~Seven years later

I stare in the mirror.

I hate this part of pregnancy. Like, really, hate. Sighing, I stuff my phone in my purse. I get frustrated when it doesn't want to fit and groan.

Hands on my waist make me still. I look in the mirror and lock eyes with Elijah, who's hugging me from behind. He's leaving a trail of kisses in my neck, making me smile.

"What's wrong, sweetheart? You don't seem in a good mood," he chuckles between his kisses. I sigh, hard. "My suit doesn't fit anymore! I'm too fat already, and I'm just four months in!" I complain.

He smirks. "That's normal, sweetheart. This suit is sexy and tight as fuck, I'd be worried if it would fit." I frown. Still... it's my fav.

"And, sweetheart, I bought a shit ton of pregnancy dresses for you. I'm a bit sad you don't wear them," he pouts. He leaves one last kiss in my neck and releases me. "Come on, let's get to work."

I take his hand in mine and walk us to the kitchen. Ethan smiles at me from the table and stands up, throwing the newspaper on the stack. "Hey, princess. Hm, the baby's growing," he smiles and kisses my cheek.

My smile drops, just as Elijah winces. "Hush, idiot. She wants to be skinny again," he hisses. Ethan frowns. "But this is the beauty of pregnancy! Didn't you like it when you were pregnant with Melanie? Or Emily? Or perhaps Azzy?"

"I did," I mumble. Jordan walks in, whistling. A smile creeps its way up to his face and he walks to me. "Ah, my favorite wife is here. Nothing can break my day now," he smiles and hugs me. A warm feeling spreads through my chest and I smile.

"What about an apocalypse? That can ruin your day," I joke. He sighs, rolling his eyes. "Always one to kill the mood," he grumbles, but smiles while saying it and gives me another kiss.

I am the one to ruin the mood?

"What about you, mister 'I cry even though we haven't even started the wedding'?" I tease. His eyes narrow, dead set in a glare. "We've discussed this before. There's nothing wrong with loving someone so much they cry."

Well, he cried a lot. "But you never cry," I chuckle, giving him another kiss. I'll never stop making fun of him, although it was sweet. He was crying so much he stuttered between his vows. It was cute.

Ethan steals me from Jordan again. "That's all it takes to make you happy again? I kinda wanna see you roast me," he grins, challenging me. His eyes twinkle, as if saying try me. I cock an eyebrow.

"Okay, mister 'I faint every time my wife gives birth'." His eyes narrow and he sets me down again, turning around and walking away. I grin, walking back to Elijah, who gladly picks me up. I give him a questioning look, but his eyes widen and he shakes his head.

No roast for mister 'I have thousands pictures of my wife in my office, although I act like I'm not completely whipped', then.

"Sunbeam! The twins are bullying me!" I hear a yell. Quickly after that, the two girls run in giggling. They are taking pictures on Aaron's phone again.

Aaron runs in too, panting and seeming very close to the edge of desperation. "I need my phone," he pants. I grin and untangle myself from Elijah, then kneel next to Emily and Azzy. "Hey, girls. One more picture with mommy and then te phone back to Dada, yes?"

They giggle and nod, taking a picture of the three of us. They're smarter than regular four years olds, and Owen teaching them how to annoy the others doesn't really help either.

"Okay, give the phone back now." Azzy gives Aaron the phone, making him smile. "Thank you, Azzywazzy. Go get ready for the daycare now, Owen will help you."

She hops away, to her princess room. Emily pouts. "I don't like Owen! He's mean!" My eyes widen and I lock eyes with Jordan, who easily picks her up.

"I don't like you either," she scoffs and looks the other way. I arch an eyebrow at Jordan, who's frowning. I know exactly what he's thinking.

Little brat.

But oh, if I said that, I would be getting a purple ass. "Why don't we like him anymore, Emily?"I ask her and set her on my hip. She squeals and hugs me, giggling like crazy all of sudden. "He ate my donut."

Ah, I know the feeling. "That's not really sweet. Say sorry, Jordy." He narrows his eyes at me, but takes one of Emily's hands in his. "I'm sorry, little one. You can have my donut and yours tomorrow, alright?"

She smiles and nods, then wiggles out of my grip to run to her sister. "I get two donuts tomorrow and you don't!"

I sigh. Jordan lays his hands on my waist and his face in my neck, starting to move like we're dancing a little. "What about we change today's schedule a bit, baby? It is our anniversary," he reasons.

I laugh. "No, it isn't. We married the 7th of May." He frowns. "Not that anniversary. The day we got back together."

Oh.

"So how many anniversaries do you have?" I smile up at him. The fact he remembers all those dates is really cute. He looks taken aback and eyes me cautiously.

"Seven..." I giggle and kiss his nose. "Tell me." He sighs. "Um. Getting back together, proposal, wedding day, wedding night, moving to Italy, for the fist time picnicking at your spot and the twins' birthday."

I smile. So cute. "Wedding day and wedding night is the same date, though," I bring in. He ignores me and kisses me softly. I happily kiss back. I love his attention.

A few years after we got back together, we moved to Italy. Dylan and Dallas followed us and live a few streets from here with their daughter, Melanie. I am Melanie's birth mom. I knew they wanted kids, and adopting them costs a lot of time. So I figured, why not actually?

They're the best of friends a girl can wish for, and they've always helped me. I could finally pay them back.

"What's the change of plans?" I whisper when I realize he won't let go of me. "Breakfast at the spot," he whispers back. I smile, happy.

"But first, the kids have to go to school. Oh, and Dylan and Dallas are coming too." He untangles us and gives me another kiss. "I love you, I'll see you in a bit."

I nod and he walks out of the door. I turn and walk to the twins' bedroom. "No! Emily, no!" I hear Owen scream. It's a high pitched scream, something I'm not used from him.

I open the door and see him lying on the floor, struggling with both of the girls. They're literally jumping on him. "Azzy! Get off me!"

They don't stop, but I walk towards the three of them and give them a push in their back. They stumble forward, but they're fine. "No! Mommy, no!" Azzy protests and attempst to get back on Owen.

"No! Go put on your coat or I'm getting mad! First Aaron, then Own? This is not what I taught you!" I scold them. They sniffle, but listen and walk to the hallway. Ethan is bringing them to school.

I kneel next to Owen, who's still lying on the floor. "You good?" He groans and sits up. "Monsters, that's what they are." I smile and extend a hand, pulling him up. He hugs me close. "I hope this one likes me more," he mutters.

I chuckle. "If you hadn't taught them how to prank the others, they'd have been still angels. But guess what?" He sighs. "I really thought they were on my team. And here I am, attacked by four years olds."

"Come on, the picnic will make your mood better," I smile and turn him around. He shoot me a smirk. "Something else can do that too, you know."

I click my tongue, shaking my head. "Nope. Not today, sweetie. Today is a work day." He pouts, genuinely not happy with that. "But your office is right next to mine! It's a shame I don't get to use that."

I shrug, grinning. I just have one rule: no sex at the office. They complain about it everyday, but I just can't have it if people know I had sex. I have no problem with hickeys or love bits, but what if our secretary actually hears us?

Not risking that.

He sighs, but intertwines our hands and walks us out of the room. "I'm still happy you work at the office, though. I love you being bossy." He gives me a sheepish smile. "Even when I can't bend you over that desk, I love being with you all the time."

I nod. I agree. Since we built the office here in Italy, they convinced me to work there too. I have a position as high as theirs, so I know everything what's going on. They tell me if anything happens and ask how I would fix it.

I'm happy with it. They've become better at communicating and talking with me, just like how I asked all those years ago. But they're still my guys.

Dante: When am I getting those files, Scarlett. I fucking need them

Me: Do not use that tone against your boss

Dante: Or what.

Me: Or you're fired

Dante: Damn, again? That's like the third time you fire me this week. It's Tuesday

Me: I have the power, I won't play around

I grin. Dante hates that I have a higher position than him, but he hasn't done anything concerning jealousy. He just doesn't like it when I command or fire him.

Which happens a lot.

"Is Dante annoying again, darling? You know you can fire him, right?" Owen asks. I grin. "Oh, believe me, I know."

We get in his car and drive to the spot I discovered all those years ago, when I was studying here. The old lady with the cats told me about them and one day, one of her cats brought me here.

She's died two years back, but her five cats went to me. I was crying when I found out. I used to call her cats the same names as my guys, because they reminded me of them. And now they're part of the family.

Elijah Junior is Emily's favorite, so that one is in trouble. He's getting dressed up all the time, making Elijah run away in fear she'll make him wear matching sweaters.

His fear is understandable, Emily is a true disaster.

We park and we walk to the spot, where all of my guys and Dallas and Dylan are already seated. "We're late, sorry," I apologize and sit down next to Ethan. He pulls me closer with an arm around my waist.

"No problem, princess. It was just Dallas scowling over you being late, but we know he's a grump." I giggle and look at Dallas, who's very pointedly ignoring him.

Dylan smiles and waves at me. "How's the baby?" I smile. "He's very good."

My guys stiffen and all look at me with big eyes and jaw dropped. I smile, expectantly. "Yes? What's up?"

Aaron jumps up. "It's a boy?" I nod, one hand on my belly. "It is." Elijah buries me in a hug. "A boy... I fucking love you."

Owen joins our hug. Ethan does, too, mumbling thanks. Aaron is jumping around and screaming "Woohoo" over the sea. Dylan and Dallas seem terrified.

I look at Jordan, who's sniffling. I let go of my three huggers and give him a hug. He lets out a soft cry. "I'm sorry, I don't know why I'm crying."

Oh frick, I broke his brain. First at the wedding and now here.

"It's okay, sweetie. Crying is cute." He sniffles and wipes his tears away. "Fuck, sorry, Dylan and Dallas. This wasn't what I planned to happen. Not that I'm disappointed."

Dallas brushes it off. "No problemo. We're happy for you, guys. You've been wanting a boy for a long time now." I nod.

We shuffle a bit and watch the view of the sea being calm. I feel at ease here, with my guys, who I can call my husbands, and my best friends all together.

I love the kids, but this is one of the best moments of my life.  "I love you," I whisper, feeling emotional all of sudden.

"I love you too," seven voices sound, then laughing. I smile.

Yeah, I'm living the best life one can have.

*****

Totally not crying, why would you think that?
