Yoongi put his hands in his pockets as he walked and felt something, he pulled out a folded napkin and opened it curiously. He was not a stranger to writing reminders and ideas wherever he could when they came to his mind. He opened it to find your phone number and frowned. "Thanks for the reminder" he growled at no one. He crumpled it ready to throw it out at the nearest trash bin.

He passed one trash bin and couldn't do it. He hated himself for that, so he intently looked for another one. Without thinking twice, he threw out the paper and sped up his pace. While he was waiting for the traffic lights to change, he couldn't stay still as he nervously thought about what he had just done. He had an internal fight over what to do next.

"This is ridiculous" he mumbled to himself once more and turned around, going back to where he just came from.

"Yoongi?" your voice stopped him just as he was about to reach the bin. Was he really going to shove his hand in there? He couldn't believe himself. He turned around with a stern but unbothered face, this was not the time for his feelings to get in the way.

"Hi Yoongi " you said with a hopeful smile and his heart broke a little. He noticed he was right in front of the coffee shop and you'd probably seen him as you sat by the window like he does.

"Can we talk, please?" you asked softly with knitted eyebrows. Yoongi licked his lips absentmindedly as he considered the possibility. Maybe if everything ended in a good note, he would be able to go on without putting as much effort into it as he did now.

Holding his cold countenance, he nodded once and walked in the coffee shop after you. You silently waited while he got his order and then he followed you to your table. He took a seat and fixed his eyes on yours fiercely. His stare was daunting, you gulped.

"I believe I owe you an apology for not having let you speak that day" you began and he only furrowed his eyebrows. "I listened to the tracks and I love them so much, they express my feelings perfectly and that makes me feel" he looked at your entranced smile and sparkly eyes as you tried to find the words while gesturing with your hands.

He had to keep himself from smiling at how endearing this was to him. People being passionate really moved him as he could identify with that strong feeling towards his passion. It didn't matter what people were drawn to, it's just the overall aura that did it for him.

"I'm speechless, I don't know, it's just perfect. They've inspired me to write a lot this last month and a half " you shared with a big smile and his heart broke a little more at the idea that he had inspired you as you had inspired him.

"Well, I'm glad" he finally said dryly.

"I never showed your writing or my music to anyone, just so you know" he added remembering your baseless accusations. You pressed your lips together as you felt guilt consume you. "I respect people's work and I'd never violate any conditions or claim their ideas" he sounded very business like right now and you could feel the distance he was putting between you two.

"Sometimes I just wish I could be myself, just me, for a little bit" he said softly, but you heard him clearly. You looked at him with a small pout on your face, he had looked down the second he said that.

"I'm so sorry for jumping to all these conclusions and being such a bitch about it" you apologized for your attitude at last and he bit his lip not to chuckle at your choice of words.

"If you'll excuse me, I need to get to work" he said averting your gaze, you assumed there was some more time as he used to come by the café and stay until later than what the time was right now. He got up and turned on his heel and, as he was walking away, you caught his upper arm and he looked over his shoulder surprised.

He turned to face you and in your grasp, he was closer to you than he had ever been. This made his heartbeats resound in his ears making them impossible to miss. Yoongi looked in your eyes trying to find any sort of emotion, but he was not good with that, he didn't know how to read people.

He admired the features of your face for a second, your nose, your cheeks, your skin, your lips, your eyelashes and then fixed his eyes on yours once more. You saw as his eyes darted and then he made eye contact again. He looked mad as he was scowling still and he was cold. You weren't sure what to say, you just wanted him to stay for a little longer.

Yoongi unexpectedly leaned in a stole a kiss from you, it was light and sweet. It didn't last long, but it felt caring and sincere. He pulled back and when he saw the disconcerted look on your face and felt you let go of his arm in shock, he knew you didn't have feelings for him like he did. He shut his eyes tightly feeling stupid and embarrassed, he turned around and bolted out.

He panicked as he didn't know what to do and he wasn't about to start running and he went into a shop and wasted some time in it, glancing over at the shop windows from time to time hoping you weren't following him. Why would you follow him? He was being irrational.

Why the hell had he done that? For a second there he thought he just needed to know if he was doing the right thing and that moment was enough to throw everything he had been working for out the window. And instead of making it easier for himself, he had made it harder because he had mistakenly thought you acted around him a certain way because you felt similarly.

Yoongi caught a glimpse of you and held an item closer to his face as he observed you. You had gone out looking for him in the end, he thought feeling confused. You assumed he couldn't have gone far away, but he was nowhere to be seen as you spun around looking in every direction.

You slumped your shoulders defeated and walked back to the coffee shop. Yoongi put back the item on display and walked closer to the window. That doesn't mean he likes you like you like her, he told himself in his head and sighed. It meant nothing else other than he had been an idiot and he should have not walked back in that direction.

He hadn't even noticed it was the block of the coffee shop, but all of this happened because he couldn't leave that napkin in the trash. It was simple and he messed up, which led to him making even bigger mistakes.

After a couple minutes he left the shop and speed-walked to the studio. Beating himself up along the way about the fact that he had been doing so well and he had slipped letting his feelings take over for one damn second. That was enough to ruin everything.

He practically barked at Jungkook when he greeted him as he saw him going to his studio and the maknae's eyes widened in confusion. It was not only Hobi and Namjoon who had witnessed his frustration first hand now. He had his moments of being in a foul mood, but somehow this felt different.
