"Mommy why they have daddy pictures up there?" Ketara asked as we walked out of the church. Today was Jayceon's funeral and the service had just finished. They were taking his body to the grave site to bury but I didn't want to witness that.

"Cause he's gone foreber" Kash said. I turned around and pulled him towards me.

"Kash! Don't say that!" I scolded him. I tried my best to explain what happened in a way they would understand and he didn't take it so well.

"Why daddy leave?" Elijah frowned hoping down the steps. The bruises they had on their faces had healed up a little since the incident. I made sure I covered a lot of the mirror in the house because they would get upset every time they saw their reflection.

"You good Gold?" Jason asked walking up.

"Yeah these kids are just a hand full"

"I bet they are, you got your own little army right here" he joked. I looked around spotting Kaelin talking with Ada and Ava. She kind of guessed something bad had happened so she didn't take it as bad but she was still hurt. Jayceon wasn't her father but they had a bond.

"Yeah I got future kings and queens" I smiled looking at the little ones while touching my baby bump. I was taking this pregnancy and my life one day at a time. I wasn't sure where to go from here but I was going to stay strong.

"We all coming to your house?" He asked.

"Yeah can you take the kids to my car, I need to do something real quick"

"Yeah come on little monsters" he said picking Ketara up.

"Her behind can walk, y'all be babying her too much" Claire said walking. I bit my tongue and decided not to say anything back to her. I knew how hurt she was even though she didn't show it.

"I'll be back" I excused myself and walked over to Meleana.

"Golden" she spoke trying to get herself together. She had been hysterical during the funeral. I couldn't hate the girl because we didn't know about eachother so I decided to be cordial with her.

"I came to see how you were holding up and if you had plans after you leave here. My family is coming back to my house for food and family fun, you can come if you want"

"You don't have to play nice, I know I'm the last person you want here"

"Listen these last few week have opened my eyes up to a lot, I have way more important thing to focus my energy on than hating you"

"I'm sorry about everything that happened" she spoke apologizing about what had happened when the boys had been found. There was a body of a little boy found when they discovered Kash and Elijah.

"We know you had something to do with the kidnappings and the recent killings of Jayceon Carter, Candice Flemmings, Nathan Sanders and Joel Sanders" the detective spoke sitting in front of an unfamiliar woman. Dectective Miller allowed me to stand behind the glass along with Meleana to listen to this woman.

"The woman that you found was behind it all, she was using me to take the fall" the woman spoke. I didn't recognize her face but her voice for some odd reason, I felt like I heard before.

"Cut the crap Ms.Hall, Mrs. Carter has identified you as her cousin so we know that you know the first victim. Candice Flemmings was connected to Nathan and that is how you got to know who he was. Question is why would you kill them"

"That's what she said?"

"She informed me that you stayed at her house when she was out of town or when she needed someone to babysit"

"Hmmm..well where's wifey?" She asked sitting back. Suddenly my eyes widened when I realized who this woman was.

That phone call...this was the woman that Jayceon was messing with. Now something tells me that phone call wasn't accidental.

"Best thing for you to do is tell us the truth, play by play of what happened. If you cooperate then I could help get you a better deal"

"I'm probably already gonna get life so why should I speak" she said looking bored.

"So that we know what exactly happened to these victims, their families deserve to know how there loved last moments were" Detective Miller spoke.

"Fine let's start from the beginning" she shrugged. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath preparing myself for what I was about to hear. I wanted to kill this woman for what she did to my kids, for what she put my family through.

"Candice had this crazy obsession with Jayceon so she found out where he was living. She popped up one day when I was there, I invited her in, we talked, I offered her a drink and she started babbling. Jayceon and I had been messing around for a while, as much as he messed around he seemed to be in love with that big lipped Lightskin hoe Silver. We both didn't like that and decided to do something about it" I rolled my eyes at what she called me.

"So you and Candice made a plan to do what exactly?" He pressed.

"We planned on scaring Jayceon and threatening him a little so he would leave his 'wives' and be with us." She smirked.

"Well he ended up dead so what happened"

"We had been following Jayceon for days, we figured out all the places he spent the most time at. One day he drove to beach and got out the car. We figured that would be the best time to speak to him but Nathan beat us to it. Candice filled me in on who he was, that guy was disgusting he deserves what he got" she said not sounding the least bit sorry.

"What happened at the beach?" He asked.

"Jayceon held the gun up to his head but put it back down. Nathan came up behind Jayceon and he must of heard him so Jay pointed it at him but Nathan wrestled him and managed to get the gun. We tried running to go help Jay but we were too late, I was hurt that he killed the love of my life so I killed Nathan."

"What about his son Joel Sanders" he questioned.

"We found him asleep in his car seat in Nathans car so we took him. I didn't need the little bastard growing up and coming after us"

"So why the kidnapping?"

"That dumb bitch didn't appreciate Jay and she deserves to suffer, we would've taken the girls too but they were with their older sister at the time. We were going to come back later and take out everyone one by one"

"So you took the boys?"

"No one knew Nathan was dead so we paid some guy on the street that had similar features to him. We knew the mother was home so this was the perfect opportunity, she gave them over with barely any questions asked" she laughed shaking her head.

"So how did everything play out after that?"

"Candice started to have second thoughts right after I killed Nathan and she tried fighting me when I killed his bastard son" she replied. The people on the other side of the interrogation room with me looked angry. I wanted this bitch to rot in prison and then rot in hell.

"So you killed Candice Flemmings?"

"I didn't plan on keeping her around in the first place, I wasn't going to share Jay with her but when he died I knew I had to keep her around longer. She was going to go to the cops so I did what I had to do" she shrugged.

"Get her out of here!" Detective Miller shouted making two officers run in and cuff her. She had a smile on her face the entire time as they dragged her out the room. It was as if she saw right through the glass because she stared directly at me and smirked.

"You couldn't have known that she was going to do that" I shook my head.

"There was always something off about her but I figured it wasn't that serious. I didn't even know they were messing my around right under my nose" she shook her head and began laughing uncontrollably then she began sobbing. I stood there awkwardly because I didn't know what to do. I just stepped forward a little and gave her shoulder a little pat.

"Look I just want to put all of this behind me"

"I'll probably stop by for a few minutes and bring my son by" she nodded before walking away.

"You just had a convo with her and didn't raise your voice, I'm so proud of you" Shae smiled. Kaelin was walking towards as Jayda walked off with Ada and Aca.

"I don't need to stress, I just want this pregnancy to go by smoothly then I'm removing my ovaries" I said half serious.

"Yes I love my nieces and nephew but it's gonna look like you creating a damn football team" she laughed.

"Trust me I'm done" I laughed along with her and gave Kaelin a hug as she made her way over. I placed a kiss on her head before interlocking our hands, I link my arms with Shae and made my way to my car. It's was going to take a while but things were going to be okay. I couldn't dwell on all the wrong that had happened in my life, that was the only way to stay sane.
