Charlie smiled back and rubbed his cheek.
"Be good for grandma! See you guys tomorrow!" Charlie yelled as he left the house.

"Riley" grandma exclaimed as she went to squeeze her granddaughter.
"Hey grandma." Riley hugged her grandmother gently. Grandma is the mother of their mum, not only is she the most beautiful person over 60 but she is also the nicest.
"How are you dear?" Grandma asked looking at Riley with her wise eyes.
"I'm fine thanks granny" Riley smiled.
"Where are the boys?" She asked and looked around. Riley pointed to the door of the kitchen and followed grandma to it.

Inside sat Kyle munching on a packet of Doritos watching football on his phone. He paused the game and turned to look at his granny and sister.
"Oh Kyle! Look how big you've gotten" grandma walked slowly over to him and kissed him on the cheek, Kyle looked disgusted, Riley giggled at this site.

"How are you dear? Got a girlfriend yet?" Granny winked at him.
"No, not yet granny." Kyle said smiling at grandma. Riley laughed and Kyle shot her a horrid glare. Granny patted Kyle's head before closing the door behind her.

Riley followed her grandma to the lounge and watched her greet the twins. The twins seemed uninterested in everything granny had to say, they were too focused on their game. Grandma left the room, Riley went to follow her but Ryan was tugging her shirt.
"What?" She hissed at him still upset from yesterday's incident.
"I....I just want to apologise about last night" Ryan said quietly not wanting Shawn to hear.
"I thought you were different from them. But evidently not." She grabbed her shirt from his grip and stormed out the room to find her grandmother. Ryan had always been the kinder twin, he knew when enough was enough and Riley admired that about him.

After granny had spoken to everyone Riley and her went outside and sat on a bench together. Grandma Angie looked up at the grey sky and sighed.

"It's getting cold now. No good for an old lady like me" she continued to look at the sky.
"You're not old granny" Riley placed her hand on top of granny's. Grandma Angie smiled weakly at her and took her hands in hers.

"You look so beautiful, just like your mother" she said and cupped Rileys face in her hands.
"Thanks" Riley smiled at the memory of her mother.
"So what's happening in the great and exciting life of Riley Wood?" Grandma continued to admire her granddaughter. Riley told her about her brothers and how they teased her and what they had said to Matt. Grandma and Libby were the only people Riley told everything, all her secrets, all her feelings, everything.

"Them pesky boys!" Grandma said annoyed and waved her fist. Riley giggled, man she loved her granny. "I'll be having words with Kyle later" she laughed, Riley laughed as well.
"They only do it because they love you." Granny spoke slowly so that Riley could understand everything she said.
"Maybe" Riley whispered. "Or maybe they are just jerks." Riley suggested looking back into the lounge and watched the twins playing call of duty on the Xbox.

"This boy..." grandma said trying to remember his name.
"Matt" Riley confirmed.
"Yes Matt. If you like this boy, don't let your brothers get in the way" grandma said and gently put her hand on Rileys knee.
"I do like him. But he probably wouldn't speak to me again after what Kyle said to him." Riley said sullenly.
"You will never know unless you talk to him. Don't loose him Riley, you will regret it" she said seriously. Riley nodded and hugged her grandma before going to her room.

She stared at her phone which was placed on her bed side table. One of her brothers must have left it there after yesterday. She turned it on and the screen became bright, Riley went on her messages with Matt. She looked at his goofy profile picture which she took of him in the park, she smiled sadly at the memory.

Riley read the message Kyle sent and sighed. Should she message him? But surely he wouldn't speak to her after the last text. She really missed him and knowing that maybe she lost him forever killed her.

"Be brave" Riley whispered to herself before pressing the button to call Matt. It rang for a few minutes before Matt picked up.

"Hello?" Matt said, Riley didn't answer "hellooooo?" Matt spoke again, Riley didn't know what to do. She cleared her throat.
"Riley is that you?" Riley jumped at the sound of him saying her name.
"Matt...." Riley whispered.
