Isn't love amazing? Love is amazing! Every time you looked at Derek Morgan you felt loved and in love. He was the perfect man. Tall, handsome, caring. The list goes on. When you walked in on your first day he was the first face you saw. And you never forgot it. A few months went by and you started dating. Then another few months you were married. And now two years after you first met the love of your life you found out you were pregnant. You were getting ready for what you hoped would be a peaceful day at the office when you felt sick. Throwing up you immediately thought about the possibility of a baby. You and Derek had talked about kids. You agreed you wanted a family but not yet. Well that was changing. You looked at the test and smiled. A baby. Derek's baby was inside you. You were so distracted in your thoughts you didn't notice your husband knocking on the bathroom door.
"Let's go baby girl. Stop worrying about the make up you are perfect." You could hear the smirk. You put the test behind your back and opened the door with a big smile. "Oh no. What did you do baby girl? What's that smile for?"
"I love you."
"I love you too. Now what are you hiding?" Always profiling. You giggle and show him the test. "Is this... are you... really?"
"We're gonna have a baby!" You say with a smile. He picked you up and kisses you while twirling you around. "Let's go we have work." You quickly remind him and both of you run out the door.
Once you walk in the bright and bubbly Penelope Garcia pulls away. You wouldn't say you were her assistant. But you were.
"Okay sidekick. Today's pictures are icky and since you are weird and can handle looking at icky stuff you get to present today's case." She handed you the paper work to look over.
"Pen these aren't bad."
"They don't have noses or eyes (Y/N)! Icky." She shakes her head and you both go to the conference room where you give the agents their case.
"I love you baby." Derek kissed you before he left, the case was in South Dakota.
"Are you talking to me or little Morgan?" You giggle as he rubs your flat tummy.
"Both. Be careful. Don't over work."
"I won't. Now go. Don't want to miss the jet." You smile as he leaves. Then Pen calls into 'the cave'.
"Don't lie to me. I know what I just heard!" Her eyes were sparkling and she was bouncing on her toes.
"Pen you see me and Derek kiss goodbye at least once a week."
"Yes but I don't see the sweetness that is Derek Morgan rubbing your tummy. That can only mean one thing. There's a baby in there."
"I'm guessing you claim godmother?"
"Yes! Please! Can I? Baby!" She smiles and sits down. "Don't worry about over working. I'll take most things. Do you want to go home and rest?"
"I'm fine Pen. Let's work." You roll your eyes jokingly.

*nine months later.*
"Any day now sidekick. How's little Morgan?" Penelope came up behind you.
"Baby is doing good. Baby enjoys kicking me but that's all good. And baby missed daddy." You and Derek decided not to tell the team that the baby was a girl. She was going to be a surprise.
"Well don't worry little Morgan daddy will be here in 2 hours." She patted your bump and smiled when the baby kicked in reply. You spent the next hour doing basically nothing. The team had just finished their case and were now on the jet home. You were in the middle of deciding if you really want to go to the vending machine for a granola bar or if that was too much walking when Baby decided she wanted to be born.
"Penelope." You said calmly so she wouldn't freak.
"(Y/N)." She turned her chair to look at you.
"It's time. Baby coming." She immediately jumped up and helped you to her car. On the way to the hospital you called Derek.
"Almost home (Y/N). Less then an hour. How's little Morgan?"
"Little Morgan decided today is a great day to be born."
"What? Really? Did I miss it?"
"No. But you should probably come straight to the hospital."
"I will. I love you baby. I love you so much." You hang up and walk slowly into the hospital. The doctor set you up in a room and now it was a waiting game. Then the door opened and your wonderful husband walked in.
"I'll take it from here honey." Penelope stood up and gave him her chair next to you. "Soon. Our little one will be here soon." He held your hand and kisses your forehead. And a few minutes later it was time to push and then a loud cry was heard.
"It's a girl. Congratulations." The nurse cleaned her up and wrapped the baby in a pink blanket handing her to you before the doctor and nurse leave.
"Hi there. Aren't you precious?" You looked down at the little girl. She stared up at you with eyes the same shade of brown as her daddy's.
"Daddy's little girl." Derek smiled and touched her small hand softly. "There's some people out there wanting to meet you."
"Oh right... bring them in." You smiled as he opens the door letting the team in.
"Pink. Pink is girl. Goddaughter!" Penelope was the first to get a look at her.
"Jack and Henry will be upset." JJ smiled at the little girl.
"My baby girl will run circles around those boys." Derek gently took her from your arms. She was passed around so everyone could hold her.
"What's her name?" Her godfather Spencer asked as he held her.
"Lacey Rose Morgan." You tell them and take your baby back. Everyone agreed the name was perfect and soon left you and Derek alone with your baby girl.
"I love you." He kissed you and then Lacey. "And daddy loves you."
You were very happy with your new little family.
