Sorry for not publishing in quite some time. I wanted to publish on Tuesday last week but I had an all week long camp to do so clearly no time for it. 🤷‍♀️ But it's here finally

9 months later;

You: Colby, I don't have time in my schedule to see you in the summer...

Colby sighed through the phone as he accepted this fact and would just have to wait longer to see you again.

You: I know it's only March and I know my summer schedule but you know we can still call each other like we've been doing for 9 months.

Colby: I know but I miss that beautiful, wonderful face and personality of yours in person. I only get to see it on the phone. I don't get to kiss you, hug you or-

You: Okay okay, I get it.

You laugh

You: You know that I wish the same Colby

As Colby chuckled through the phone, Colby's door opened to reveal a blonde boy with a huge smile on his face, one you haven't seen in quite some time.

Sam: Hey Colbs you ready?

And indeed Sam's face was the look of him ready to go do something. Colby turned to see Sam standing at his own doorway.

Colby: Uhh yea but before we go, I know you and y/n haven't talked in quite some time and I just so happen to be on the phone with her again why don't you two say hey to each other.

Sam's face lit up as he heard the mention of your name and pulled himself over to where Colby was so you were able to see Sam more clearly. Seems like Sam was more excited for the call than Colby was but excitement filled both rooms cause both of you haven't seen each other for a while. Sure you've heard Colby talk about the roommates, Sam especially, but you're happy that you're finally able to hear Sam's actual voice.

Sam: Hey y/n! It's good to see you again. Even if it's just over a screen.

As Sam completed his sentence, Colby's arm draped around the blondes shoulders pulling him closer so he could also be in the camera more.

You: Ya. I've heard Colby talk a lot about you lately.

Sam: Good things I hope

Sam glared at the other as Colby chuckled at Sam's slight curiosity.

Colby: Of course good things!

Colby pulled Sam as close as he could to his figure, faces closer than they should be. Sam didn't quite mind this much, in fact Colby didn't either but Colby knows his limits between people. Especially since he's on the phone with none other than you.

You: You two honestly look like you're trying to resist the urge to kiss one another.

The two didn't realize how close their faces actually were until they actually turned their heads to look at each other, noses briefly touching the other's. Colby chuckled lowly again and pulled his head slightly away, the smirk appearing right on his face.

Colby: Pucker those lips Sammy boy!

Colby's pointer finger poked Sam's lips a few times. Sam finally listening to Colby's commands, trying to see what Colby was honestly trying to do.

You: Sam's actually going to kiss you? Out of all the people he could've chosen.

Colby: Hey! Is this what you think about after I've kissed you?

Colby wasn't even looking at the screen as he talked. He grabbed the nearest marker and wrote something down on it, grinning at the outcome till finally looking at the screen again.

You: Of course not Colby I was just messing with you!

Colby yet again let out a slight chuckle soon turning his head to Sam. Sam got his lips ready and closed his eyes waiting for the so called "kiss" to occur.

Colby: Kiss me Sam.

Colby lifted his hand as Sam kissed the palm of the others. Sam had opened his sky blue eyes and saw what was written on Colby's palm. Colby's palm had lifted up towards the screen until it focused. It read the word ME on it in all caps.

You: Very funny you two. Very funny.

Sam and Colby high fives each other until they both realized they had completely forgotten about filming.

Colby: As much as I'd love to stay and talk, Sam and I need to film the video for our channel. So talk to you later?

You: Of course I'm always down to talk later!

Colby's face cheered up as he reached for his phone, Sam slowly pulling himself closer to the door of Colby's room.

Colby: Bye y/n. Love you.

You: Lov-

The three beeps had played as the FaceTime call had ended completely cutting your sentence

You: Love you too..
