"That wasn't suppose to happen" I groaned walking out of the shower. I woke up and it really hit me that I had sex with Ka'ron last night. Clearly it didn't hit me hard enough because we ended up in the shower this morning.

"You was loving it last night and this morning" he smirked.

"You didn't use a condom"

"So what?"

"So what? I have five kids which I think is enough, were not in a good situation to be having another child together. I took the pill this morning" I informed him.

"Okay" he nodded looking annoyed.

"You have a girlfriend and I just had sex with you, I'm just as bad as those girls that I claim I can't stand" I frowned.

"Me and you have history, maybe this is a sign we need to be together. We ain't getting any younger, we have a daughter together, your kids love me, so why not?" He asked stepping closer to me.

"No, you have to tell Monica what happened."

"Do you love me?" He suddenly asked.

"I have love for you..." I started.

"But you're not in love with me, right?" He asked looking down.

"I feel out of love with you years ago and over the years I grew love for you, I care about you deeply and I never want to lose the bond we've created but..."

"But you're not in love with me, I get it. Forget last night ever happened. We'll just act like we never did this" he said sliding his shirt on before leaving my room. I huffed falling back on my bed completely frustrated with the situation. I needed to get out the house and get a drink.

"I'm a up and coming rapper, you probably heard about me, they call me Black Licorice"

"You're 42, don't you think it's a little late to be pursuing a rap career?" I asked wanting this man to get away from me. I came down to the near by bar to get a drink and be alone for a while but this man was making that impossible.

"No baby see it's never too late to follow your dreams" he smiled showing of his gold tooth. I cringed  hating the look of his mouth and flagged down the waiter.

"That is true, well good luck with that"

"Calvin I think your wife is looking for you" the bartender cut in.

"Nice meeting you" Black Licorice said before scurrying away. I laughed shaking my head before taking another sip of my drink.

"Lemme just get a Heineken" a voice said coming next to me. The bartender nodded and walked off. I turned talking a look and man next to me and he was fine.

"How you doing?" He smiled.

"Good" I simply answered.

"I'm Malcolm" he introduced holding his hand out. The bartender came back with a bottle of Heineken. He thanked him then took a sip.

"I'm..." I began to speak but his phone rang.

"Hold that thought beautiful, my sisters calling" he smiled walking away from me slightly. I blushed from the compliment and continued sipping my drinking. I couldn't help myself as I eavesdropped on his conversation.

"Hello"

"..."

"Hey babygirl"

"..."

"I'm busy right but I'll be home soon"

"..."

"Alright I love you too"

After hearing his conversation I shook my head and rolled my eyes. This reminded me of the day I met Jayceon and he claimed that phone call was with his sister.

"Sorry about that" he said walking back over to me.

"Mhmm" I mumbled not looking at him. I continued sipping my drink and decided to ignore him. I didn't need to entertain any conversation with a man who had a woman. I already possibly ruined one relationship from my actions last night.

"Uhh did I do something?"

"Shouldn't you go talk to your girl or whoever you were on the phone with" I said with an attitude.

"So you were eavesdropping?" he laughed.

"The whole bar could hear, you weren't really speaking quietly" I lied.

"I have nothing to prove to you, I don't have to explain myself but my sister did call me"

"You call your sister babygirl?" I asked.

"No but I call my daughter who my sister is babysitting babygirl" he said before getting up.

"Oh" I mumbled. I could tell he was telling the truth so I felt dumb.

"You have a nice night though" he said putting his money down before leaving. I groaned dropping my head on the table, I had barely been in Maui for two days and I was fucking up everything.
