HARRY

"Yeah baby, Daddy's here, my angel." I whispered into her hair, the baby cuddling into my chest with a content coo going past her lips.

The room was absolutely silent, aside from Scarlett's occasional coos. I didn't really Kay much attention as to why everyone had gone silent, I simply focused on my daughter.

I bounced Scarlett up and down lightly, causing her to shriek in delight, which then caused a smile to break across my face at hearing my daughter's laughter.

"Da," She babbled preciously. Smiling down at her adoringly, I nosed into her hair. "What's the matter, squirt? Is that all you're going to be saying?" I laughed softly, caressing her tiny feet with the tips of my fingers which appeared to have tickled her gentle skin, seeing as she began to kick and squirm in my hold comically.

"Let's go sit down," I murmured to her, though I was already reaching the love seat, where I plopped down with Scarlett sitting on my lap.

Okay, I lied about not caring about the weird silence; it's driving me crazy! I hate being in a room that's full of people, yet nobody is talking.

"Can someone please tell me why you all went silent all of a sudden?" I asked, finally giving in to my curiosity, settling Scarlett so she was standing on my lap, facing me.

"You actually tended to your daughter Harry. I speak for all of us when I say I'm truly shocked." Liam was the first one of the group to speak, his voice gentle.

Quirking an eyebrow at the Wolverhampton lad, I turned my body so I was facing Alexandra, who was sitting on top of the coffee table with Louis rubbing her shoulders.

"Are you mad?" I inquired the brunette who's eyes locked with my own as I spoke to her.

"Why would I be?" She frowned curiously. "Everyone seems to be in disbelief by the fact that I'm spending time with my daughter, I thought you'd be mad or something." I stated what I assumed to be the obvious, motioning to the gurgling girl in my arms.

Alexandra let out a small laugh. "I'm not mad, Harry. I'm quite thrilled you're spending time with Scarlett, if I'm being honest." She promised kindly, cooing softly at Scarlett who was playing with her hands.

Scar squealed in delight when she saw her Mum, her tiny hands now coming to rest in my nose as she leaned toward her mother.

"Hi beautiful! Are you playing with Daddy's nose?" She cooed at our daughter. Alexandra has gotten up from the table and was now closing the small distance between us as she came to take Scarlett into her own arms when the baby began to whine for her mother's attention.

"What are you doing Scarlett Anne?" She laughed as Scarlett huffed cutely against Alexandra's shoulder.

By now, everything had gone back to normal and the lads and Sophia had each engaged one another in distinctive conversations.

"I'm gonna go ahead and change her. If you want to come with us into the room," Alexandra announced, turning around on her heel and walking in the direction of her bedroom.

"You can change her nappy, if you'd like. I've just got to go ahead and grab her clothes." Alexandra smiled warmly, to which I bolder and walked towards the bed, Scarlett laying in the middle of the bed pulling at her shirt.

Whilst I cha he's her out of her soiled nappy and into her new one, Scarlett was pouting and whining pitifully.

"We're almost done, baby." I tried to soothe, watching as my daughter squirmed on the bed, trying to turn on her tummy.

"Woah there, squirt; let me change you first." I chuckled fondly, peering down at the squirming seven month old.

"Here we go!" Alexandra smiled, coming back into view and placing our daughter's tiny clothes on the bed.

"Alright," I chuckled, grabbing Scarlett under her armpits and standing her up on wobbly legs. I grabbed her tiny onesie, and just as I was about to put it on, the words that were written on the front of it caught my attention.

"When did you get her this bodysuit?" I turned to ask Alexandra. She looked up from where she was organizing Scar's baby bag, blushing when she noticed what I was talking about.

"Oh, um- Like three weeks ago? You don't have to put that one on her. I didn't know it was that was the one I chose, I'm sorry." She stuttered nervously, fumbling with Scarlett's extra nappies she had in her hands.

"Don't be sorry; it's so adorable." I promised, smiling fondly at my daughter who was staring up at me innocently.

In the front of Scarlett's pink bodysuit was written: 'My Daddy's Tattoos Are Cooler Than Yours' in white letters. That had to be the most adorable thing I've ever seen, honestly.

"Do you like it?"  Alexandra inquired shyly.

"I love it." I assured, not once hesitating over my answer.

*°*

"She looks absolutely adorable!" Sophia gushed over Scarlett. Because I was the one who had dressed my daughter in her cute pink bodysuit and her jean skirt with her white converse, I smiled proudly.

"She does, doesn't she?" Louis grinned, taking Scarlett out of her baby carrier and into his arms instead.

Scarlett shrieked in delight at the sight of Louis, her little dimples appearing in her cheeks as she smiled. We all chuckled in amusement at the pair, my eyes trained on my daughter's face.

"Where's Alex?" Liam voiced as he sat down next to Sophia and wrapped an arm around his girlfriend's waist affectionately.

"She's getting something from the car." I advised, to which he nodded in understanding. As I moved Scarlett's carrier to the floor, Alexandra made her presence known amongst us.

"Hey guys!" Alexandra beamed as she appeared by y the large table. Sophia and Lottie bolted up from their seats and toward Alexandra to coddle her in a group hug.

"Hey lovelies!" She chuckled once they pulled away, her eyes bright with happiness.

ALEXANDRA

"Hey lovelies!" I chuckled, as we pulled away from one another.

"How are you?" Lottie grinned as she pulled me to sit between her and Sophia.

"I've been good. How've you been? You've gotten so big!" I gushed, brushing some hair out of her face. "I've been great, and thank you." She blushed lightly, her smile warm and welcoming.

"Of course, my love." I winked knowingly, turning my attention to my menu just as the waitress popped by our table.

"Can I start you lot off with anything to drink?"

"This is so bloody delicious!" Louis groaned as he took another forkful from his dish.

"I bet it is. You're eating like an animal." Sophia grimaced lightly, causing Louis to stick his tongue out mockingly.

"Weirdo." Lottie muttered from across her older brother. "I thought you were on my side, little Tommo!" He wailed dramatically, to which Lottie rolled her pretty eyes playfully.

"I'm afraid not, brother." She sighed sadly, to which I laughed as their bickering continued. I teared my attention from the duo, turning back to my own food instead.

Just as I was about done with my meal, Scarlett began whimpering from inside her carrier. I placed my utensils on my plate and turned my full attention to my baby girl.

"What is it lovely? Is my cheeky girl hungry?" I murmured into her hair as I took her out of her baby carrier.

I perched her up on my lap so she was standing in wobbly legs as she played with my necklace gently. "Are you hungry, baby?" I cooed softly, kissing her all over her chubby cheeks, which caused Scarlett to shriek in delight.

"No, you're not hungry; you just wanted someone to play with you, didn't you?" I grinned fondly, placing a kiss to my daughter's temple.

"She's so beautiful, Alex." Lottie sighed tenderly, her eyes trained on Scarlett who was still standing in my lap and holding onto my shoulders tightly. I looked over the young girl and smiled shyly, "thank you." I voiced with a blush coating my cheeks.

"Da!" Scarlett giggled. "What are you on about, baby?" I chuckled as I tightened the tiny little pony tail I had done on top of her head.

"Da!" She shrieked yet again, this time much more determinately. I glanced over towards Harry for a brief moment, only to see he was always peering at me intently.

"Daddy's eating, my baby." I cooed against her cheek, my grip on her tiny body more secure as she began to squirm in my arms.

"Who said I couldn't tend to her whilst doing so?" He inquired softly from across me, already standing up to come get hers

"Are you sure?" I murmured softly. Instead of verbally answering, Harry simply took our daughter out of my arms and into his own happily.

"Positive." He beamed, sitting down in his seat with Scarlett leaning back into his chest contently.

Very well then.
