((Ryan and Shawn up top^^))

Riley was rudely awoken by a shooting pain in her stomach. She quickly got up and rubbed her belly, Riley hissed as it cramped.

Riley crunched the covers in hope is would stop the pain, it didn't. She cried and fell off the bed.

"Why are you on the floor?" Shawn raised his eyebrows as he looked at his little sister rolling around on the floor.
"I-I have a c-cramp" she gasped as the pain slowly stopped and started again.
"Gross" he snarled and walked away, she rolled her eyes and continued to grip the area of the pain.

After the pain had stopped she slowly got up not wanting the cramps to begin again. She brushed down her pyjamas and stared to walk down to the kitchen for some breakfast.

"Morning baby" Charlie smiled at her.
"Don't call me that" she hissed angrier than usual.
"Wow, what's up with you grumpy pants today?" Mickey asked as he sipped his cold water.

To be honest, Riley didn't know why she was feeling like this, so angry.
"I'm fine" she lied and flashed a fake smile. Mikey rolled his eyes and nodded towards her signalling Kyle to do something.

She felt Kyle's bony finger poke her "what do you want moron?" She sighed.
"Moron?" Kyle was taken back "anyways, how are you feeling today? Anything...weird happen?" Kyle squinted his dark eyes at her.
"Well my belly really hurt this morning" Riley explained.

She heard Charlie silently curse "what have I done?" Riley looked up at her eldest brother.
"I um think it's that time of the month" Charlie whispered to her, Riley felt herself turn bright red, Kyle laughed hysterically.

Her eyes widened and she dropped her spoon and sprinted up the stairs. Riley hadn't been to the bathroom yet so Charlie could be right.

Riley ran her fingers through her long hair while opening the door to the bathroom. She slowly walked over to the toilet. Riley tugged her donut pyjama bottoms off and sat on the seat.

She grunted as she felt her bum getting wet, why do guys always pee on the seat. After she had relived herself she signed because Charlie was right, mr period had come for a visit, let's hope it was a short visit.

Riley rummaged through the cabinets trying to find pads, but there was nothing, nada, zilch.
She knew what she had to do.

She tucked a stranded peace of hair behind her ear and entered the kitchen again. All of her brothers looked up at her, scared.

"I need one of you to get me some pads" she said through gritted teeth trying to make this less awkward, but it didn't work, it was very awkward.
"I'll get you some" Charlie shifted uncomfortably in his seat, the rest of her brothers looked away embarrassed.

"Great. No offence Riley but you're more of a handful than usual when it's that time of the month" Kyle shook his head in disgust.
"No offence!" Riley raised her voice.
"Oh boy" Ryan shrunk into his seat.
"Do you know what it's like to bleed every single fucking month?" She exploded.

"Watch your language" Charlie warned her, she ignored him and carried on to scold Kyle who was smirking at her irritation.
"Actually I don't know what it's like, because I'm a guy" Kyle mocked, Riley rolled her eyes.

"Oh and all of you. Stop peeing on the seat! I repeat stop peeing on the seat!" She yelled until her voice started to hurt.
"Geez Riley chill out okay?" Ryan suggested as he cut into his breakfast.
"Not okay! I'm sick of living with 5 slobs!" She screamed.

Charlie got up and walked cautiously over to his fiery sister. "It's okay baby, I mean Riley, it's okay" he stuttered "I'll get you those pad thingys now" he slowly extended his arms out and grabbed his car keys.

Charlie left quickly, the rest of her brother looked at their sister with big eyes, she glared at them all and walked out.

She plonked herself onto her bed and sighed. She hated this time of the month, hated it! It wasn't fair, why did girls have to suffer? Did they not suffer enough having to carry the baby and now this.

She rolled over still angry at her thoughts, her phone vibrated. Riley turned it around to see a text from Matt.

Matt: Hey Riley, just wanted to say good morning babe.

Riley: what's so good about this morning? :/

Matt: what's wrong babe?

Riley: not in the mood to talk okay?

Riley dropped her phone and turned it off. She hated this feeling, she was angry at everyone and anything but for no reason.

She did feel bad for the people around her who were stuck with her foul moods but that's life, it ain't always pretty.

Riley heard the sound of Charlie's jeep, she obediently got up and strolled down the stairs. She saw his silhouette come closer to the door.

He unlocked it and walked in. He was holding a white plastic bag.
"Hope these are the right ones" he handed her a purple box.
"These will do, thanks" she examined it carefully reading the small print.

She started to walk away but Charlie called her back, she turned to look at him.
"I've got you something else as well" his hand disappeared inside the bag. When he pulled it back out chocolates came along with it.

"Chocolates" he smiled at her "I thought maybe these could help?" He handed them to her.
"Awh Charlie, thank you big brother" she took them and hugged him.

All a girl really needed to feel better was comfort and chocolate.

This was the only good thing about periods, chocolate.
