10 years later

Matt slid his hand onto Rileys big pregnant belly. "My girls" he grinned and kissed his wife. Riley ran her slim fingers through his dirty blonde hair.

"We better go or we will be late for Lucas's first birthday" Riley grabbed her keys and the present. Matt grabbed her wrist and pulled her back.

"We are not going until I get my kiss" Matt whined like a child.
"You're a man child Matthew" Riley giggled and gently placed each hand on his cheeks.

Rileys stared into her husbands loving blue eyes. His eyes were like portal, she could remember the first time she saw him opposite the bus stop.

He grabbed onto her waist and pulled her close so that their bodies moved as one. Matt licked his lips and lowered his head, Riley tilted hers and parted her lips. They kissed slowly, soon they would be a family. Riley, Matt and the baby girl.

Matt ran his tongue over her lip, Riley bit his bottom lip and pressed hard onto his chest. Matt picked her up onto his waist and pressed her hard against the wall.

Riley started pulling his shirt off but her phone rang. She heard Matt curse and drop her slowly, Matt grabbed the keys and waited in the car.

"Hello?" Riley answered trying to regain her breath.
"Baby?" Kyle asked.
"Hey Kyle, what's wrong?" Riley smiled, she hadn't heard from him in a while.

Kyle had been traveling the world with his friends. He was 27 now and still no wife and no kids, he hadn't changed a bit.

"I'm trying to find Shawn and Libby's house but I have no clue where it is?" She heard his music play in the background.

After Riley had given him the directions she left and drove to Shawn and Libby's house. It was their sons first birthday today, he was called Lucas and he was the cutest bundle of joy.

Riley watched her goofy husband as he sang along to the song on the radio. After the car had turned around a few roundabouts they had finally arrived.

"Riley" she heard Libby yell, Riley looked up at her waving friend, Riley waved back.
"I've missed you" Riley hugged her new sister.
"Missed you two Riles" Libby snuggled into her hair "well hello baby bump" Libby grinned at Rileys belly.

"It should be a few more months now" Matt said as he walked over to them.
"I'm so happy for you guys" Libby squealed and clapped her hands together.

"Come in come in" Libby smiled kindly and waved her hand. Riley and Matt walked into their neat home and laughed as they watched their cute little nephew dance.

"Hello mr birthday boy" Matt knelt down and hugged him. Lucas screamed and started giggling as Matt tickled his little belly.

"Hey baby" Shawn emerged from the kitchen.
"Hey Shawn" Riley embraced him.
"Thanks for coming" he smiled at her.
"Wouldn't miss it for the world" Riley passed him his sons gift. "Where is everyone else?" She looked around.

"They are on the way. But Ryan is already here" Shawn shifted and rubbed the back of his head.
"Ryan is in the lounge" Libby pointed at the closed door to her right.

Riley nodded and slowly pushed it open. "Hey Riles" Ryan got up from the couch and hugged his little sister.

A man was sat behind Ryan, he had dark skin and beautiful brown eyes. Ryan noticed that she was looking at him "Sorry how rude, this is Callum, my boyfriend" Ryan smiled at him and held his big hand.

"It's nice to meet you Callum, I'm Riley" she smiled at him happy that her brother had finally found love.
"It's a pleasure to meet you Riley I have heard so many good things about you" he smiled back.

After everyone except Kyle had arrived they gathered around the crowded table. Libby and Shawn sat each side of their son Lucas. Matt sat next to Ryan and Callum. Riley was opposite Matt and she sat next to Becca and Brooke. Charlie and his daughter Lily sat at the other end next to Mikey.

"Where's Kyle?" Brooke raised her eyebrows and rubbed her pregnant belly, she was expecting a boy.
"Kyle's always late" Charlie rolled his eyes.
"Uncle Kyle is naughty" Lily giggled.

Lily was four now and she looked similar to Rileys mum, she smiled at the similarities.

"We should begin anyway he will turn up when he does" Shawn shrugged and began to share out the food.

They heard the sound of the front door open, it was Kyle.

"It's about time" Mikey chucked and waited for him to walk through the door but it wasn't Kyle it was a woman.

Rileys jaw dropped as she looked at the young girl, she looked around 20 years old. She had blonde wavey hair and was wearing a short skirt with a tight almost see through white shirt.

Kyle emerged from behind her "Hey what's up family" he smiled at them. No one said anything they all continued to look at her and then him with confused expressions.

"Oh yeah right sorry this is Mia" he grabbed the girls butt, Riley turned away and rolled her eyes at Matt who smirked in reply.

Every year Kyle would come to a meal with a different girl. One year it was a little Asian women called Megan, the next it was a shy girl called Becky and now Mia. Riley wondered when Kyle would settle down.

"Hey guys" Mia smiled at them.
"Hey, welcome, sit down" Libby got up and pulled an extra chair.
"Happy birthday little dude" Kyle picked up Lucas and tickled his feet.

Lucas started laughing and kicking, Lily got up and wrestled her uncles leg, she chanted "pick me up".

Kyle grabbed her and lifted her up, she screamed as he blew onto her belly.

They began to eat their meal, they caught up on what everyone had been up to. Mikey and Brooke had just gotten back from their holiday in Hawaii.

Charlie, Becca and Lily had attended Lily's first ballet recital. Ryan and Callum had moved in together. Shawn and Libby had settled down in their new home and were trying for another baby.

"Time for cake" Libby grinned at her son who shook with excitement.
"Cake cake cake" Lily chanted and wiggled her hips in anticipation, Charlie laughed at his dorky daughter.

Riley not only saw her mother in Lily, but she also saw a lot of herself. Lily had similar colour hair and her personality was uncanny to hers, she smiled at her niece.

They all began to sing happy birthday to Lucas, they watched as he struggled to blow out the candle in a shape of a number 1.

Lucas took a fistful of cake and smushed it in his little hand, everyone laughed.

Riley felt so blessed to be apart of this loving family. She knew that they were always there for her.
