My pounding head and the slight shake my body was feeling had woken me up.

I open my eyes and they immediately make contact with Angel's handsome but cold face.

His arms were wrapped around me as he seemed to be carrying me.

I unconsciously snuggle into his warmth and close my eyes again, though not going back to sleep completely.

I feel him place me down on a bed, immediately missing his warmth and intoxicating smell.

He takes my shoes off and pulls the blankets over me.

After that, I had felt the bed dip beside me.

I open my eyes and they land on Angel, who was now sitting on the edge of my bed.

"Why were you drunk tonight?" He asks gently though his tone was still rough and cold.

"Miya's boyfriend broke up with her." I tell him, my voice slightly hoarse.

He nods slowly.

My eyes linger on him, slowly going over his handsome features.

"What were you doing up?" I ask him.

He looks down at me, never taking his eyes off me as he talks.

"Work." He simply answers.

"Your working at 1am?" I exclaim quietly.

He stares at me, no emotion swimming on his features.

I shake my head disappointedly.

"As a friend, concerned for another friend, you should sleep." I point out.

The corner of his lips twitches at my words before getting placed back to its usual position.

"I'll be fine." He says monotonously.

My eyes scan over his features, the dark had only made him look scarier than he was, though also impossibly more attractive.

The dim light coming from the window had illuminated his skin, making the cream colour bright and clear.

His high cheekbones reminded me of those greek sculptures, his cheekbones were so defined that it made any girl envy to have them.

His eyes were a darker shade of grey and blue, though they stood out amongst the dark.

I noticed his jaw, oh how I wanted to trace my finger along its sharp edges. It was sharpened to absolute perfection.

His hair was something I loved. Under the darkness, his deep brown colour had turned black, though if you put it under the dim light it would look like its actual colour.

His hair was thick and messy, though it fitted him perfectly. It was cropped just below his ears, the messy waves sat on his head falling in front of his eyes.

To pull it all together his lips had matched everything perfectly.

They were full, plump and red.

I think just staring at them would put you in a trance, a trance of wanting to or needing to have them against your lips, feel them, taste them and just surrender all your mercy to them.

I now sit here and think how on earth did I manage to pull a guy like this as a friend.

Though being more than a friend to him is something I would kill for. I highly doubt he would want to date me.

I think it's fair a goddess should only date a goddess.

It seemed that I wasn't the only one who gazing.

He seemed to have gotten out of his daze and subtly get up.

I frown but replace it back its normal place.

"Your leaving?" I ask.

He nods.

I sit up only for my head to throb rapidly.

I wince and hold my head in my hands.

Angel placed some medicine on my nightstand and some water.

"Drink, when you wake up." He ordered.

"Okay." I reply.

I look up at him and smile.

He doesn't smile back though his head tilts the side a bit as if to observe me.

I took this chance to stand up on my bed, so I could reach his height.

I ignored the pain my body was receiving, I was surprised I hadn't thrown up yet.

I stood in front of him and then realised that he was still an inch taller than me.

How?

My arms opened widely, inviting him to hug me.

He stares at me blankly and I sigh and wrap my arms around his neck.

I snuggle into his neck, deeply enjoying the moment.

Angel, on the other hand, seemed uncomfortable though his tense body seemed to relax immediately at my touch.

"Hug me please," I ask.

He then very slowly, wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Have you ever hugged before?" I ask jokingly.

Though he nodded no in an answer.

I sighed.

"Well looks like you'll have to get used to it tough guy." I say patting his back.

He scoffs but seemed to tighten his hold on me more.

"Tough guy?" He questions.

"Yeah, it's fitting." I shrug.

We stay in each other's arms for a little longer, not one of us letting go.

"I need to leave, Moonlight." He tells me.

I sigh and pull away from him.

His hands are still around my waist while mine lay on his shoulder.

"I'll see you Monday?" I ask him.

He nods and I smile.

I lay back down on the bed and get under the covers.

I wave at him as he leaves through the door, and makes his way out of the house.

I close my eyes and slowly drift into oblivion.
