Every day that week, after you got out of work and the rest of the band left, you sneaked in the Genius Lab with dinner, or else he would not eat, and kept Yoongi company as he worked until late.

He felt quite low for a few days and he kept saying it would pass eventually, though you weren't sure that was the best way to deal with it. You didn't feel like you could tell him how to deal with his own feelings though so you didn't say anything.

You sat on his lap, your legs hanging from the sides of the chair, head on his chest and arms around his waist. He looked over your shoulder at the screen, his arms shifting as he moved them reaching out to the different controls. You yawned.

"Should we go sleep?" you asked. He kissed the top of your head absentmindedly.

"I just need a little bit longer" he said softly as your ear was only a few inches away. It took a while, he felt you fall asleep as your breathing became softer and your hold around him lost strength. He leaned back on his chair after turning his computer off for the night.

"Hey, wake up" he whispered shaking your shoulder lightly and chuckling at your immobile dead weight. He rolled his chair to the sofa and carefully moved you over from his lap. He got up and started putting stuff back in his backpack as you continued to sleep unaware.

He grabbed a cushion and lightly hit you with it. You woke up startled at the strange object. "Sorry" he said in between giggles surprised "I didn't think it was that hard!" You glared at him and pulled it out of his hands to throw it at his face, he didn't even try to cover himself.

"Okay, I deserve that. But I swear I tried the nice way!" he tried to repress his laugh as you looked annoyed. You couldn't help but smile amused at the sight, it was impossible to keep a straight face when he had been down all week.

Yoongi took your hand in his after throwing his backpack over his shoulder and you walked out of the studio, walking down the dark empty hallways of the company. You looked up at his profile, his features accentuated by the moonlight that came in through the windows.

He looked down at you with a side smile and kissed your forehead before looking ahead once more.

"Do you have to work nights much longer?" he cleared his throat awkwardly at your question. Did he absolutely have to? No, but he had accidentally found a way to get his mind off things by working on his music and being comforted by your presence at the same time. One day you had brought him food late at night and had stayed until he was done and that's when it started.

"You don't have to come every night" he said feeling guilty that you had come see him every single day of the week.

"But you've been struggling" you replied and he felt exposed. He didn't mind being vulnerable around you though, you knew how to make him feel better and didn't force him to say anything he wasn't ready to say. He couldn't not blush though.

"Still. I've dealt with this for a while on my own just fine" he mumbled. He did, he managed without anyone and it was okay. You squeezed his hand and he looked at you once more.

"You don't have to be alone now" you smiled sweetly and his heart skipped a beat when your words sank in. He stopped abruptly and you looked back at him with furrowed eyebrows, being a step ahead. Yoongi pulled you into a strong hug and wrapped his arms around your neck, covering his face as he silently cried on your shoulder. You rubbed his back softly.

He had tried to hold back multiple times throughout the week, but he couldn't take it anymore. He could never cry in peace with the cameras around, he had had to hide in bathrooms not to be caught in the past. It's not like he cried often anyway, but he did his best so it wasn't in front of others and it's not like they didn't know anyway.

He pulled back looking down and running his hand through his eyes. He saw you pull something out of your pocket and then you extended a hand to his with a tissue.

"I had to return the favor one day, right?" he could hear the smile on your tone and chuckled remembering that day when it was you who was crying. "Do you feel better now?" you asked and he nodded. He finally looked up at you after drying his face, his eyes were still glassy but his gaze was softer.

You put your hands on his cheeks and cupped them, pressing a soft kiss on his lips. I already love you, his heart clenched at his thought. He briefly kissed you back and when you pulled back he took your hand again and you made your way out of the building. Heading back to your place.

As weeks passed, Yoongi felt better and went back to feeling like his usual self. That's usually how it worked with episodes like this, but it had obviously been different with you insisting to be by his side. He resisted at times, just because he felt guilty about it, but you somehow saw right through him.

Yoongi woke up one morning feeling your whole weight on his curled up form in bed. He groaned annoyed, "what are you doing?" Your face came closer to his and he pulled his head back, he was too drowsy for this.

"It's been a while" you whispered and his heart dropped and started racing. He played dumb.

"Mm?" he hummed feigning confusion and hoping you'd somehow give up on the idea.

"You know what I mean" you said sensually and he swallowed. You playfully tried to pull the covers off but he held them tight not letting you. Maybe he needed to wear pajamas to sleep after all, he briefly reconsidered.

"Stop it" he growled but you wouldn't let go. "I'm not in the mood" the words finally came out of his mouth in a higher tone than he intended and you immediately stopped and moved to a side.

"I'm sorry...I thought maybe you..." you trailed off sounding hurt and he turned to look at you. You were sitting there with your arms wrapped around your legs and the expression on your face made him feel uneasy even if he couldn't necessarily identify it.

"Do I look okay to you?" you asked softly and his eyes widened. No, please, this is not your fault, he thought alarmed. He pulled the covers down to his waist and moved closer to you, pulling you into a desperate hug.

"It's not about you, you're everything I want" he said softly and you blushed at his choice of words. You had been trying to get closer to him, but he kept pushing you away when he could tell what you wanted. It was starting to make you feel self-conscious, it was not just this one time he didn't feel like it.

"What's wrong then?" you questioned him. His eyebrows furrowed and he swallowed as he pulled back to look in your eyes.

"Me. I'm the problem" he looked down ashamed.

"No, you're not. Isn't it obvious that I want you too?" you said confused and he chuckled.

"You've made that pretty clear early on" he was quick to brush that thought away with a smirk and you blushed knowing exactly what he was referring to. "And I like that, I do" he said shyly and kissed your neck. Taking a deep breath he continued "there's just, too much going on with me and I'm not ever in that mindset" he shared hoping you could understand.

"Can I help spark your interest?" you said tracing his features with your fingers "attempt to take your mind off things, get you in the right headspace" your eyes followed your hand along his jaw as you spoke. His heartbeats sped up, but it wasn't the anxiety this time."If it's not working for you, then you tell me to stop" you looked up at him expectantly, reassuring him as you brushed his cheek with your fingertips.

As he felt the pressure ease a bit with your words, he leaned into you as he carefully placed his hands on your neck and stopped just before your lips touched. "I mean, you can try" he said in a low and husky voice before closing the space between your mouths, kissing you slowly and deeply.
