Unbelievable.

In shock, I stare at Ethan. He looks uncomfortable, but he wasn't earlier. I glare at him and sigh. "Fine. But that was the last time, the video is deleted."

I smirk. I knew that was a good choice. But they all start smirking, except Owen. Owen pouts. "But that was the only thing I had from that. They have their memories," he whines.

I give him a kiss and he shuts up. Then, I bend down to his ear. "Then let's make other memories," I whisper. His eyes widen, his jaw drops and I notice his pants start to become tight. I love it when I get them crazy.

Just when he's about to answer, my phone rings. It's on the couch, next to Elijah, who frowns at it. He gives me my phone, and I frown too.

Mom is calling...

I haven't heard of her in two weeks. Why now?

I look at my guys, unsure what to do. They motion I have to pick up, so I obey. "Mom?" I ask, confused.

"Oh, honey! Believe me, I didn't know," she cries. I frown and walk to my room for privacy. I pass Asher's, and decide to get him with me. "Hold on, Mom, I'm getting Ash," I whisper.

"Ash," I gently say. He's asleep, but frowns. "Ash, I'm calling with mommy," I whisper. His eyes snap open, breaking my heart. He misses her so bad...

"Mommy!" he exclaims. He smiles broadly and claps in his hands. I set him on my hip and walk to my room. I give him my phone, but put it in loud speaker so I can listen too.

"Hey mommy," he smiles. Mom lets out a high pitched voice. "Ash! Oh, baby, mommy's going to get you, don't worry. Is Lettie there too?"

"Yeah, I'm here, Mom," I say and sit down on the bed. Asher smiles up at me. "Honey, where are you now? Are you still at your dad's? I didn't know he would do that, I swear! I'm so sorry, but I had to organize things."

Organize things. That's more important than your children?

"What things?" I ask. "I bought a house, and I'm starting to build up a small shop. But now, everything is settled. So you con come home, if you want. Tom is already here."

Her voice is soft. I recognize sadness in it. "I'm at my friends' right now. But I'd love to come home," I whisper. I almost sob. Please, let me go home.

"You can, honey. Come home," her voice sounds. "I will, Mom," I smile.

Sadness dawns on us.

I will. She's leaving us?

I'd understand if it was just for Ash. Would have gone wrong if he saw what we're about to do with his sister...

Aaron sighs. "You think she'll come back?" I shrug. "I don't know... but I do know it'll be better for her. You know, she really suffered," I sigh.

I don't like Scarlett in pain, and she was in pain when her mom left. That's why she ditched us for a week. And the possibility is back, and I don't want to take that from her.

Maybe we can go back to the bar every day?

"Mom, I'm bringing Ash tomorrow. For me, I first need to arrange something. But I'll come home," she says, and I hear her stepping to the door.

But before we can hide, the door opens and she cocks an eyebrow at us. Owen and Aaron fall down on the ground. Me, Elijah and Jordan just stand there, frozen. She knew we stood here?

"Yes?"

Oh fuck, she really has an attitude. I can't wait to spank it out of her.

"You're going home?" Jordan asks. Her face falls. "Yes." My shoulders slump. I notice the rest is silent too.

Scarlett frowns. "Come on, guys, it's not like I'm gone forever. She lives two streets away!" Yeah, but still... It's not the same. It's not the same as waking up to her and going to sleep with her. It's not the same as bringing her to school and coming home when she is already there.

"And I know you love your mom," Owen smiles and gives her a hug. Aaron is still on the floor, behind her. He smirks up. He's clearly liking his view. "Nice ass, sunbeam."

She turns around and giggles. "It's yours," she shrugs and he smiles. "Shouldn't have said that. I can be a pain in the ass," he smirks at his joke. I roll my eyes. He's a butt guy for sure.

"I'll go home tomorrow, I've missed my mom so much," she explain. I mean, I get it. If I could go to my mom, I'd do it. But yeah, heaven has no visiting hours.

I nod. Elijah gives her a sad smile. "But we'll still see you at the bar, right?" She laughs. "At the bar? Ellie, what are you talking about? Oh! You guys think you're not going to see me anymore! Ahw, you're so cute," she smiles.

Elijah scowls at the mention of his pet name. I smile at her. "So we're going to see you a lot?"

She rolls her eyes. "No. I'll be here so much you can't call it 'a lot' anymore. I'll be here all the time, and at the bar, and one of you will lunch with me every day."

Thank God. That is a lot, but I'll never get tired of her smile. Or her laugh. Or Scarlett herself.

"Shotgun tomorrow!" Elijah yells. Ah, dammit. I frown, sighing. Scarlett gives me a sceptical look. "Seriously, Ethan? You had lunch with me today," she reasons. Yeah? "What's your point?"

She giggles. "Look, here's what we do. Five school days, each a day. And the Wednesday guy takes me to lunch," she suggests. We nod. That'll work. "And that guy brings and picks you up from school?" Jordan asks.

Her nod makes me smile. "I'll gladly make the Monday's bearable for you, princess," I smile. Jordan yells,"I'm Wednesday!"

Elijah glares at him, but chooses Friday. Aaron calls Tuesday, so that makes Owen... Oh no. Owen doesn't have lunch break, just ten minutes.

When I look at him, I can see it in his eyes. Jordan punches his shoulder, but he looks down. "I'm sorry, Scarlett, but I don't think-""He'll gladly spend his hour and a half break with you, babe," Jordan nods.

Owen looks up, confused. "Jordan, what are you-" Jordan shuts him up with a look. Owen nods, thankful. He looks at Scarlett, smiling.

"I'm Thursday."
