Third-person POV

"Mama, when's daddy coming home?"

The little boy gazed up at his mother, his tiny hands on his hips while he looked at her seriously. Daisy couldn't help but giggle at her son, his stern expression only reminding her of a puppy.

"He'll be home soon, Nicholas,"

He sighed and dropped his eyes from his mother.

His short legs climbed up onto the couch and sat next to her, cuddling into her side and sprawled his legs across the couch.

It had been three years, Angel and Daisy were happily married and had a son who they had named Nicholas Tyson Romano.

Daisy ran her hand through her son's brown curls, easily making him sigh and close his eyes.

The front door slammed open, startling the two and driving the little boy to leap to his feet and sprint towards the door. Daisy giggled at her enthusiastic son once more and followed in his footsteps.

Angel stood at the doorway, clad in black as he lifted his eager son into his arms. Placing a kiss on his chubby cheek, the little boy wrapped his arms around his father.

"Daddy!" Nicholas squeals.

"I missed you," He mumbled in his neck, Angel chuckled and said the same thing. Daisy stood against the doorframe, staring at the two. Her gaze had met her husband's, and his eyes had lit up once more.

Placing the small boy down, he walks over to his wife and she wraps her arms around his waist, endorsing his warmth.

"Happy birthday, Moonlight,"

She smiled against his chest and raised her head to look at him, he returned her gaze and leant his head down to her lips, pressing them softly against hers.

Daisy smiled into the kiss, her heartwarming in his arms all over again.

She felt a tug at the hem of her dress and looked down, her son looking at them innocently.

"I want a kissy too," He pouted and frowned.

Daisy smiled and lifted him, showering his chubby face in little kisses as he giggled faintly.

Another voice came from the door, urging everyone to look in the direction. Lycian, Drake, and Elio were all there at the entrance, holding balloons, flowers, and a cake.

Daisy blushed and sat Nicholas down, wrapping her arm around Angel's waist and looking at the three boys.

"You guys didn't have to do anything for me," She blushes.

"Please as if we wouldn't," Lycian scoffs and waves his hand at her.

Lycian was the first to walk through the door, tossing the balloons to the side and embracing Daisy in a crushing hug.

"Happy birthday, Sugar,"

They pulled away, Nicholas had grabbed Lycian's hand and guided him into the house as they walked away.

"Happy birthday, gorgeous," Elio said, holding the cake with one arm and tenderly hugging her with the other.

He stepped back and patted her on the head before continuing to their kitchen.

Drake was the last to enter, and he faintly smiled at her as he did so. In his hands, he holds out a blossom of flowers, which he places in front of the girl.

"Happy birthday, Daisy,"

She gave him a sweet smile and placed her arms around his neck, bringing him into one of her loving embraces, which warmed his heart once more.

They pulled away and she took the flowers from him, sniffing them lightly and smiling.

Drake moved over to join the others when Angel had locked the front door.

Angel had arranged an entire day with the others for Daisy, even though he wished he could have her all to himself.

He approaches her, wraps his arm around her waist, and walks them outside to their garden, where everything is set up.

Daisy was deep asleep with their son in her arms when Angel and the boys set it up late yesterday night.

Ian and Miya, unfortunately, couldn't make it, due to being away on business for work. But this morning they both had face-timed her on a group chat, talking to Daisy and wishing her for a few hours.

Daisy and Angel had taken a step outside and Daisy had let out an audible gasp as her eyes went straight towards what was in front of her.

Her gaze wandered across the yard, taking in the long wooden table in the centre, which was laden with Daisy's favourite foods.

Balloons in pink and yellow were hung all around the table, and some were even attached to the seats. She kept looking around, seeing her favourite people laughing and smiling.

Daisy turned to face her husband, tears welling up in her eyes and her small arms encircling his muscular frame.

Angel chuckled, amused at how easily his Moonlight could be impressed, particularly when it came to him.

"I love it so much, Angel," She whispered against his chest.

With a small smile on his lips, he took his hand under her chin and lifted it towards him.

Her caramel eyes memorising him once again, he gradually leant down to graze his lips over hers while her heart sped up tremendously.

"And?" He whispered, and she frowned, confused, before realising what he meant.

She smiled sheepishly and whispered back, "And... I love you,"

His lips were adorned with a full dimpled smile, and he gently pressed his lips against hers.

She melted under his touch and kissed him again with the same gentleness.

He moved his lips to her cheek, placing a soft kiss against it, and whispered once again, "I love you."

The two pulled away, smiling and madly in love all over again.

As the pair walked outside to the others, Nicholas ran up to his mother and hugged her. She picked him up and propped him on her hip and walked them both to the others.

Elio held out the chair on the end of the table and motioned for her to sit down, she grinned and sat down with Nicholas.

"Mama, I wanna have the cake now," Nicholas whispered, only for her to hear.

She considered if she should eat before cutting into the cake, but when has she ever not eaten dessert before dinner?

She smiled at her son and said, "Okay," making him the happiest little child on the planet.

"Angel," Daisy called, he turned around from the plates he was gathering from the table next to Drake and looked towards Daisy.

She smiled cheekily and her son did the same, "Can we cut the cake first?"

Angel gazed at them both, their brown eyes twinkling with a mischievous glimmer.

He rolled his eyes and nodded as he tossed the paper plates aside and grabbed the pink bowls.

Daisy smiled, and Nicholas stood up from his mother's lap, clapping his hands excitedly.

Elio picked up the little boy as he had run over to him and propped him up onto his hip.

Drake began to light the candles on the large, round cake with her name strewn across it in bright yellow cursive writing.

Angel came beside Daisy as they both stood in front of it, the group of boys in front of them started singing the classic happy birthday song while Daisy blushed with embarrassment, and yet also flushed with adoration.

Daisy giggled at the sight of four grown men, particularly mafia men, singing her happy birthday. She gushed and smiled at them all as Angel kissed her twice on the cheek.

Everyone erupted in cheers as Angel held Daisy's hair back while she bent down and blew out her candles.

Nicholas had escaped his uncle's grasp and dashed up to his mother, embracing her legs tightly as he wished her a happy birthday for the seventh time today.

Angel lifted him and moved him to Daisy, kissing her on the cheek before latching onto Angel.

The family of friends celebrated Daisy's birthday for the whole day, filled with laughter, food, and genuine happiness.

Because Angel made her birthday's feel like she was absolute royalty, he had been spoiling the girl all week. Showering her with gifts every day, up until her very birthday.

Everyone had gone home at the end of the day, the couple's son was fast asleep in his bed, and Angel was now ready to give Daisy her final surprise of the night.

Daisy sat slumped on the couch, her body and her energy exhausted by the day's events.

When she felt someone approaching, she drew her gaze away from her phone and towards the person.

Angel came in front of her and extended his hand to her. She gave him a speculative glance, which caused him to roll his eyes.

"I've got one more thing for you," He spoke, and she glanced at him with wide eyes.

"Angel, you've spoiled me enough," She huffed as she took his hand in hers.

He rolled his eyes again, disregarding her protests because he knew he'd never stop spoiling her.

Angel escorted her up their staircase and into their bedroom. As they entered the room, Angel instructed her to sit on the bed and wait for him.

She watched his retrieving figure move towards their large closet, she ducked her head to the side to try and see what he was doing, but knowing her well enough, he shut the door and she huffed in annoyance.

Angel stepped back into the room with his hands behind his back after a minute of retrieving the gift.

He took a seat next to her, and she crossed her legs while turning to face him.

"I have two surprises," He reconfirmed with a small smile and she sighed heavily but still was profoundly appreciative.

He first reached behind his back and placed the small black bag in front of Daisy. Her gaze was drawn to it, and she examined it with curiosity.

Daisy returned her gaze to Angel, who motioned for her to open it. Daisy did as instructed, unwrapped the little bow that connected the bag. Her fingers had delved into the bag and grasped a little package.

She took it from the bag and inspected the navy blue, squared box. She fumbled with the lid, removing it and interacted with white tissue paper in the process.

Removing the tissue paper she had successfully made it to the finishing product.

The sterling, diamond-encrusted necklace with the words 'Daisy' etched on it, was placed in front of her. Her delicate fingertips grazed over the necklace as she gazed at it with sincere love.

"Like it?" Angel's accented voice questioned her, forcing her awake from her reverie.

She gave him a loving expression and tightly put her arms around his neck, making him chuckle.

"No, I love it," She kissed his cheek twice and asked him to put it on her.

She sat forward on the bed and spun around, holding her hair up for him. He placed the necklace around her neck, gently, and secured it.

As she twirled around to face Angel, her hand let go of her hair, which then flowed down her back.

"Well, how does it look?" She asked, tilting her head to the side and staring at him.

He smirked and wrapped his arms around her waist, "Beautiful."

She blushed and turned to her side, the mirror opposite them. revealing the gleaming jewellery around her neck.

Angel began to take his shirt off from the mirror's view, causing her eyes to jump back to him in surprise.

"Close your eyes," He said, and she blushed crimson and closed them, her mind going to sinful places when she caught a glimpse of his hard toned abs.

"Open, Moonlight,"

When she reopened her eyes, she saw her husband shirtless, but her attention was pulled to the newest tattoo on his previously tattooed chest.

When she saw her engraved name with a crescent moon beside it, her heart stopped totally. The tattoo was placed directly on top of his heart.

Her heart thumped loudly in her chest as she lifted her palm towards the tattoo, that was covered in plastic, the outline of her name in cursive along with the crescent moon next to it.

"Angel..." She whispered and glanced up at him.

His hand came under her chin and lifted her attention towards him.

As their mouths hovered over one another, her doe eyes drilled into his. She closed her eyes as she felt his plump lips press against hers, his sweet taste luring her in like a drug.

She crushed her lips into his and cupped his cheek with her palm.

His hand, which had been resting on her chin, moved behind her neck, dragging into her hair as he drew her closer to his lips.

After a longing, deep-filled kiss, that had them both panting with passion, Angel pressed his head against her forehead and looked into her eyes.

"Only for you, Moonlight,"

The words flowed out of his mouth like scorching fireworks in the sky, piercing her skin and coursing into her veins.

She sighed and leant her head on his chest, absently brushing the tattoo with her fingers as she smiled faintly.

"I'm so happy," She mumbled against his skin, his hands soothingly sliding over the back of her thighs.

"Me too, Moonlight," He said profoundly as his head came to rest on her neck and he lightly placed his lips on her skin.

The night comes to an end with the two of them in one other's arms, both hearts full of love and warmth.

With one last I love you, the young girl slept soundly in her Angel's arms, her soul right at rest with him.
