The next morning Yoongi opened his eyes and saw you sleeping next to him. For a moment he had forgotten he was at your place. He smiled to himself, this felt so nice. He wished it wasn't Monday, he turned on his back and huffed in frustration. It seemed like all he did was wishing lately, but he was confident he'd find a balance.

Getting up, he made some coffee. He poured two mugs and left one for you on the table with a note explaining that he had to leave for work early and couldn't stay to have breakfast with you. He had to drop by the dorms to pick his stuff up and head to the studio. There was a photoshoot today and they had to start planning the stops of the tour.

You woke up and walked in the kitchen feeling sad Yoongi wasn't there. But you soon found his note and the mug he left waiting for you. You smiled at the gesture and reheated the coffee as it had gone cold, it looked like he'd been gone for a while judging by its temperature.

Yoongi's phone beeped and he unlocked it to find a message from you thanking him for the coffee and wishing him a good day at work. A warm smile drew itself on his face, he was glad you had liked that. It was the least he could do if he couldn't be around when you woke up.

Last night's talk had been very good, he thought. You knew what he needed and you told him what you needed and now things were going to be different. You'd really have a chance to see if things could work out between the two of you. He really hoped they would, he had grown quite fond of you.

In an effort to stay in touch, he found little things to associate messaging you with. Every time he crossed something off his list, when someone laughed, whenever he got a cup of coffee, and he got multiple throughout the day, he'd think of you and text you. If he didn't know what to say, he just sent a a photo not to skip the opportunity.

You seemed to be pleased about this, because it never took long for you to reply. Your interaction as usual involved a lot of you and just a bit of him, but he liked it that way. It was a nice talker and listener dynamic and you complemented nicely. He knew he could talk to you if he needed to and you'd listen, unless you were mad, he thought and chuckled.

The next couple of weeks Yoongi stayed more than once a week at your place now that he knew he could just crash there. It would soon be two months since you'd started dating and you hadn't gone on a proper date in about a month now.

You were both frustrated about the lack of time, Yoongi more than you could tell. He knew it was important, sure you wanted to see him and didn't mind having some dinner and sleeping. But that didn't mean you had just given up on dates altogether. He wanted to give back to you for being so understanding and loving about everything.

It was right around the time of the comeback that things had started to get more complicated and he had been observing how you handled things since then. After your talk and his attempt to work around his schedule to be and communicate with you, he paid special attention to anything improving or declining.

This sounded cold and calculating, but it's because he cared about you that he wanted to make sure you could follow his lifestyle. If there weren't any chances of you adapting, then he wouldn't take the next step. You'd be better off with someone else that didn't have such a convoluted life.

This was his rational mind, but his heart was all over the place. If this didn't work out, he'd be devastated. But he couldn't keep you around if that would upset you, make you feel unhappy, lonely or hurt. Your frustration seemed to ease a little these last two weeks that he messaged you more and stayed over.

Yoongi was taking you out for dinner tonight and he was extremely nervous, it wasn't just going to be one more date. He found himself going through his closet once more, when he wanted to stop caring about what he wore, he had to go back to picking his outfit carefully. It would be nice for a stylist to just do it for him right now.

His stylist, that's it. He tried to recall one of his stage outfits. He went over each piece in his head as he pulled out something similar. Skinny jeans, the black ones with a silverish glow. White v-neck shirt. Black buttonless blazer. Black shoes and belt. Ditch the choker and replace for earrings. Perfect, he thought as he looked at the whole look laid out on the bed.

He quickly showered and changed into his clothes. Yoongi fixed his blazer in front of the mirror as Jimin walked past his open door.

"Yoongi hyung, what is with the Blood, Sweat & Tears look?" he said smiling amused. The older one shot back a look and raised an eyebrow. Was that really the stage outfit he recalled? He hesitated for a second but figured there was no harm in asking, "Does it look off?" he inquired feeling unsure.

Jimin shook his head no, "no, not at all. I was just curious" he replied and smiled warmly once more. Yoongi nodded with a small smile and the younger one walked off. Why was he all dressed up? That was certainly strange. At least he wasn't locked inside and was going out, he thought, he was glad.

He drove to your place to pick you up, his heart was going to jump out of his chest. The loud thuds banged in his ears. After he parked and texted you to come down, he shut his eyes tightly and brought his hand to his sweaty forehead. Yoongi tried to steady his agitated breathing. It had been so long since he had been a nervous wreck.

It had been when you had intercepted him, he recalled. He had been trying to walk away and now it was quite the opposite, it was about getting even closer to you. Yoongi opened his eyes when he heard the clicking of heels against the sidewalk and straightened himself.

You wore tight fitting dark blue jeans, classic black high heels, a loose grape colored flowy top that delicately fell from your shoulders and a formal black leather jacket. You had silver dangle earrings and a short necklace that accentuated your neckline nicely. Your make up was softer, but it looked really sexy and had a soft golden shimmer to it that blended with your skin.

Today is not the day to hold back, he encouraged himself as you got in the passenger's seat. When you turned to look at him he just talked without thinking a second longer "You look beautiful tonight" he gulped as he felt the heat raise to his face and his cheeks burn.

You smiled brightly, but looked down shyly averting his gaze which he did his best to keep on yours. He turned on his side to better look at you and smiled a small nervous smile. You looked up at him and noticed his collarbones as his neckline was unusually exposed. You blushed.

His whole look was more formal and bolder than usual. You shouldn't be surprised because he told you to dress accordingly, but you felt flustered at the sight of him dressing more sensually. Yoongi was clearly oblivious to the effect this had, because he was not like this.

You smiled bashfully "you look incredibly handsome yourself" you said. You had realized that the little compliments really helped with his self-esteem, so you kept them up. You loved it when he felt more confident after all, so it was a win-win situation really.

He chuckled and smirked smugly, his face probably bright red, but that meant he had picked the right clothes and he was pleased. Yoongi needed every bit of help he could get tonight if he wanted it all to go as expected. He quickly dropped the face and swallowed hard as he remembered his plan for the night.

-

Fun fact: Yoongi was uncomfortable with this type of choreography so it took him longer to get the more sensual moves down for Blood, Sweat and Tears.
