Annabeth's pov

It's well past new years and I am currently in the backseat of dad's car as he drives to the airport. Giovanni's birthday is tomorrow and Federico's is the next day and since my audition to juilliard is the day after that we decided to all just go to New York. I am extremely nervous for Juilliard. Yes, they might be interested in me but that doesn't mean they are going to accept me.

We go into the runway stopping in front of the plane. One of the guards opened the door for us to get out of the car while other guards loaded the plane with our bags. I go into the plane laying down on one of the couches ready to fall asleep. We'll get there at nine in the morning and have the day to ourselves. "You look like a corpse ready to be laid in a casket" Achilles says I flip him off grabbing the blanket wrapping myself in it.

"Anna if you're going to sleep might as well go to the bed in the back" Dad says coming in I wave him off getting comfortable closing my eyes. "Anna, I am trying to sit on the couch." Gio says I open my eyes glaring at him. He moves my body letting me lay my head on his side and the rest of my body on the couch.

"Now you can sleep" Shit you don't have to tell me twice.

I feel my body being moved. I open my eyes seeing Gio trying to wake me up. "Fuck Giovanni I'm awake" I sit up streching feeling my back crack. "Come on Annabeth everyone is waiting for us in the car" He takes my bag to the car I sit in the middle of the backseat next to Rico. When Gio comes in the back sitting next to me Luciano drives off following behind dad.

"Are you nervous for the audition?" Rico ask I nod texting Marcello and Zeno that I'm here. "You shouldn't be. Trust me you'll get in and when you do me and Gio have to visit you every month" I laugh he just nods.

"I think every month is dramatic"

"Not really Anna i'll miss you too much" Gio says

"What about me I'll miss her too" Luciano says Gio and Rico just look at each other bursting out laughing. "Luciano of course you'll miss her but I asked for a little sister. Anna is my heart in a human form. Shit Anna I just might move to New York with you" A small smile comes to my face.

Rico agrees with him Luciano pulls into the parking lot shutting off the car. Gio opens the door and I get out of the car getting my bags. We all go in the elevator going to the top floor. "Can we get food? I'm hungry," Alessio says, throwing himself on the couch. "Alessio we just got here unpack then we can get food" Mom says he rolls his eyes scrolling through his phone.

I go upstairs to the last room on the left hand side. It's the farthest from everyone and has a great view of the city. Putting my suitcase on the bed I take my things out putting them in the dressers. My dance costumes I hang them up leaving them in the bags. My pointe shoes are on the floor next to them along with everything to prep them. Dad brought me new ones before I left for my audition.

"Anna were getting something to eat. Do you want to come with us?" Giovanni says coming into my room with Rico. "I'm fine i'll call to bring something up I have to prep my shoes" He nods telling me Val is the only other person staying behind. A small smile comes to my face when he closes the door. I take off my hoodie hanging it in the closet changing into shorts and a cropped tank top.

I tie my hair in a loose ponytail. I sit in front of the mirror where all my things are the prep and cut my pointe shoes. "Bellissima" Valentino says, coming in, locking my door. He sits next to me, placing a kiss on my cheek. He lights a blunt pulling me to his lap. "Baby I have to prep my shoes" His hands cups my heat from the outside of my shorts. I let out a deep breath resting my head on his chest.

"Prep your shoes my love and prepare yourself to ride my fingers" His lips go to my neck nibbling at it before going back to his blunt. I let out a deep breath grabbing the blade cutting the sole. Val watches me as I prep my shoes. It's become like second hand nature for me to do it.

I've been preparing my own shoes since I was 12. I burn the elastic by putting it on the shoe and sewing it. "I want you to show me how you prepare them," Val says sitting back next to me. I finish doing my right shoe and getting the left one out.

"So I determined that this was the left one and I marked it left. Then I sewed the ribbon and elastic right here. Just take it as you go through to the end." He takes the needle going through I watch as he sticks his tongue out a little trying to concrete doing them. "Like this?" He ask I nod and he smiles.

I show him how I break the demi pointe and the arch he gets it pretty quickly. "How did I do?" I put them on fixing the arch. "You did amazing" He smiles brightly. I take them off putting them under the costumes laying on the bed.

He brings me in his arms, holding me close to him. I lay my head on his chest and he runs his hands through my hair massaging my head. "You alright?" He asks I nod bury my head in the crook of his neck. "I just want to be in your arms" He places a kiss on my temples.

"Your the only person i'll let lay in my arms"
