The next day wasn't anything special, although Alex wasn't at school with his other officers and I was pretty happy about that, nothing was special about it. If only he would stay away from Olivia then I wouldn't have anything to worry about.

Thursday came and I knew that it was the day for our trip to the art museum, and Matt was beyond excited. He wouldn't shut up the whole night before and I didn't get any sleep.

We had to go to Miss Shuler's room first thing so that we could all get counted and get on the bus. There wasn't a bunch of people in our art class but everyone showed up today. I guess they all wanted to go visit the museum.

When we were sitting there waiting for Miss Shuler to give further instructions, someone walked in the door and when I seen them, my stomach started knotting up.

Alex walked in and smiled at everyone as he made his way to Miss Shuler's desk. I was in the far back so I couldn't hear what they were saying, but the look on her face told me that she didn't like what he was saying.

After a moment, she stood up and looked at the class, "Alright class, it appears that Mr. Alex will be joining us on our trip,"

I heard everyone groan and that boy, Billy, threw his canvas down on the ground.

Miss Shuler told him to pick it up but he refused. I thought it was funny and I tried to hold in my laugh as I heard Matt chuckle beside me.

After a minute, everyone was instructed to go to the bus. We all walked out of the classroom and out of the school where there was a bus out front waiting for us.

Matt and I sat in the very back, along with Billy and a few more people. I thought it was funny because nobody was sitting close to the front where Alex and Olivia was seated.

The whole ride there I kept looking towards the front to see Alex and Olivia talking and it made me feel sick to know that he could act all nice to her when he treats her like shit and gets away with it.

Matt nudged me and I looked over at him, "Stop looking," he pointed out the window, "Look outside instead,"

I stared outside for a moment then looked at him, "Yes, Matthew, I love looking at trees go by," I rolled my eyes and looked back at the front and seen Alex looking back here.

Our eyes met and I stared at him with such hatred. He smiled at me and purposely scooted closer to Olivia, which she didn't take so kindly as she scooted over away from him.

Billy spoke and broke me out of my daze, "I think this is bullshit," everyone looked at him as he was sitting up in the seat looking at everyone. "Who else thinks this is pure bullshit?"

"With that police man?" a girl spoke and Billy nodded as everyone agreed.

"I think it's because he misses the pussy," another boy said and everyone started laughing, including me. "I mean, what else is the reason? I'm pretty sure Samantha and Miss Shuler isn't doing what he's accusing them of doing," everyone nodded.

Billy spoke, "I think he's pissed cause he can't hit that anymore," he shrugged as everyone laughed.

Everyone was talking the rest of the ride and it was funny to know that they hated Alex just as much as I did.

We made it to the museum and everyone was excited as we all got off the bus and walked into the building. Matt and I stayed together as everyone was in their own little group.

Alex was walking behind everyone as Olivia was walking in front. It felt weird to have him behind us because I knew he was watching us like a damn hawk.

Olivia explained everything as we passed by and some of them was pretty interesting. Matt wasn't paying much attention and I was confused because he was so excited last night.

I looked over at him, "Are you ok?" he looked at me and nodded. "Then why aren't you excited like you were last night?"

He sighed, "Because this isn't what I want to see. I want to see the famous shit, not this boring shit," I chuckled as he stared at me, "I'm serious," he looked around for a moment until he looked back at me, "Let's ditch the group and go look around ourselves,"

I stared at him, "Seriously?" I looked over at Olivia as she was talking about something and she wasn't paying attention. I looked back and seen Alex wasn't nowhere around us. I looked back at Matt then nodded and he smiled then grabbed my hand and pulled me off somewhere.

We looked around until we found this painting and Matt stopped in front of it. I stared at him, "Is this what you wanted to see?" I stared at the painting and immediately knew that it was The Scream that he was talking about the other day.

He nodded, "Yes, I love this painting," he stared at it and I watched in amazement as he was so intrigued by it.

After a minute, we heard someone behind us, "What are you doing?" we both turned around to see Alex standing there looking at us.

Matt pointed at the painting, "We're looking at art,"

"Why aren't you with the rest of the class?"

Matt chuckled, "You aren't our teacher," he stared at him. "Should that be Miss Shuler's concern?"

Alex didn't say anything else as he walked off and left us laughing. We didn't stay there though because no doubt that he's probably going to tell Miss Shuler about our disappearance.

We walked through the different rooms until we found our class. Alex wasn't nowhere in sight, so we slipped in and got behind everyone as Miss Shuler was explaining something.

She never knew that we left as she was walking us around and talking about the different art. I tried to act like I was interested but I wasn't because all I could focus on was Olivia.

I stared at her as she was talking about something and I really just wanted to run to her. I wanted to feel her touch so bad that my heart ached for her.

It was hard not being able to do that in public but I knew that we had until I graduated and we could finally be together for real without any problems.

I couldn't wait for that day because I honestly just wanted to be with her, and it was killing me to know that we couldn't really be together until she was no longer my teacher.

Don't get me wrong, I love the little moments that I do get to spend with her, but I would like to go out in public with her and show her off, because honestly, I want everyone to know that she belongs to me.

As I was staring at her, I couldn't help but think about Alex and how stupid he is. He's ruining her life because he knows what would happen if he finds out about us and gets the police involved, and I don't understand why he wants to do that. They're divorced, is that why? Because they're no longer together? I'm pretty sure the reason for their divorce is because he abuses her, and that's his fault.

If only the police could see Alex abusing her, then he would be put in jail and would be out of the picture for good. I'm not sure if Miss Shuler wants to go to the police, because after all this time of him abusing her, why hasn't she? It's clear that she's afraid of what he might do if she turns him in, but he'll be put in jail, so he can't hurt her anymore.

But, if she won't do it, then I would have to find a way. But how?

As I'm standing there with my class, ignoring everything Miss Shuler was saying, an idea pops into my head and I immediately knew that I could get away with this.

I looked over at Matt and smiled, "Hey," he looked at me. "Do you have your cellphone with you?"

He nodded, "Yeah, it's in my locker at school, why?"

I smiled, "I'm going to need to borrow it tonight," he gave me a confused look but I just smiled, "Don't worry, you'll get it back soon,"

"I don't know what you're planning on doing, but just be careful," I nodded as I smiled at him. He knew me all too well, and he knew what was running through my head.

I just hope this doesn't backfire.

We got back to school around the afternoon. We all ate lunch out somewhere as everyone brought their own money. I didn't know because I never got a paper, but apparently it said to bring money for food.

I was exhausted by the time we got back. I was tired and ready for the last bell to ring. It was about thirty minutes left of school, and that meant that we were all in art class right now.

As we left the bus, we all went to the classroom, but on the way, I stopped at Matt's locker and grabbed his phone. After that, I went to the classroom and sat down as Miss Shuler was making her way to her desk and Alex was right behind her and I could not wait until I had the chance to bust his ass.

Miss Shuler told us to have free time until the bell rung and everyone immediately went to talking. I was watching Miss Shuler from my seat and I couldn't help but think about when this is all over, we can finally be together.

Only one more month.

Alex pulled up a chair next to her desk and was talking to her, and it took everything in me not to run up and punch him in the face.

Matt and I talked a little until the bell rung, and when it did ring, I felt my heart start hammering as I was getting up. My eyes never left Miss Shuler as I watched Alex get up and walk to the door. I prayed he would go ahead and leave but he stood next to the door and watched everyone leave.

If he's in here, I couldn't talk to Miss Shuler.

I looked at Matt as he was pulling his backpack over his shoulder, "Matt, I need a favor," he looked at me and I looked over at Alex then at Matt, "I need you to get Alex out of this room so that I can talk to Miss Shuler,"

He looked over at him for a moment then looked back at me and nodded, "No problem, give me a second," I nodded and watched as he made his way to Alex and started talking to him.

Then, all of a sudden, Matt grabbed Alex's hat and ran out of the room as Alex was chasing him. I stood there in complete shock until I finally snapped out of my daze and went to Miss Shuler's desk.

She was grabbing some things from her desk and didn't even see what just happened. I stood in front of her desk and watched her for a minute, "Olivia," she looked up and met my eyes. "I was wondering if I could come over to your house this afternoon," she stared at me until her eyes left mine and wandered over to the door.

She looked back at me, "I don't think that's such a good idea,"

"Please?" I begged. I had to get her to say yes, or my plan was not going to work.

After a minute, she gave in and told me to get Matt to bring me by, incase Alex was watching. She also said that if Alex's car was there when I got there, to not stop.

But, I wasn't going to listen, because I was hoping Alex would be there.

After Miss Shuler left the school, I found Matt outside at his car and I smiled at him, "I never knew you were a rebel,"

He chuckled as he unlocked his car, "That was terrifying,"

We got in and I looked at him, "What happened?" I sat my backpack at my feet and watched as he started the engine.

"After he caught me, he threatened me not to do it again and he got in his car and left," he chuckled. "That was like the funniest shit I've ever experience,"

We left the parking lot and I told Matt to take me by Miss Shuler's and he nodded as he drove. He asked what I was planning on doing but all I told him was that I had a plan to bust Alex, and that I wasn't saying anything else.

He told me to be careful and not get hurt, but that won't be necessary because I knew that he wouldn't hurt me if he didn't see me.

As soon as we pulled up, I told Matt bye and walked to the front door. I was nervous but I pushed that aside as I opened the door and walked in.

I found Olivia in the kitchen and I walked in and made myself known. She was looking on the back of a box and I couldn't help but admire her from where I was standing. "What are you making?" I watched as she jumped a little and I chuckled.

"Geez, Sam, you scared the hell out of me,"

I chuckled, "I seem to always do," I smiled at her as I walked over and leaned against the counter. "So, are you going to answer my question?"

She put the box down and faced me, "I'm making chicken alfredo," I nodded as she stared at me.

"That's cool, but um," I looked over at the box then back at her, "Do you really need to read on the back of the box to know how to boil the noodles?" I chuckled as she rolled her eyes.

"Very funny. No, I was looking on the back to see what some other recipes were that went with it," I nodded and watched her as she crossed her arms and leaned againest the counter behind her. "I don't usually cook because Alex always did," she looked down for a minute and I felt bad for her.

I walked to her and grabbed her arms, "It's ok. You don't need an asshole who doesn't appreicate you, or abuses you," she looked up and met my eyes and I smiled at her.

"You have me," I stared at her as she was staring back and I felt my heart pound in my chest as she grabbed my waist and pulled me to her.

Our lips were dangerously close and I knew she heard my heart race as I was waiting in anticipation for our lips to finally meet. I stared into her eyes as she was looking into mine and I couldn't be more in love with this woman in front of me.

Our lips connected and I felt a spark as I do everytime when we kiss. It was magical and I couldn't explain even if I tried. All I know is that when you kiss someone and you feel butterflies erupt in your stomach and your heart hammers in your chest, you know you're in love and you know that this person is the one for you.

I nibbled on her lip and she chuckled against mine. She pulled back and stared at me as I stared at her. She tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and smiled at me. "You're something else, Sam,"

I smiled at her and pecked her lips once more before I heard knocking at the door. I pulled back and stared at her as she looked at me. I felt my heart start pounding as the knocks kept coming.

I knew who it was, and I was ready.

I told Olivia that I would be hiding and I ran out of the kitchen and into the living room closet again. I left the door slightly ajar and I waited.

When I heard the door shut, I knew that this was about to happen and I was beyond ready for it. I just prayed that it would go through and not fall apart.

I looked out the door and saw Alex walk into the living with Olivia behind him. He stopped and turned around to face her, "I came by to ask you if you have seen Samantha," Olivia looked at him with confusion and so did I.

"No, I haven't. Why?" I wanted to know too. Why the hell was he looking for me?

"The station wants her in to ask her some questions," oh.

She shook her head, "No, I haven't seen her except for today at school,"

He nodded, "She lives with Matthew Bridges now, right?" she nodded. "I thought so. See, I went by there but she wasn't there. Matthew said she was out with another friend, but didn't give me any information," thanks Matthew, I owe you.

She shrugged, "Well, I don't know her whereabouts,"

He nodded but stepped closer to her. I started feeling my heart race as I slowly reached in my pocket and pulled out Matt's phone. I hide it so the brightness wouldn't be showing as I tried to find the video recorder.

I opened the app and held the phone up through the crack of the door and waited for my que. I watched as Alex stood a foot away from Olivia and I could see the fear in her eyes.

"Olivia, I don't like being lied to and you know that," he grabbed her wrist.

Not yet.

"We've been married for how long?" he paused but she never answered. "Long enough for you to know that I hate liars and I know when someone is lying to me. So, I'm going to ask you again, where is your fuck buddy,"

Olivia tried to break free but couldn't, "I don't know and there's nothing going between us," she kept trying to get out of his grasp but he was gripping her wrist.

The next move he did had me pressing that record button as soon as it happened.

He slapped her across the face and I gritted my teeth as I watched through the phone. I couldn't bare watching this, but I knew that it was all about to come falling down.

"Stop lying to me!" he gripped her neck and was inches from her face. "Don't fucking lie to me, Olivia. I know you know where she is, so tell me or else!" I was afraid what 'or else' meant, but there was nothing I could do.

She started crying and gripping his arm to losen his grip, "I don't know!" this was getting too much for me to watch. I don't know how long I could stand here.

After a second of her struggling, he finally let her go and she started gasping for air as she was bent over. He sighed but didn't say anything else as he walked around her and out the door.

I stopped the recording and stared down at the phone as I stared at the play button to start the video.

I smiled, "Got ya, asshole,"
