Yoongi tried to always make the correct choices. Especially if the decision would affect not only himself but others around him. He tried his best to be as selfless as possible. But when it came to Jimin the task became significantly difficult.

Jimin was a topic that caused pins and needles to stab into his heart. It caused him to feel a surge of anger but the anger wasn't just directed towards Jimin. No it was directed towards himself as well.

Yoongi couldn't understand why he felt so hurt by Jimin. The more and more he thought about it the more he felt crazy for the way he was feeling.

Of course he was hurt by the fact that the younger left their daughter. He feared that if he were to let him back into his daughter's life she'd grow attached to him only for him to realize that it truly was too much for him.

Maybe he didn't leave immediately maybe he'd leave a year or two into parenthood. By then Suji would have grown to love him and be around him. It would leave Yoongi with the task of having to explain everything to a toddler.

To Yoongi that was a valid reason as to why he felt hurt and anger toward the teen. But Yoongi knew it was more than that to him. Jimin had broken his heart. And for that Yoongi was angry at himself.

He allowed the younger to hurt him worse than he had even been hurt. It felt like a bad break up, the worse that Yoongi had ever endured. But that's why it confused Yoongi.

They were never together. They had never shared an intimate moment were Yoongi could say he believed that they were something more than friends. They never shared a kiss or had sex since the night Suji was conceived.

Nothing ever happened that would indicate Jimin felt anything as remotely similar to what Yoongi felt. Yet Yoongi was still left heart broken by Jimin. He felt abandoned. And he hated it because it made him feel stupid. He was heartbroken over a boy he was never actually with.

But even Yoongi realized that his reasons shouldn't stop his daughter from getting to know her other parent. She had the right to have him in her life, to be able to build a relationship with him.

For the sake of his daughter Yoongi swallowed his pride and a his hurt feeling.

"I just want to say thank you for being willing to meet up with me." Jimin said trying to reach out and touch Yoongi's hand. Yoongi, not so subtly, moved his hand out of reach.

"So um," Jimin cleared his throat. "Where is she right now. I was hoping to maybe see her."

The older leaned back in his seat playing with the straw of his drink. "Namjoon and Jin have her."

Jimin nodded awkwardly. He didn't know how to start saying what was on his mind. When Yoongi had call him he had practiced everything he would say to make the older forgive him but now that he's in front of the older his mind was blank.

Yoongi didn't make the effort to start the conversation, it was hard enough for him to just be seated in front of Jimin.

It stayed silent up until after a waiter placed their food on the table, that was when Jimin finally began to speak. "I'm really sorry."

Yoongi only glanced up at him but didn't say anything. "I was stupid. And I know it's taken me a while to actually try and come back but I do truly want to be in her life."

The older of the two didn't answer, he simply stuffed his mouth with food, barely looking at him. Jimin began to feel frustration, he wanted a reply. He wanted to know if he would be given the opportunity. "And I want her to know who I am. You and her are all I've thought about since I left. I want to make up for the time lost. I deserve a second chance. I deserve to be able to see her and interact with her. Maybe even, I don't know, spend some nights with her."

Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows. "You deserve to? Why do you deserve it?"

Jimin's lips part before he stutters out. "W-well I'm the one who carried her for all those months.  I-I gave birth to her."

Yoongi raised his hand up to silence him. "Don't use that as a reason. If I could have I would have had her myself. I'm tired of Jin, Namjoon, my mom, everyone," he listened each one on his fingers. "Using that as a reason for me to forgive you for walking out."

Jimin tried to open his mouth to say something but Yoongi lifted his hand up to silence him once again. "Don't get me wrong I know it was hard. I know you struggled I know that but you still left. You still left her with me to care for her on my own-"

"You have your parents. You have your brother. I didn't leave her with you all alone. You have people to take care of her." Jimin cut in, his voice harsh.

Yoongi shook his head rolling his eyes. "She's not their responsibility. The only time I ever fucking let them help me is when I have to go to school or when I'm looking for a job." Yoongi took a deep breath to try to calm his anger. "Let's think of it this way" he said his voice a lot calmer now.

"You are just asking me to just let you back into her life as if it was nothing-"

"It's not nothing I-"

"But what if the rolls had been switched. What if I was the one who walked out on you and the baby would you really be quick to forgive me?" Jimin stayed silent pushing the plate that was in front of him away. "I thought so."

"I don't think you realize just how much it hurt, Jimin."

"I'm sorry." Jimin whispered.

He groaned. "I just want the best for Suji." He mumbled rubbing his temples.

"Okay, this is what's gonna happen." Yoongi started. "Fine. I'll let you see her. You can come visit her but I don't want you taking her to your house. I'm sorry but I don't want her near your parents. They have done nothing to deserve to be near my daughter."

"Thank you. Thank you so much I promise you won't regret letting me be in her life." Jimin bowed his head multiple times.

Yoongi could only hope that was true.
