You lean your forehead against the glass window allowing the cold to seep into you and calm your troubled thoughts. As you sigh your breathe fogs up a small spot on the wide window forming a cloud like shape. Your eyes burn from exhaustion. You hadn't slept all night but had instead stayed up tossing and turning in bed until it was late enough for Sunghyun to be asleep and for you to slip out unnoticed.

Sunghyun...

He must be so worried. You couldn't bring yourself to explain your sudden need to leave and get far far away from your live... because you yourself didn't know what had caused you to make the rash decision.

You were never impulsive.

Titling your head you look at the people in the train, your fellow passengers. What was their purpose of travel? Getting to work, maybe? Or getting back from work? Meeting loved one? You wonder how many of them are on this train trying to run away from their life. Probably just you.

Your heart feels heavy as the train leaves behind the last of Seoul. Shouldn't you be feeling better? You wanted to get away, didn't you? As your mind wonders back to the reason you're on this train the pain in your heart intensifies.

The memory is so clear in your mind.

Jungkook leans forwards resting his elbows on his knees as his head droops forward in exhaustion. You kneel before him trying to make him look at you. Your mind is a muddled mess of worry and anger. When he finally looks up at you the raw emotion burning in his eyes renders you speechless.

"What I want is for you to get away from me."

You look down almost expecting to see a knife pierce through your heart because that's what it feels like.

It was no surprise that Jungkook was rude to you but what about his word that night got to you? Maybe it was the fact that he genuinely meant the words that left his lips. He really did want you to get away from him.

Looking at his eyes that seemed watery you couldn't help but feel like you'd done something to ruined the relationship you were starting to have with Jungkook.

You shake your head, trying to dismiss the memory, causing the tears to fall. Not wanting to mull over the incident anymore you harshly wipe away the tears, the stinging in your eyes don't stop though. You've given Jungkook enough chances to walk all over your heart. You were putting a stop to it now.

The train slows to a stop and you immediately straighten up. The calm feminine voice you've been listening to the last 2 hours announces the name of the station and you hear door open with a hiss. Dragging your bag you quickly move towards the entrance and step off of the train along with the other people. You take a deep breathe but it's shaky and causes you to quickly exhale.

It's fine.. Everything is alright..

You're so far away from everything you know. You've never walked these streets before. None of the landmarks look familiar. The city itself smells foreign. Your bag drags behind you as your head moves from side to side taking in as much of the city as possible.

Forty-five minutes and a confusing taxi ride later you're standing before a small brown door the paint from it pealing off and random stickers are placed on it. You hesitate before pressing the door bell. The lack of any sound makes you suspicious but you wait patiently nonetheless. When nothing happens you decide to knock and finally hear sounds from within. You flinch when you hear something fall with a loud clang inside and not long after the door flies open.

The girl that stands before you stares at you with her eyes open so widen that you worry they'll simply pop pot of their sockets. Her light brown hair is a tangled mess and stands at awkward angles. She must have been asleep.

Sure enough she rubs her eyes and blinks slowly at you, "Y/N?"

You finally allow the tears to flow and threw yourself at the other girl. You grip her tightly as if your life depended on it.

Finally, having recovered from her initial shock her wraps her arms protectively around you and smooths down your hair gently. "Shh.. It's going to be alright. You have me now." Miri says reassuringly.

This is a really short chapter but it was important. For those of you who remember which city Miri lives in (Y/N mentioned it to Jungkook in one of the previous chapters)  you'll know where I'm going with this. For those that don't remember: no worries you'll find out soooon enough. I've written quite a lot so updates will be constant.
