Jimin's eyes move over the sparkling pieces of jewellery winking at him under the glass cases. His frown deepening as he takes in the delicate pieces of craft one after the other.

When he walked into the store half an hour ago he had a very clear idea of what he wanted: the most perfect gift for Y/N. After mulling over the idea day and night he was certain now that he had to ask you out and make it official. He was certain about his feelings and he did care for you deeply. He couldn't wait any longer.

"Sir, can I help you?" He doesn't look up at the young female assistant smiling sweetly at him.

"I'm looking for a.. um.. gift, actually." He says.

She chuckles, "Oh i see.. I presume this is for a special someone." He looks up then and blushes at her words providing her with enough of an answer.

The assistant pulls out three different necklaces each with its own outstanding feature. Taking the one closest to him he scrutinises it carefully his gaze moving along the small heart shaped pendant but sets it down unsatisfied.

"I'm sorry but these don't seem right." He says after having had a look at the other two necklaces as well. The assistant merely smiles politely.

"It's fine. We have more options I just showed you the best sellers. I suppose you'll like something unique for her."

"Yes." he nods.

"I have just the thing for you. I'll be right back." Jimin watches the lady move from behind the glass case he's standing before to a part of the store he can't see.

He's never seen you wear any accessories before, which he at first thought was odd for a girl your age. He wanted to be the one to give you something special and the perfectionist in him was making is difficult. The thought of you makes him smile. Jimin looks up when he hears someone clear their throat.

The assistant places a single silver necklace before him.

"This is the only piece of it's kind", she says as manages to capture his interest. "It's also a new design so I can assure you that you won't find another anywhere."

Jimin careful takes the thin silver chain to his hand, placing it on his palm he smiles knowing instantly that this was the one.

The pendent dangling at the end of the chain is of small bird. A bird that is small and delicate yet free in flight.

"I'll take this."

Jimin takes the steps two at a time running up the stairs of the BigHit building. He had a meeting and he was already late. When he reaches the lobby he hears someone call out his name but he doesn't stop to see who it is.

"I'm late for the meeting. I have to rush," He says to no one is particular but hopes the message reaches the right person. As he runs he feels the square box pressing against his thigh, its presence sending a wave of excitement and nervous through him.

On reaching the boardroom, he pushes open the glass door and enters. As he notices the chair at the end of the long table unoccupied he feels a sense of triumph. He wasn't late after all but his grand entrance did attract everyone's attention. He smiles broadly and apologies before taking a seat next to Taehyung.

"Where were you?" Taehyung hisses under his breath.

"Just sorting some business out." He winks at his friend while patting his pocket that holds a small velvet box.

"It's nice to see that you're in a good mood." Taehyung states with a warm smile.

Jimin scans around the room looking for that one person he'd been thinking about all day long.

He looks over at the other members preoccupied in conversation, their laughter filling the room.

He stops at Jungkook, who's quietly sitting in his usual seat but other than that fact everything about him seems off. Jungkook roughly runs a hand through his hair, a habit Jimin knows only surfaces when the younger is immensely stressed. He also seems awfully pale as he drops his head to his hands. The older man instantly begins to worry for the younger as it's very rare to see the latter ever show how stressed he is.

Just then the door opens and in walks Bang Shihyuk. The lively chatter and laughter instantly dies out as everyone rises to greet him with Jungkook being the last to stand up. Jimin frowns making a mental note to speak to Jungkook after the meeting.

"Good evening, everyone." Bang Shihyuk adjusts his glasses and looks at the papers before him shuffling them around. "Before I begin the meeting I'd like to introduce Mr. Kim Joohyun." Jimin, along with every other individual in the room, turns his attention to the tall man standing beside the CEO. The man bows to everyone but doesn't say anything.

"Mr. Kim Joohyun will be Jungkook's new manager." PD-nim says.

The silence that settles among the members is heavy as they stare with wide eyes at one another. Jimin continues to gape at the man seated at the head of the table his words ringing in his mind.

Jungkook's new manager.

Jimin looks at Jungkook who is merely staring at his hands that are knotted on his lap. If Jimin expected to see shock on the younger's face he's disappointed. Why isn't Jungkook reacting to this news? Did he know something about Y/N that Jimin didn't?

The minute your names pops into his mind a feeling of dread ceases his heart. The chilly feeling of fear spread through his chest and every other part of his body. He licks his lips that have gone dry and looks at the faces around him for answers only to see his own confusion mirrored by everyone other face.

Where did Y/N go?
