"He put his hands on you?! Got me fucked up, I got something for that ass" Shae said pulling her gun and taser out the safe in her closet. Shae had picked me up from the airport and drove me to her house where I was staying for the few days I would be here. The kids were all taking a nap so we had time to ourselves to relax.

"Shae I'm not going to make do that, they gonna lock your crazy ass up"

"Lock me up, throw away they key. That nigga got life fucked up thinking he could put his hands on you" Shae spoke angrily shoving the gun and taser back in the safe.

"You won't have to do that Shae, we're done"

"So you leaving for good?" Shae asked as she sat down on the end of her bed with a bag of Doritos, the purple bag.

"Yeah I'm so tired of his shit, I just need time to clear my head. I have vacation days saved up so I'ma just take some time to adjust, maybe find a new house" I shrugged not really knowing what to do anymore.

"Thank God, move back here, we all miss you" Shae said poking her bottom lip out.

"I can't just up and move, we have kids together but enough about my messy ass, how have you been boo?" I asked.

"I ain't done talking about that fuckboy but drama, drama, drama and more drama" is all she said as she shook her head.

"Drama with you and Trey? You guys always fight and make up, you might as well just makeup now because you know it's going to happen"

"No it's not like that this time" she frowned.

"Then what is it like?" I asked in confusion.

"Over the past few weeks some things have been revealed to me. Some things involving people outside of our relationship" she said beating around the bush.

"Girl what happened? You beating all around the damn bush and shit" I joked.

"Trey admitted to cheating on me almost five years ago" she announced making my jaws drop. Why would he marry her and then wait so long to tell her something like this.

"Damn, I don't even know what to say, how do you react five years later" I said asking myself morely than Shae.

"Girl that ain't the only shit that happened" she rolled her eyes sat up straight.

"What else happened?" I asked not knowing what else to expect.

"This nigga had to audacity to go behind my back and give Addi a DNA test"

"What the hell?!" I exclaimed. I knew my little eyes were wide as hell right about now.

"Yeah and when the results came back it said Trey wasn't the father"

"You haven't slept with anyone else so that can't be right"

"Exactly, I think he was fucking some bitch at that hospital and maybe she came across the blood test and messed with it"

"Dis tew much" I said shaking my head.

"I don't know how to tell you this last part" she spoke nervously.

"There's more?"

"Yeah and it involves Jayceon, well kinda" she said catching my attention. I was nervous to hear what she was going to tell me.

"You're killing me Shae...what is it?" I asked after taking a deep breath. I braced myself for whatever it was she was going to say to me.

"Remember I said Trey cheated five years ago? Well yeah it was with Shantanay and there's a possibility Elijah is Treys"

I couldn't brace myself enough for that.

Jayceon

"Fuck was that for?" I cough jumping away from my dad. I had just told him everything that had happened and what I did to Golden. He was quiet for a while and then out of nowhere punched me in the throat.

"Imagine how she feels, last time I checked I have a daughter and a son, not a daughter and a bitch"

"I made a mistake" I breathed out trying to soothe my throat.

"Your mother has you thinking that what you're doing is okay and that the problem is with the women in your life but the problem is you" he lectures making me roll my eyes.

"Lil nigga you wanna get hit again?" he threatened coming closer to me. I didn't try taking my dad up on that challenge because I knew he would fuck me up.

"I get it, I messed up but those girls mean nothing" I sighed looking down still holding my throat.

"Then why cheat? They mean nothing but your using them to cheat on someone you claim means something you"

"I understand and I'm trying to right my wrongs" I explained but he wasn't trying to hear that.

"What if she doesn't take you back and I hope she doesn't" he said giving me a look.

"Why you hope we don't get back together" I frowned on looking up at him.

"You said she had a rough past and went through a crazy relationship and here you are doing the same thing. I see that girl take care of Elijah like she gave birth to him and he's the child you had with another women that you cheated on her with"

"I'm trying to change, cut me some slack"

"You're 30, a grown man now and you've been claiming to change since high school. You may be my son but you ain't shit. I think you need to give relationships a break and focus on yourself" he told me before leaving out the room. I looked down at my hands and looked back up. I knew how I was going to make it up to Gold and get her back.
