Jimin sat on the couch playing with his fingers. He felt awkward being in Yoongi's house after the last he had been there.

It made him feel worse when Yoongi's mother still treated him with nothing but kindness. He felt remorse for the decision he had made. If he could he would turn back time and not have wasted the month away from Suji.

"Jimin." He heard the soft voice of Yoona. He looked up to meet her eyes. She gave him a warm smile. "Yoongi said to tell you to come up to his room." He shyly nods making his way up the stairs.

He was about to knock when the door swung open and a short male almost slammed into him. "Oh my god. Sorry." Jimin didn't respond as he just stared at Ten with a blank expression. The boy's cheeks tinted a light pink. "I-I was just leaving. Um have a good day." The older spoke awkwardly, making it obvious that Jimin made him uncomfortable, and rushed passed the him. Jimin glanced at boy one more time before finally making his way in the room.

Yoongi was sitting on the edge of his bed, Suji resting in his arms. She was wrapped up in a baby blue blanket seemingly asleep. The teen glanced up at Jimin after hearing the door shut. "Hi." He whispered.

Jimin could only smile as he approached the boy sitting next to him. "Can I?" He asked slightly reaching his arms out. Yoongi nodded gently passing his daughter into her others parent's arms.

The younger examined her facial features. She was the definition of perfect from her small button nose, her doll like lips, and soft dark locks. It felt just like when he first laid eyes on her. His heart bursted with joy and pride. This was his daughter. She was his flesh and blood. He created her. He placed a kiss on her forehead. It was a sweet moment.

Until Suji opened her eyes. The moment they landed on him a wailing cry left her mouth scaring not only Jimin but Yoongi as well. "What do I do?" Jimin asked, ashamed he even had to.

"Rock her. That usually helps." The father instructed. Jimin tried but it felt like all he managed to do was make her cry harder. Her eyes were clenched shut and her mouth wide open as she continued to cry in his arms.

Yoongi watched and tried his hardest not to just snatch Suji out of his arms. He kept giving him instructions on things that usually calmed his daughter but nothing seemed to work. He wanted Jimin to succeed in stopping their daughter's cries but the more time passed the more it seemed he wouldn't be able to.

"Here let me try." He finally said. Jimin was quick to pass her over.

"Shh it's okay." Yoongi whispered rocking her. She opened her eyes the second she heard his voice. "It's okay. Daddy's got you. You're okay." Her cries slowly decreased as she stares up at him. "I think she just got scared." Jimin mumbled. Yoongi glanced up at the younger.

Jimin watched with a heavy feeling in his heart. He should be able to calm her not scare her. "Probably cause she doesn't recognize me." He whispered. Yoongi didn't say anything, he just continued to rock the baby.

"Fuck. Maybe this was a mistake." Jimin mumbled hiding his face in his hands.

He clenched his eyes shut feeling tears run down his face. The older sighed walking over to Suji's crib to lay her down. He knelt in front the the younger pulling his hands away from his face and held onto them tightly.

"Shh it's okay. She's a baby, Jimin. She cries a lot." Yoongi spoke gently. Tears continued to run down the teen's face. "Sometimes she cries for no reason. There are times when she will cry for a couple hours straight. It just happens but that can't stop you from being involved in her life." He rubbed the pad of his thumb against Jimin's hand in a soothing way.

Jimin nodded. His face red and eyelashes stuck together with tears. "I'm not gonna lie it can be frustrating and stressful at times but trust me it's so worth it. Don't let this discourage you. This is basically the second time you meet her, it'll take some time for you to learn how to handle this but you will learn." Yoongi tried to encourage him.

Jimin nodded tightening his grip on the older's hands. It was his silent way of saying he was willing to learn.

Yoongi smiled at him, pulling one of his hands away to be able to wipe away his tears. "Okay no more crying." He stood up pulling Jimin off the bed leading him to the crib.

"What if I make her cry again?" Jimin asked hiccuping. Yoongi looked him straight in the eyes. "Doesn't matter Jimin. If she's cries she cries. She's okay. Just try your best to calm her. Nothing bad is gonna happen."

Yoongi watched as he picked Suji up again. He watched Jimin rock her and whispering how much he loved her. Warmth spreading through him as he watched the sight.

It was frustrating how even though Yoongi was angry at Jimin, the boy still managed to make his heart rate rise.
