Yoongi sat on his desk chair and moved over to his keyboard as he tried to figure out how he could help you find the music for his poem. "Come here" he said patting his thighs lazily and you walked over to him. He held your waist so you'd sit facing forward.

He rolled closer to be at a comfortable distance and extended his arms to place his fingers on the keys. "Put your fingers over mine" he instructed and you did as he said, yours looked comically shorter and you chuckled.

"I guess I get what they mean when they talk about pianist fingers now, I'm lucky if I can reach two keys side by side" you said and he laughed softly at your observation.

"Here's the idea" he started and explained himself "I'm going to play a few chords, if you like the sound you hold my fingers down, ok?" You nodded and he laid back and closed his eyes to focus on listening alone. After a few chords he felt you hold his fingers in place and he smiled.

He repeated the chord and added a second one showing you a few different combinations. It took a little longer for you to press down this time. Yoongi continued until he had a few and reached under the keyboard to pull out his own little handmade book and a pen.

Placing it on your thigh and opening it with one hand, he reached over with his dominant one and wrote down the chords you chose. You looked down as he did "such a pretty handwriting for a guy" you commented. He smiled to himself amused and cleared his throat as he put the book aside.

Like that you continued to put together the melody for your poem and it was pretty much effortless. You seemed to have a good ear and he was thrilled, he couldn't help but smile to himself the whole time.

As Yoongi replayed what you had so far all together, he laid his chin on your shoulder. "What do you think?" he asked curiously turning his face slightly to yours.

"You're the music genius, I have no idea, what do you say?" you retorted and he chuckled. He pressed a soft kiss on the crook of your neck. "You're doing a great job" he said softly and you could feel the corners of his lips curling against your skin as he had barely lifted his lips off you.

"Can you play it again?" he obliged at your request, but this time he observed you reaction attentively. You smiled the whole time as your eyes were fixed on a spot you weren't actually looking at. Your focus was on the music. "Close your eyes" he suggested with a soft voice not to startle you.

Doing as he said you were able to better appreciate the music as the removal of the sense of sight enhanced your hearing. Your smile grew wider and so did his, he was so proud of you. He removed his hands from the keyboard and placed them on your thighs. "Does it sound like your poem?" he needed to know, it didn't matter what he thought, it had to be true to you.

"It sounds like you" you said smiling sweetly, your eyes still shut. He was confused for a second, but you continued eventually "I wrote about how you make me feel, and this is how you feel" you finished and Yoongi felt his cheeks flush.

One thing was coming up with the music for his own thoughts and feelings, but a very different one was hearing what yours sounded like. The tunes your heart beat to when you thought about him.

Your feelings for him sounded as beautiful as everything your poems brought out of his own heart, and even though he didn't think he fit in between them, you had harmonically and flawlessly incorporated him as part of your all in your own way.

"I love you" he whispered in your ear and kissed you behind it, you were making him feel some intense things right now and his heart burned with love for you. You shifted on his lap to try and meet his eyes. He quickly put his hands on your hips to hold you in place. "Don't move" Yoongi asked sheepishly, his cheeks burning red.

"Yoongi, are you" you started with an amused smirk and he quickly cut you off.

"I'm sorry, but"—he tried to justify himself feeling guilty. He hadn't anticipated this would go so well and you'd have this innate musicality that would come as a huge turn on—"all of this is so exciting to me" he felt extremely embarrassed as he couldn't find better words to describe it.

Music had accompanied him in every aspect of his life and through every emotion. This didn't necessarily come as a surprise to him, after all it played a huge role in his every day life. But it still was awkward when most people couldn't relate and it most likely just sounded plain weird from an outsider's point of view.

You looked over your shoulder at him and noticed how uncomfortable he was feeling about this, opting to skip the teasing in favor of calming him down. You tilted your head trying to make him look up and he locked eyes with you ashamed.

Your smile was sweet and understanding, you were not judging him. He smiled the smallest shy smile at you and your eyes softened. He could never feel this vulnerable around anyone else, but he felt safe around you. Yoongi hid his face in the crook of your neck bashfully and hugged your waist.

"I love you too, Yoongi. Every little thing about you" you said trying to make him see that you accepted him as a whole. Carefully turning around to face him, you kissed him lovingly as you held his jaw and caressed his cheeks with your fingers. He dug his fingers on your sides still feeling nervous.

"Please get off me" he said not knowing how to process his emotions still. You didn't insist when he wasn't any more relaxed and just got up and laid down on the couch behind him. He only turned around his chair slightly to see you out of the corner of his eye.

"I see you're using your book, I'm glad" you tried to change the subject and clear the tense atmosphere. You saw him smile a side-smile as he nodded. "What is the soundwave you ended up painting on it?" you asked curiously as he had mentioned the original piece was going to have his first thought in the morning on it.

"Your name" he said and turned his face away so you couldn't see him blush. He wasn't sure why he was embarrassed about this exactly. It sounded rather intimate, but he had nothing to hide from you. Getting used to openly sharing everything was hard and he couldn't seem to get used to it easily.

He tried though and hoped that with time it would become more natural to him and would just feel right. Yoongi felt that in a sense it was already, once he shared something with you and had time to sort of internalize it and make it his own, that is. But it didn't come easy at all.
