Rosemary's P.O.V

Violet was acting out. Normally, I wouldn't be surprised by it but I was now. I had started to think that she was different.

Well, she was still a pain in the ass. Violet was still behaving like the childish spoiled brat that she was. Still bossed people around and manipulated others into doing what she wanted.

The other day, she actually got a dude to run back and forth to bring her drinks. Not only for herself but for her friends as well. What did the guy get out of it at the end? Nothing, only a thank you. That would have been okay if her friends weren't laughing the whole time. And if Violet wouldn't have made it seem like she was going to give him more than a simple thank you. The fool was tricked!

Of course, what did he expect? The dumbasses of the guys still tried getting at her. Still tried flirting, as if they had a chance. It was all Violet's fault though, she made them believe it. Just to manipulate them into doing her favors.

It was Friday and thanked god, classes were done for the day. Now there was nothing to do. Other than to relax and enjoy the afternoon. Today was actually a sunny day, meaning that the pool sounded perfect. Although, there were probably a lot of people there, for the same reasons. Nick was most definitely going to be there, checking out the girls. By the way, trying to cast the next girls for Edgar's erotic films. That prick was annoying, always trying to get girls to play in little perverted movies.
Believe it or not, there were actually some girls who accepted! They had no respect for themselves. No dignity. Nick promised them who knows what. Also a bit of money. Either way, it was disgusting. Why would they expose themselves like that? It didn't make sense to me.

"Fuck, I'm so sexy," oh my god, Violet was checking herself out in the mirror. Had her back to the mirror and looked over her shoulder, staring at her own ass. "I'm such a goddess," she struck another pose.

"Shut up, I'm trying to study," I scoffed loudly, only because she was on the second floor. I was downstairs on my bed, watching as how she kept selfishly complimenting herself. By the way, I was not even studying, just wanted her to shut up.

"No, you're not. You're just lying there," Rachel was so considerate enough to point out. What was it to her? This was no longer her room, why was she even here? Seriously, this girl spent more time in here than in her own room.

"But I'm going over the work in my head," I retorted, not letting her win at this.

"Bullshit!" her eyes squinted. "Whatever," she sighed and stood from Violet's bed. Instead, walked up the stairs. "What are you going to wear to wear tonight?" she squealed out of excitement while walking towards Violet.

Tonight? That caught my attention instantly. As I laid back on the bed, I kept my eyes on them. Eavesdropped on their conversation.

Violet grunted slightly, "I don't know," she lost her posture as her arms crossed, facing Rachel now. "I don't have anything to wear," she complained. That was plain stupid. Violet had closets filled with brand new clothes.

Footsteps were heard, that's when I wasn't able to see Rachel anymore. That meant that she walked towards the closet. Yup, the closet doors were heard next. Hangers were heard being moved around. By the sound of that, she was looking through the clothes.

"Violet, can I borrow this?" Rachel asked. I sat up on my bed but still couldn't see what she was holding up.

I was able to see Violet though. She was examining it.

"Sure, my dad bought it for me like three months ago in France," she informed. What the hell, no one even asked her. "Guess what, my dad is going on a business trip to Italy today and he promised to buy me a few things," she jumped in place, excitedly.

"Wow lucky!" Rachel exclaimed, sounding like she wished she were Violet. More hangers were heard. "And can I borrow this skirt?" she then asked.

"Of course," Violet allowed without a problem. I had to admit, when it came to her friends, Violet was very genuine. Very generous. That proved that she was a real friend. By what I had seen, Violet deeply cared about Rachel and Lucy.

Hearing enough of their dumb conversation, I stood on my feet and decided to walk upstairs.

"Hello girls," I grinned, in attempt to upset Violet. It was so much fun. Honestly, I couldn't get enough of it. It had become my favorite hobby.

Even after we kissed, she acted like nothing happened. If anything, she acted meaner with me.

"Can you not bother us," Violet requested. "I'm trying to find something nice to wear," she started looking through her closet.

I sighed, "Whichever will look okay," I stated while taking a seat on the bean bag chair.

Violet's head tilted to the side, "Did I ask for your opinion?" she questioned. I shrugged, carelessly. "Oh and I know I'll look gorgeous in anything," she bragged about it again. "Seriously, how were my parents able to make such a cutie," she spun, in demonstration.

Rachel turned around to look at me, "I wonder how her parents were able to make her so sexy," she said to Violet. Wow. I actually felt the heat rush to my cheeks. I tried playing it cool by winking at her.

"Oh my god, Rachel," Violet gasped. "You have such low standards," she stated. Violet was just jealous. There was a small booklet to my side, laying on the ground. I picked it up and threw it at Violet, hitting her leg. "Stop!" she shouted, picking up the booklet and tossing it back to me. I moved to the side slightly, dodging it.

"Hey, be careful, that could have hit me," I pretended like if it wasn't meant on purpose. I knew perfectly that it was going to upset her.

"That's what it was suppose to do!" she grunted through her teeth. Her hands balled into fists.

"Chill out, you're going to get wrinkles," I warned. Instantly, Violet stopped and stretched her face. Looked in the mirror, worried as hell.

Then turned to her best friend, "Are there any wrinkles?" she asked, panicking. Wow.

"No, you're fine," Rachel calmed.

"Fuck, this girl is going to make me get gray hairs," Violet exclaimed, sounding angry with me. Like if I even cared. I had grown used to it.

"Forget about her," Rachel tried getting Violet to focus on her. "Keep looking through your closet," she tried distracting.

That was not gonna be easy.

"Violet," I called for her attention. Grinned when she looked at me. Her jaw clenched out of irritation, just by the sound of my voice. I was amazed by the affect that I had on her.

"Wherever you're planning on going, you can't go," I stated and laid back on the bean bag chair. Smiled widely while crossing my hands behind my head.

Violet licked her lips, "Rosemary, I don't have time to argue with you," she tried maintaining calmed. "Please don't bother me," she requested and proceeded to look through her closet.

"Eh, no," I continued. Making her eyes close, as she tried her hardest to stay calmed. "You were not given permission to go out," I stated, meaning that her plans to go out were not gonna follow through.

"No one has permission, we're all sneaking out," Rachel snorted, causing Violet to nudge her in the ribs.

"Not helping," she muttered through her teeth.

"Oh, really?" this got my interest.

"Duh," Violet rolled her eyes at me.

"Fine, you can go," I allowed.

"As if I even needed your permission," she snorted and continued looking through her closet.

"Whatever but I'm going too," I decided.

Immediately, Violet froze on the spot. "Rachel, what did she just say?" Violet wanted it to be confirmed. Before Rachel could answer her, I did.

"That I'm going," I repeated and stood from the bean bag chair. Walked towards her, now standing behind her. Turned her around, her body stiffened. There was confusion and shock in her eyes. Smiling, I added, "We're gonna have so much fun."

"You can't go," she mumbled out.

"I'm going to the bathroom," Rachel said and hurried into it. It really sounded like she needed to go.

A strand of Violet's hair was in her face. My fingers held it and placed it behind her ear.
"Don't even try running away from me, I'll catch up," I stated while taking a step closer to her. She gulped down hard but tried playing it cool. Too bad for her, I saw it. "What's wrong, Violet? Am I making you nervous?" I asked softly yet a bit teasingly, close to her lips.

Her eyes shifted to my lips a few times, "N-no," she stuttered, giving herself completely away.
I could feel her warm breath on my lips. She breathed heavily and nervously. That made my heart pound hard against my chest. Being this close to her caused an intense feeling in me. It was as if my body was aching for hers. Wanting to get closer, wanting to be pressed on hers. Wanting the touch of hers, wanting to feel the warmth of her body. Simply feeling it's presence.

I gulped down hard too, now my lips ached and quivered for hers. This was all too intense. My hands began to sweat and shake. This had backfired in a way, now I was loosing it as well. It started off with me being in control but now I felt just as lost and confused. My eyes shifted from her eyes to her lips a couple of times.

This was unexplainable.

"Violet, have you picked out anything yet?" Rachel was heard walking back to us.

At that very moment, I stepped away from Violet.

"I'm going, so don't try convincing me of not going," I spoke firmly and went down the stairs. Violet didn't say anything, just stayed quiet. I didn't bother to look back, I couldn't.

"Violet, what's going on?" Rachel sounded confused and concerned.

I hurried out of the dorm room. Closed the door behind me and leaned against it. What the hell was that? I asked myself. For a moment, I saw her as... well I couldn't exactly describe it. Only that... the image of her as a bitch blank out of my mind. Just for a second. I saw the innocence in her eyes.

I didn't even know where she was going, yet I signed myself up.

-

All of a sudden, Violet did not want to go anywhere. From what I heard from Rachel, they were planning on going on a double date. Nasty! Also, it was with guys!

"What's wrong with you now?" I questioned. Seeing how she was in bed. Looking all sad.

"None of your business, Rosemary," she sighed, hiding under the covers.

I pulled the covers off her, "Are you really not going on your date," I air quoted, "because of me?"

If I would have known, I wouldn't have signed up.

"You're not that important, Rosemary," she rolled her eyes.

"Then what is it?" I motioned for her to go on.

Violet paused. Seeming stuck. As if she were trying to come up with something.

"Bitch, I don't want to, that's why," she snickered.

"So you're just being difficult for no reason?" I crossed my arms at her.

Taking another pause, her jaw clenched. I eyed her to add pressure. Violet groaned, "My dad made me mad!" She claimed, though I didn't fully believe her.

"Yeah? How?" I went along with it either way.

"Because he promised to take me out on a weekend trip but then cancelled," she stated.

Hmm, it sounded like something that could happen. Maybe she wasn't lying? Her parents tended to do that.

In case she were telling the truth, I offered, "If you want, I can talk to him and see if he'll plan another weekend trip."

After all, it seemed like I had a way with the Delaneys.

Surprised, Violet's eyes grew big, "Really?" It's like she didn't expect it.

"Yeah," I shrugged, nonchalantly.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Violet's arms wrapped around my neck on the bed. Since it was a sudden one, we fell back on it. "You're the best!" she jumped on me.

"You're welcome," I laughed. Violet then started tickling me which pleasantly surprised me. The laughter wouldn't end as her fingers pleasantly tortured my belly. "What... are... you... doing?" I gasped through breaths and laughter while trying to stop her hands.

Why did it seem like she was trying to distract me? Violet was acting extremely weird. More than the usual.

Violet stopped and looked down at me, "I don't know," her eyes shifted elsewhere. Got lost in deep confusion. Yet, remained straddling me. Laying there, I stayed quiet. Um okay it just got awkward.

Seeing her so confused, brought back the memory from when we kissed. Having her like this on me, was not making things any easier. It only gave me the urge to kiss her lips again. I hated it! And loved it all at once...

"Violet," I held her chin, directing her to look at me. Her eyes met mine. Confusion filled them. I gulped down hard, not knowing what exactly I was planning on doing next. My lips were asking for it. They desperately wanted to come in contact with hers. Without thinking it twice, I pulled towards me, gently. And that's when our lips pressed on one another.

Violet stiffened as my lips slowly nibbled on hers. As if still asking permission. My heart was racing. It skipped a beat once I felt her lips return the kiss. Leaning down more, her hand cupped part of my face. Now that I knew that it was okay, my hands roamed to her hips, holding on to them. Very gently and respectfully. There was a fear of scaring her away. That's why I was being delicate while touching her. My hands barely held her, just enough to secure her close to me.

The kiss intensified as our lips opened more. Pressed even more on each other. As much as I needed to take a moment to breathe, I couldn't separate our lips. That was only going to end the kiss and she was probably going to run away. I couldn't give her the chance to leave, not just yet. There was no tongue but the kiss had become more passionate.

It was sweet.

My hand left her hips and moved up her back.

"Rosemary!" Violet parted from the kiss. Both of us panted, gasping for air. "What the hell are we doing?" she questioned, appearing to be in shock. Quickly climbed off me and hurried to the other side of her own bed. Underneath the spiral stairs.

Avoided eye contact with me.

Jumping off the bed, I hurried to her.
"I'm sorry, I was totally out of line," I gave my apologies. "It'll never ever, ever, ever, ever happen again!" I assured. Hopefully that was going to set the point. I really didn't want to hear Violet screaming, insulting and threatening me over this. I had enough of that already.

"What?" her forehead creased. What else did she want from me? Did she want me to swear on it?

"I swear, I won't ever do such horrible thing again," I reassured and wiped my mouth. "You see, it meant nothing," I lied. It meant so much to me but I had to lie to her. To make her feel better. Just so she wouldn't get the wrong idea, well the correct one, which I did not want her to know.

Her jaw clenched, "It meant nothing to me either!" she scoffed and chewed on the inside of her cheek. Now seeming upset. "You know what, why don't you just get the hell out of here! Leave me alone!" she stormed up the stairs.

What the hell? I thought she was going to be happy about promising her to never do that again.

Violet was so childish!

**********

Rather fighting with Violet about something so dumb. I preferred to talk it out with her. To keep peace in the dorm room. That would have been easier if she wouldn't have ditched class. How could Violet do such thing? What the hell was wrong with her? She was definitely acting up. I actually thought she had changed a bit but no. Again, she went back to her old ways.

It was upsetting. Also, maybe because she was getting frisky with a few people during the past few days. Seeing her with a stupid blonde junior got me all worked up but of course, I couldn't do anything about it. I had no right.
Yesterday, I saw her making out with a girl from another class group. They were hiding in a room. As much as I wanted to tell Mr. Hastings, I just couldn't. Snitching would involve getting Violet in trouble. And honestly, I didn't want that. It was only going to jeopardize the relationship between her and her parents even more.

I got sent out of class to take something to the office. On my way back, I took the opportunity to look for Violet. Hopefully to talk to her or at least to make sure that she was staying out of trouble.

I went to all of her favorite places on campus. The yoga room, the dance room, the game room, the cafeteria and to the pool. Then I went to where I would rarely see her at. Like the study room and the library.

Unfortunately, she wasn't anywhere around.

"Hey," I stopped a group of her girls. "Have any of you seen Violet?" I asked.

They looked at one another. They shook their heads, except for one of them.

"I saw her with Aaron," she answered.

"Who's Aaron?" I asked.

"A guy who she was making out with," she added.

My heart clenched like a fist. "Um, do you know where they are?" I tried my hardest to stay calm. I bit on my tongue, which somewhat helped.

"I saw them going into his dorm room," oh hell no!

My hands balled into fists. My nails dug into my skin. "Which one is his dorm room?" I chewed on the inside of my cheek.

"I think it's dorm number three," she gave the final information.

"Thank you," I jogged past them. Damn, Violet was so stupid! Why would she even sneak over there? It didn't make fuckin' sense. Hell no, she was not going to do something stupid with that asshole! I was not going to allow it. Sure, I didn't stop her from making out with the other people but I had enough of it. Enough was enough!

Just like I had been instructed, I snuck to the guy's dormitories. Luckily, Mr. Hastings was not around. Girls weren't allowed in this area of the school. Just like the guys weren't allowed by the girl's dorm rooms.

I stormed my way to dorm room number three. And just like that, I opened the door. There she was. Violet was on top of the dude, making out with him. What made me cringe the most, was seeing his disgusting hands holding her ass. Her skirt was too short, he was practically touching her bare ass. Oh, so he was already getting touchy-feely!

"Violet!" I shouted. Startled by it, she flinched and looked over her shoulder. Her expression when blank.

Jumping off Aaron, she adjusted her skirt. "What the hell are you doing here?" she questioned, processing it. The dude looked shocked to see me here as well. He stood from his own bed and stayed quiet.

I sighed, honestly, I was too disappointed in her. "Nothing," I bit my lower lip, holding back my tears. "Keep having a good time," my voice almost cracked. All in a rush, I closed the door and ran down the hall. My heart was overwhelmingly aching in pain that I didn't even care if Mr. Hastings was around. Whether I got caught or not, I couldn't less.

-

Safe in my room, I released my tears. My heart ached in my chest. I still couldn't believe what I just seen. I hated that I was hurting this way over Violet. I knew it was a bad idea to like her. Not like I could help it.

"What the hell was that about?" Violet stormed into the room.

I could not let her see me crying! Discreetly, I wiped my tears off and turned around. "I have to babysit you, remember!" I used as an excuse.

"But you didn't have to break into his room!" She argued. My heart twisted, hurt, to hear her defend him.

"You're so dumb that you'd probably end up pregnant if I didn't intervene!" I scoffed. I wanted to be
