As the jet was preparing to depart, Yoongi observed as Taehyung talked to his phone like it was his girlfriend. He had found that annoying, since they had left the dorms, he had been on his phone non-stop. Taking pictures, messaging, calling and on video. Truth was though, he felt self-conscious and guilty for not offering that kind of comfort to you.

He just wasn't like his dongsaeng though. They were both experiencing what it was like to leave their girlfriends behind to go on tour for the first time. He pulled out his phone and took a selca waving to the camera for you. "About to depart now" he typed.

His phone beeped only a couple minutes later with your answer, "Have a safe flight to USA! Love you." Boy, how he had messed up mouthing that, he chuckled. All was well now though and he was relieved it could all be fixed before boarding.

Once the plane took off, they had their dinner and most of them settled down for a good night's sleep. Yoongi couldn't really do that, so most of the time he pulled out his laptop and worked, dozing off occasionally.

When it was morning, he sent another photo, of his laptop and papers and the sunrise through the window. This was the kind of photo he sent rather than selcas, though you liked those better because you wanted to see him. "Good morning, jagi" he added.

You were about to go to bed when you received Yoongi's text and you chuckled. He seemed to have forgotten the time difference. "Good night, Yoongi!" you replied and added a photo of the clear starry night sky holding up Shooky in front of the window.

He facepalmed at your reply, of course, it was night in Seoul still. He made a mental note to check the timezone of each place not to disturb you in the middle of the night or too early in the morning. "Right, have a good sleep" he promptly got back to you so you could go to bed.

"That's a pretty sunrise though" you replied with a winking emoji and he felt a little less like an idiot for sending that. They only had a few more hours to get to LA and he would try to get all the sleep he could before preparing for the first concert the next day.

This time they had opted to start abroad and finish in Seoul instead of starting and finishing at the Olympic Stadium. They had to head to the arena in LA in the morning and the staff would start setting everything up while they rehearsed and later made a sound check for the late afternoon.

Having slept clinging onto Shooky you could smell his perfume on your pajamas and your eyes watered. You were not a crier unless you were really upset or really mad, but you were honestly scared of going back to having no one to hug or talk to. It hadn't even been a day and you were already missing him terribly.

You got up to get ready for work and wondered if the band had landed by now. "Are you in Los Angeles?" you messaged him. As he was leaving the airport and getting in the van, he felt his phone buzz in his back pocket and pulled it out as soon as he sat down. "Yep, going to the house now" he typed.

"Can I have a selca?" he read your message and huffed.

"I haven't slept since last night" he protested, but you said you didn't mind. He sighed and decided to ask Taehyung to take a selca of all seven so at least it wouldn't be a close up of his exhausted face.

He happily obliged "Great idea, hyung! Can you send it to me for my girlfriend too?" Tae asked and the older one nodded. After the photo was taken, Yoongi took his phone back and sent the picture to both of you.

"Aw, you all look so happy!" Yoongi looked tired indeed, most of them had wide smiles, but he had a small one. You could understand though, you loved it either way. He smiled at his phone satisfied before putting it away and trying to sleep for the short trip to the house they rented on the outskirts of the city.

You dropped by the coffee shop and got your caramel machiatto to go, heading directly to the office. Your job consisted of writing a small literary column for a magazine. It really was nothing fancy, but as you still had a few years to graduate, you didn't have much to offer on your CV. At least you could work doing something you liked.

"Morning!" your co-worker walked in your office. He was in charge of the sports column of the magazine and he was a nice guy, always friendly with everyone in at work.

"Good morning, Hyunwoo. What's up?" you said not taking your eyes off your computer as you worked on a book review.

"We are organizing an after office party for Friday and I wanted to ask if you were off" you looked up at him, he grinned hoping you'd give him a positive answer. His face was angular and his features were sharp and defined, yet his gaze was soft and kind.

He always styled his hair smartly and wore fitted suits that accentuated his fit and muscular body. He was quiet tall and handsome and had most of the women in the office swooning over him. Surprisingly enough, from what you had heard, he hadn't got involved with anyone. Must be his work ethics, which you could respect.

"Yeah, sure, why not" you said taking the chance of hanging out with new people. It would have been a date night with Yoongi so you were free anyway.

"Awesome" he replied with a wink and walked out of the room skipping happily. You chuckled and went back to your text without giving it a second thought.

A few minutes later you realized you had forgotten to tell Yoongi about the small gift you got for him. "I left a little something for you in the front pocket of your suitcase" Yoongi read and quirked an eyebrow. He got up from his bed where he was trying to fall asleep and opened the zipper of his carrier.

He unwrapped the little item to reveal a small silver stud earring. Upon closer observation, he realized it was not just shaped like a ring, the center was carved in the shape of a cat's head rather than a circle.

Yoongi read the note that came with it trying to find an explanation "I read your fans call you Lil Meow Meow. I thought that was cute, so I got you this so I can be with you when you're on stage. It was the most discreet I could find, I wanted something you'd actually wear" he smiled to himself feeling moved. He appreciated the thought, he didn't like wearing anything too flashy.

He immediately put it on and looked at it in the mirror before taking a photo of his profile to share with you. "You'll be with me every day" he wrote and sent the message with the picture attached.

Aww, how cute was he, you thought enthralled by his text. You replied with lots of heart emojis. He didn't include them in his messages in general, but you knew he was always amused by your use of them. The exaggeration would certainly make him smile.

You were thrilled he had liked your present, you had to look really close to tell what it really was. You stared at his handsome profile for a bit, how you'd miss cupping those cheeks and kissing those soft pink lips. A knock on your open door distracted you from your daydreaming.

It was one of the girls in the office, the one who was in charge of the section for the latest trends, one of the most popular parts among readers. "Hyunwoo-ssi told me you're coming on Friday, I was surprised!" Eunjung exclaimed with genuine excitement. You'd never really attended any office parties, you'd always been either exhausted or busy with your classes.

"Yeah, I'm glad I'm free this time!" you smiled back at her.

"Some of the girls and I are getting together a few hours earlier at my place to do our make up and chat if you want to come" she invited you and you smiled brightly accepting.

That sounded nice, it would be cool to learn some more about make up, you liked your signature smoky eyes, but a change from time to time would be welcome.

"Perfect! I'll text you my address shortly, drop by any time after work" she flashed one last smile and went back to her desk. You were happy plans had made themselves without you even trying.

"I'm trying to eat in peace, I don't want to say hi to your girlfriend" - Yoongi probably

I might have messed up with the time difference, but I did my best. A flight from Seoul to LA is over 11 hrs. and the time difference is 16 hours (South Korea being ahead). As the plane flies across timezones my brain just shut down when I attempted to figure that out.
