Third-person POV

The girl stood there watching as her boyfriend opened the stained glass doors for her, she smiled and stepped through.

Her eyes widened as she gazed about the area; she had been to many places previously, and her boyfriend had made sure she saw incredible things, particularly during their trip to Italy two years ago.

Although it wasn't a greenhouse, the room reminded her of one. The entire room was constructed of glass, which allowed you to see the beach and the night sky outside. The ceiling was an arch, and the roof was see-through. It was more than ideal.

She took a look around the room and noticed a plethora of bright flowers suspended from the high tops of the ceiling and dangling in mid-air. Golden fairy lights draped around the ceiling, illuminating the area and making it even more beautiful.

She then spotted the rose petals beneath her feet, gave them a quick glance, and followed the trail up to where it led.

There was a glass circular table with two wooden black chairs on either side, and the rose petals ended at the table legs. A large candle burned brightly in the centre, and she could smell vanilla, her favourite scent.

Her eyes watered, and she didn't want to cry and humiliate herself, but she couldn't help but be grateful to the man beside her, who had done it all for her.

She shifted her weight to face him, her gaze catching his. He looked down at the girl, saw the tears in her eyes, and out of anxiousness, the foolish thought that she didn't like it sprang into his thoughts.

But that notion evaporated when her small arms curled around his neck, her frail body pressed against his, and she crushed her face in his neck.

"I love it, Angel." She whispered, two silent tears falling down her cheeks.

As he placed his arms around her, his heart beat furiously, and the warmth of her body never managed to escape him. She was like the ultimate drug, that he would overdose on every time.

They drew back, and he felt himself being suffocated by her brown orbs.

Her lips drew close to his, and she gave them a soft peck, causing butterflies to appear in his stomach.

They both backed away from each other, and he led her to the table.

She sat down after opening her chair, and he pushed her seat in before striding over to his side.

The two sat comfortably in their seats, the sound of the wind and waves breaking outside the room providing a temporary distraction.

Angel made sure the room was heated since he didn't want her to be cold or sick because of the inclement weather outside.

Daisy was still stunned and amazed as she looked around the room. Every time he took her out, whether it was for a small or large engagement, she seemed to be amazed.

The girl had no idea that the date night would be anything but average. No, the angel in front of her had a plan to make her his for the rest of her life.

Angel and Daisy started talking, with Daisy mainly informing Angel about her college life, classes, and everything in between. He knew she didn't like champagne and didn't drink much anymore, so they shared two glasses of orange juice in champagne glasses.

Angel was captivated by her and never took his gaze away from her as she spoke. Daisy tries to keep her blush at bay when he does that; his focused look made her squirm in her seat, but she liked it since it indicated he was actually listening.

The two fell silent as she sipped the last of her orange juice.

Angel shifted his sight away from her and slipped his tatted hand into his pocket as he sensed it was time.

She had been completely oblivious to everything, having failed to observe him take out the small crimson velvet box. Until she did, that is.

He rose up, drawing her focus to him. As she saw him walk over to her side, she became confused and unintentionally shifted her weight towards him.

Daisy's heart beat was the same as Angel's, though he managed to hide his anxiety as well as he always did.

He then knelt in front of the girl, whose eyes widened as she realised what he was planning for tonight.

Angel raised his eyes to her, "Daisy," he exhaled, and she bit her lower lip to keep the smile at bay. "I love you, so much," Looking into her eyes, he says.

"No one else in the universe has the power to make me feel the way you do. All of my love is solely for you." Daisy's heart melted at his words already feeling the tears coming.

"And I don't want to share the remainder of my life with anyone else, not one person or thing."

He opened the box to reveal the most valuable diamond ring, he knew she would adore.

"Marry me, moonlight?"

Tears streamed down her cheeks, and arms flew up from her sides as she crashed her entire body onto him.

He stumbled back, but his reflexes kept them both stable; she kissed his cheek and nodded, "Yes."

And it was all he needed to hear to feel whole in his life.

He placed the ring on her ring finger, her eyes glistened as she glanced at the precious stone. Though she didn't care at the time, all she knew was that she would spend the rest of her life with her sweet Angel.

Their soft lips pressed sensually against each other, and he could taste the vanilla and sweet orange on her lips just as she could taste his typical irresistible mint.

"I love you, Angel," she said against his lips as they backed away.

"I love you, my moonlight," he said with a smile.

The engaged couple rested under the moonlight for the remainder of the night.
