Me and Caiden got home and I warmed up dads dinner and placed it on the table as he walked in, Caiden was standing next to me as he walked in, we both silently gulped as he walked in and sat eating his dinner, he looked up and scrolled,

"What are you looking at you brats!" We both looked down, he burped causing Caiden to laugh, dad looked up and glared, when we was up young when Caiden laughed at dad when he burped dad used to tickle him and say 'a burp after a meal, tells the cook you enjoyed there food' now he glared and stood towing over him,

"You laughing at me boy!" I stood in front of him protectively. He pushed me out way and I hit my head of the counter, I gasped in pain and put my hand to my head to feel a warm sticky liquid, I screamed when I noticed my hand was full of blood, dad and Caiden turned to me and I looked dad with horror, his eyes showed a flicker of regret but he hide it and glared, and shoved me and Caiden towards the door,

"get out and don't come back until tomorrow, I'll make your mother think your at your friends, you deserve to live on

The streets, you little freaks" I pulled Caiden to the park I went to last time and we sat on the swings while I held my cut with the sleeve of my jumper, Caiden looked at with with worry in his eyes,

"Lilly you need to go hospital it looks really bad" I shook my head, and smiled encouragingly, he sighed, and spoke with a quiet voice,

"I could call Luke?" I sighed and nodded giving up, he picked up my phone and dialled Luke who said I had to have his number for emergency and so he could call me about my appointments

"Hello is this Luke?" "Yeah it's Caiden" "my sisters hurt her head and it's bad" "yeah she's bleeding" "urm... Where at the park near our home" "dads at work" he lied "you don't need to bother him" "thank you" "bye Luke" he ended the call and looked at me,

"He will be here in 20 minutes he's just finished his shift, and he said he won't call dad" I sighed in relief, once Luke got here we ushered us into his car and drove to his apartment which always a pent house in a expensive flat, hotel thingie, or what ever they are called a big building where you house expensive one floored apartment, Caiden ran over to the tv and looked at it in awe, Luke spoke up,

"Caiden, you can go on my Xbox if you want while I look after your sister" Caiden smiled happily and said thank you, as Luke took me to the kitchen and told me to sit on the stool while he got the first aid kit, he inspected my head as I flinched one in a while, he kept apologising, he held a cold cloth to my head, once it stopped bleeding he had to use two butterfly stitched then added that stingy stuff that help, I should have listened when we learnt this medical stuff I'm class. Once he was done he smiled at his work and stood cleaning up the mess, once he finished I hugged him thankfully and he smiled patting my head where the cut was and smiled.

"It's okay squirt, I also talked to my mates who the psychologist he agreed to take you in for appointments and he will allow me to come with you okay?" I nodded timidly, then walked into the front room and played C.O.D with Caiden, we kept winning and he jumped up happily until Luke spoke,

"Guys it's getting late and I'm sure your dads getting worried, I think it's time for you both to go home" I nodded and smiled thankfully at Luke, Caiden hugged him and whispered in his ear, but I caught what he said,

"Thank you for helping my sister and mom, your the best" Luke blushed and grinned, he ruffled Caiden's hair and we left silently when we was in the lift Caiden spoke

"Sis where we going to go?" I closed my eyes and thought, my eyes widened, they place I stayed at when I was drunk I'm not sure who's house it is but I'm sure they'd let us stay, well I hope they do. I smiled at Caiden and we walked to the house, once we got there I knocked, it was silent, I cursed and Caiden spoke,

"Maybe we should go?" I shook my head and sat on the step, he sat next to me and I pulled him ink me so his head rested on my shoulder with my arm wrapped around him.

Just as I was about to fall asleep I heard there voices,

"Shall we wake them?" Swayers voice I think,

"They look so cute though" defiantly Blake, I slowly opened my eyes and looked at them and jumped when I noticed Hunters face was right in front of mine, they all laughed causing Caiden to wake up and rub his eyes, he yawned and looked at them with fear at first and he shuffled closer to me, I kissed the side of his head and looked at them as Hunter spoke,

"Why you here?" I looked at Caiden who looked at me to see if he could say, I nodded,

"We got kicked out" Blake spoke

"Again Minnie?" I smiled innocently, he shook his head and Hunter helped us up and opened the door, Swayer spoke,

"Who's the kid?" Caiden spoke up for himself,

"I'm her brother, Caiden" Swayer smirked and spoke,

"Want to play FIFA?" Caiden nodded and followed Swayer and Blake to the front room, while I followed hunter to the kitchen, he got a notepad and pen for me and started making hot chocolate, for Caiden I think, I wrote on the piece of paper,

Is this your house?

"Yeah"

I- can me and Caiden- would you- he noticed my struggle to write something and chuckled,

"Yes you and Caiden can stay the night" I jumped up and hugged him, he hugged back then pulled dime away to look at my head,

"What happened to your head princess?"

Slipped and hit my head on the kitchen counter he looked like he was going to say more but didn't, he finished the drinks passed one to me and held the other as we walked into the front room Caiden was sitting on the sofa smiling while Swayer was on his feet obviously trying had to win the game and Blake was laughing at Swayer, I raised an eyebrow at Hunter who just shrugged and passed the other hot chocolate to Caiden who smiled thankfully at Hunter who smiled back I sat on the sofa and led down stretching my body, Hunter came over an lifted me do my head rested on a pillow on his lap and started playing with my hair, making me sleepy, I finished my Hot chocolate then placed the cup in the table and slowly fell asleep.

I felt myself being lifted up and and I slightly opened my eyes to see Hunter carrying me bridal style up the stairs, he looked down noticing I was awake,

"Go back to sleep princess" I shuffled closer and he held me closer, he opened a door and placed me on the bed softly, he went to leave but I caught his sleeve, he looked at me and I could see him debating what to do, he sighed moved me over slightly and got in putting the cover over both of us and hugged me closer to him as I placed my head on his chest,

I was running, I turned to see my dad chasing me with an angry expression in his face, I tripped over and looked back to see both mom and Caiden's body on the floor both there eyes looking at me lifelessly, I shook them with panic,

"Come on get up!" "Please mama! Caiden!" "Please, dad will be here, we need to go" a voice made me jump, "they're dead Lilliana, and your next" I looked up to dad and sobbed, "no daddy! Why are you doing this!" "Lilly!" I looked around "Lilly wake up!" I gasped and sat up quickly to see Hunter looking down at me with worry,

"You where screaming in your sleep" I started crying as the memory replayed in my head, Hunter hugged me,

"Shhh, your okay it was just a nightmare, go back to sleep princess" I hugged him as he stroked my hair sending me back to sleep.

I woke up yarning, Hunter smiled,

"Your so cute princess" I smiled, he frowned remembering last night,

"Lilly, you spoke last night..."
