Call me when you are done.

The emotion in Axel's eyes kept revolving in mind.

I shook my head. Maybe, I was just frustrated that he turned us around from the city right when we were so close to Gran.

I collected the heavy skirt of the gown and did my job. When I was done, I walked towards the wash basin with 'oohs' and 'aahs' as my knees were hurting everytime I stepped ahead. Washing my hands, I shut the tap and wiped my hands with nearby hung towel.

All of a sudden, the door opened. I gasped as I was shocked by audacity of the intruder who closed the door too. Before I could look back, someone grabbed my waist and turned me around.

My eyes widened and squeezed shut in shock when Declan pushed me back to the wall beside the closed door.

I gasped while opening my eyes at the immediate close proximity. Declan was nearing and lowering his face closer to me dangerously.

"What are you doing?" I squeaked out in shock while trying to push him back by palming his chest.

He smelled of sanitizer and antiseptic.

Shivers ran all over my body while the butterflies were flying in my stomach. My face turned warm under his intense gaze.

"Shhh. . ." He whispered.

My eyes widened when his eyes fell on my lips.

"Woah! Woah!" I whisperyelled at him. "I am aware of these tricks. You need to move away from me. Remove your hands. You have a mate!"

He shook his head a little, not moving his grey eyes off mine. "I am not doing a sin. You distracted me last night, Misty. Not again. I know, you want this. I want it too."

I gaped at him. "I don't fucking need anything from you. . ." I breathed angrily. "Move back."

He raised his eyebrows and gave me a serious look. "Some moments don't make sense, Misty. But they do, for the future, in the future."

I gulped hard and for a second, my eyes caught his full pink lips. I looked back up in his eyes. "I don't understand," I told him in a whisper.

He smiled slightly while moving so close that our chests were touching. His left hand snaked around my waist to my left side, making my breaths stuck. While another hand cupped my left cheek.

"No one can stop the happenings. We can stop ourselves from choosing the wrongs when they happen," he whispered while looking at my lips.

I gulped and let out a shaky breath. "You have a mate, Declan. Don't do this," I told him helplessly.

"Don't be worried about someone who can live peacefully while seeing me suffering in longing on this side of the border. Your Alpha Rucus had said that there is no barrier between the lovers," he said while looking back in my eyes. "I want to make one between my mate and I forever, Misty."

My heart that was beating faster, ached a little. "You want to do this to hurt her?" I whispered. "You are making her feel worse than what Luna Severa did."

He shook his head while blinking. "I have the right to. You won't understand," he whispered back. "Just know that your admiration for me means a lot to me. You have made a place in my heart. If you hadn't concluded the Moon's message last night, we would have been unable to reach the grounds on time. Leo and Eva could have been dead and the Alpha of this pack would have crossed the border. You saved lives, Misty. You deserve a prize."

A sweet chuckled escaped me. My heart was swelling inside. He looked so hot in that white check shirt. "Your kiss is a prize?"

He smirked. "Find the answer yourself," he said while moving his hand from cheek to the back of my head and pressing his lips against mine.

My eyes closed immediately and hands moved down to his chest to clutch his shirt in my fists.

His moved his lips so softly and sensually, I felt something at the parts of body where I hadn't felt something much before. My toes curled in bliss.

My mind was blown when he opened his mouth and moved his tongue to part my lips. I welcomed him absentmindedly, unable to understand anything. I was just going with the flow.

My stomach was churning so crazy and heart was fluttering madly. He tilted his head and increased the pace, not letting me breath. My fists filled with his shirt, tightened. My chest heaved as he pushed his body against mine, tilting his head to the other side. I could feel his erection against my stomach.

He pulled back to let me pant heavily. His own breathing was erratic. Our noses touched and slowly, he lowered his head to my neck. Leaving sloppy kisses against my bare skin, he took full advantage of my sleeveless gown.

"Declan," I whispered out in between harsh breaths, closing my eyes when he sucked my skin so sensually, I died in ecstasy.

He moaned in response while leaving a trail of his kisses from my bare shoulder to my left cheek. Grabbing my lips by his own again, another passionate kiss followed and the pain in knees was gone.

I smiled in between when loud voices came from the corridor. One was even calling his name. He grunted in annoyance when I pulled back to speak, "We should. . ." I stopped when my voice came out wet and heavy.

He rested his head against mine, mixing our breaths. Our chests heaved against each other. Stealing a last peck on my lips, he moved his head to open his eyes and look at me.

I gulped hard when he smirked and licked his lips. My eyes lowered in sudden embarrassment when I remembered the green juice I had just drank. I moved my tongue across the cheek that was hurt and the pain had lightened.

"Oh God!" I mumbled in embarrassment. "My mouth must be stinking."

He observed my face and chuckled. "Don't worry about it," he whispered. "Your sweet scent covers it all. Right now," he said while glancing down at my skirt. "It's very very rich."

My eyebrows furrowed while my breaths slowly calmed. But heart was still beating so wildly and face was burning.

"You are a very precious female, Misty." He whispered while looking in my eyes. "Do not ever ignore your instincts. The wolf that should have been grown inside you from your mother's genes, might have died when you were born. Because the humanity in you has overpowered that beast. It might never awake in the future. It might never grow to make you a she-wolf. But it will always be there inside you as a sign of you being a Luna's pup."

"What do you mean?" I whispered in shock. "I am pure human."

He chuckled. "Yes, you are. A very important one." His smile faded immediately when he said, "Make the most of it."

"I am sending Axel to take you back." Twisting the knob while staring at me, Declan opened the door. He walked out of the room, leaving me confused and blank.

"A Luna's pup," I whispered to myself absentmindedly.

* * * *

"Thanks," I said while sitting on the chair and looking around.

"No problem," muttered Axel while going back to his seat. He glanced at Natalie who only ignored him. He sat on his chair quietly while palming his face with his elbows resting on his knees.

Eva immediately walked out of Leo's room.

Looking at me, she immediately walked towards me. Her lips trembled when I opened my arms and welcomed her in my embrace.

"Are you okay?" She asked while pulling away to straighten up and observed my feet.

I shook my head a small smile. "I am fine. Are you?" I asked quietly while observing the marks of claws on her cheek. The wound had healed but the scars remained.

"How can I be fine, Misty? I feel like a walking corpse."

My heart bled for her as she smiled sadly and sat beside Natalie.

"I heard you blew fire on Zac?" said Eva while chuckling briefly. "You guys have fully planned to bitter my relations with my pack. Haven't you?"

I gulped hard in shock. Fear spread on my heart. "Is Luna Anne angry with me? Is he. . . alive?" My voice came out in whisper.

Eva chuckled while shaking her head. Her eyes looked dead like a psychopath for laughing when I knew she was hell upset with the fate. Thankfully, she had washed the liner and Kohl from her face. She had changed into a denim and yellow sweatshirt too.

"Alive than all of us here. No one is angry. They are all amused. Thomas gave them such a tea. Thank Goddess, Axel brought them back. Father was close to sending Uncle Robert and Beta Iago to bring you guys."

Natalie widened her eyes while Axel took the support of the chair to lean back.

"They don't bring back annoying pups without beating them," said Eva with a serious face. "Beta Iago was equally angry on Keira too. Though, she is fine, away from all of this shit. Ivan has taken her to Nathan's house that is at the end of the forest touching Western pack."

Stephen came out of the room and so did Declan. I controlled the sudden shy smile from erupting when our eyes met. It felt so sinful.

My eyes moved back to Eva who was giving me a look as if she knew what just happened.

My insides shivered from the embarrassment and I looked away.

"I am bringing the van," Declan told Eva who nodded.

He left the room while Stephen gave me a knowing smile.

I lowered my head to hide my face and started wearing Pete's jacket to look distracted.

"Can Leo travel in such a condition?" Natalie asked quietly.

Eva shrugged her shoulders blankly. "I don't want him to breathe the air of this pack anymore. He will feel better at his home land."

"The paths are plain," said Stephen quietly. "There won't be any disturbance. Leo can bear the movement. I'll be happy to come there and help whenever I am required."

Eva gulped shakily. "I know, Steph. Thank you." She wiped the corner of her eyes hurriedly.

Axel asked, "The future. . . Will he improve to be as good as before?"

Stephen gave him a tight smile. "I hope, he does. I am sure, he will. But no one can defeat the time. The muscles have been hurt badly. I don't feel responses from him during the checks. He'll take time. But he'll heal."

"I'll see," said Eva humorlessly.

Nirvan walked into the room and panted hard. He looked at Stephen. "Someone is here to meet you, Uncle."

We all waited for Nirvan to move aside. When he did, a female with red bandana tied to her forehead walked inside. She had worn black jeans and red cardigan. Her straight black hair reminded me of the Mystics. And suddenly, I recognized her.

My eyebrows raised as Stephen smiled in delight. "Ilona dearest."

The female walked inside with open arms.

"I am so sorry for not coming earlier," she said while hugging him. "I was given a duty to keep eye on Rachel. She is a troublemaker. But she is leaving with me now, for home."

Stephen glanced at me, reminding me that Rachel and Layla were the ones who haven't attended fourth nights and had Lycan mates. Rachel was leaving even before the fourth night. And everyone here were wronged by being informed that her mate was dead.

"Is Uncle Rudy leaving?" said Natalie quietly while getting up and hugging her.

"Of course, not. He will be staying with Beta Louis and his daughter, Thea here for tonight's ceremony. Mikayla is staying too," answered Aunt Ilona while pulling away and hugging Eva.

"Good," said Stephen. "It's good to see the Lycan who had taken her daughter away and didn't even tell who she is mated to. Savina herself couldn't conclude the rank from the scent before leaving. Right?"

Eva hummed while Aunt Ilona hugged and kissed her forehead. "Everything will be fine. He will be fine," she told Eva whose eyes had turned glossy again.

Aunt Ilona turned towards me, making me want to get up. She waved it off by smiling and gesturing for me to keep sitting. Bending down to my level, she hugged me tight and pulled back.

"I am very sorry, dear Misty. I couldn't give you the time an Aunt should spend with her newfound niece."

I smiled back. "It's okay."

She observed my face. "Your father's eyes. Aren't they?"

I nodded while observing her tanned skin and brown eyes. She had average looks but had a bold personality. Her aura was different in a good way.

She chuckled. "We are a team then. I like things that would irritate Gilbert with one mere glance," she said while cupping my cheek. "But you are not a thing. You are Malina's healing."

Her eyes fell on the ruby on my neck. "Malina had asked me to utter a prayer to add the charms to this talisman."

"What was the prayer?" I asked innocently.

"All the good qualities of my Frankie must be inherited by his nephews or nieces. But till now, I hadn't seen those qualities in any of them," she said while looking in my eyes. "I prayed that I would get to see those qualities in you."

I gulped hard.

"I might not have met him. But I have been told by many that he was kind and caring. He stood up for the right and against the unfairness. He was brave. But the best quality of his was to be ready to die for his loved ones. And he proved it."

She chuckled while saying, "I don't want you to die any soon, dear Misty. I want you to hold that spirit within you, to love your loved ones endlessly."

Her smile faded when she explained, "Sometimes, hatred raised the bar and wins temporarily. To change that, extreme love is needed. Just like how light cuts the darkness. Just how Moon shines in the night. In a world where siblings attack each other, you accepted your half siblings. You have forgiven them and loved them as if they are of same blood as of your father's."

"I didn't meet you but I did notice you; how you had saved Natalie on the last full moon night. You helped Eva in talking to Leo. You helped Keira and Ivan too. You helped Natalie too last night. You helped Pete too last night. Eva would have been dead too if you hadn't brought Declan there at the grounds. Malina told me that Frankie would have been proud of you. So am I."

My eyes burned from such loving words, I gulped shakily. She grabbed my hand and observed my face. Her eyes rolled for a second and all I saw was white. My heart jolted in sudden terror. And suddenly, she came back. Her eyes were normal.

She smiled at me before straightening up.

"Gran's waiting for you," she said quietly.

Before I could ask her more, she turned around looked at Axel.

A sigh escaped her and she shook her head. Looking at Eva and Natalie, she said, "Look at me, both of you."

They did and with her tone, I could see that she was a bit strict. But equally sweet.

She clenched her jaws. "What do you see?"

Eva flared her nostrils while Natalie looked scared.

"Your father killed my mate. For a mere reason. A mere subject that created hatred. Frankie is gone bravely, fighting for the fairness, for his sister. But I am here, standing in front of you, alone.  This is karma. For I used to hate the idea of a mate. One of my friends' mates was from Eastern pack. Insecure that pack, asked her to stop doing and practising magic. I never wanted the same to happen to me. Day and Night, I prayed for my mate to die."

I gasped silently while Stephen nodded grimly.

Eva and Natalie lowered their eyes.

Aunt Ilona gave them a broken look. "An alive mate is everything. With him, you exist. Without him, you don't exist. Frankie's pack might respect me, recognize my role as his mate, but inside I am dead."

Eva's tears slid down her cheeks while Natalie glanced at Axel who was standing quietly.

"Love your mate while you can," said Aunt Ilona softly. "You never know when one of you might disappear. You will pass this message of mine to Keira too, Natalie. Will you?"

Natalie nodded quietly. "Yes, Aunt Ilona."

Aunt Ilona breathed in satisfaction while looking at Axel. "And you," she said while walking closer to him.

Axel gulped nervously when she caught his ear and twisted it slightly. He winced while she smirked in amusement. "You did good. Keep up with the good spirit. Your mate will be a lucky she-wolf."

Stephen chuckled while I caught Natalie shutting her eyes in disbelief.

Axel smirked and winced again when Ilona left his ear.

"Now, Eva will take Leo out to the van. You take Misty and Natalie to the little sandy ground in front of your pack house. They are waiting," she said while Axel's smile faded.

Natalie and I exchanged a scared glanced while she further added.

"Stephen will send Thomas there within some minutes."
