HARRY

After Europe, we were flying to Asia.

We've been in Thailand for two days, and let me tell you, it's been hell of a two days.

To top it all off, I've been incredibly moody as well. Moodier than usual.

With everything that's happened this past two days, the lads and I were all moved to a different hotel, where more security was assigned and less drama was to be created.

As of right now, I am currently waiting for the security guards to give me my room key so I can go and take a warm bath to rid my body of all the tension.

Unfortunately for me, luck isn't always on my side.

"You, Alexandra, and the baby will be sharing a room for the rest of our stay in Thailand." John, one of the security guards announced, handing me the key to OUR hotel suite.

My eyes widening comically, upon hearing John.

"And why can't I have my own room? That baby will be crying all night! I need my space!" I snapped, trailing after John who had gone back outside to instruct the rest of security on what to do next.

"You aren't having your own room because you have your girlfriend and daughter with you. Why would you want your own hotel suite when you can share? And I'm sure you can have your own space when you go shower." He cackled, clearly not giving a damn that I was seething in front of him.

Huffing like a small child when they don't get what they want, -clearly- I stomped back into the lobby of the hotel, where Alexandra was with our luggage and Scarlett sleeping in her carrier.

"Let's go."

We were coming back up to our hotel rooms after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. When I reached mine and Alexandra's hotel room's door, I waved good night at the lads who were crooning over a shrieking Scarlett.

"Good night, Alex. I love you!" Louis cried, pulling Alexandra into an animalistic hug.

She let out a loud squeal when Louis pulled on her arm. "I love you, Louis. I have to go now, though." She chuckled, adjusting the small girl on her hip.

They kissed and cuddled Scarlett some more before we all parted ways to our rooms.

Since we were going to be sharing a room, it seems that security arranged for the room to have just one bed. How delightful.

As I walked out of the bedroom and into the living room, I caught sight of the baby laying on the floor, having what I'm guessing was tummy time.

"Uh, the room has only one bed." I revealed to Alexandra who had walked out of the kitchen with a water bottle in her hand.

At hearing my statement, Alexandra's eyes widen comically.

"Oh, uh- shit. Um... I can sleep on the couch so you can have the bed?" She offered, sitting down on the floor next to the baby who was cooing animatedly.

I stood behind the sofa with my hands resting on cushions, debating what to say next. It be a dick move from me if I let her sleep on the couch, considering the fact that she's got a baby to take care of.

"We can share the bed; just make sure she doesn't cry so much. I've got an early morning tomorrow."

2:18am and Scarlett's yet to fall asleep.

For some odd reason, she began to cry at about eleven at night and has been going strong ever since. It's unusual for her to be crying for this long, without a motive. I've fed her, I've changed her diaper, and I've checked her temperature. Everything seems to be okay, yet, nothing's explaining why she's crying.

"Oh my darling girl, I wish you could tell me what's the matter. Mummy feels so sad she can't help you." I frowned as I held my wailing baby closer to my chest as my last attempt to comfort and soothe her.

I had moved into the living room around half an hour ago because I didn't want Harry to be woken up by Scarlett's cries. He has to be up at five forty for an interview he and the lads have. The last thing I want is to have a moody Harry, along with a crying baby to deal with.

And just like I didn't want to happen; Harry woke up.

"Jesus Christ man, what's wrong with her?" He groaned, rubbing the palm of his hand over his eyes to rid them from sleep.

"I'm sorry she woke you. We've been up since eleven; for some reason she can't stop crying. I've already fed her, changed her nappy, and I've checked her temperature. Everything seem to be okay, I still don't know why she's crying though." I explained, my tone of voice apologetic as I looked at Harry who was stumbling toward me.

"Give her to me."

HARRY

"Give her to me." I yawned as I stopped in front of Alexandra, my arms awaiting the baby girl.

Alexandra laid the pitifully wailing baby in my arms gently, wiping some of the tears that were cascading down her flushed cheeks.

"It's okay darling. Daddy's got you."

Never in a million years did I think I would be murmuring those words to the small girl in my arms. I don't know what came over me that's made me act all soft toward them, but I'm not complaining, if I'm being honest.

I cradled Scarlett to my chest and began to sway gently as I walked around the living room to try and calm down her heartbreaking cries.

"It's okay, baby. Daddy's got you." I mumbled against the baby's chubby cheek. Thankfully, Scarlett's cries began to die down after a while of my body swaying from side to side in hopes of getting her to calm down.

I went ahead and sat down next to Alexandra who was sniffling against her hands.

"Hey. Why are you crying?" I frowned, laying Scarlett completely on my chest splaying my hands in her tiny, delicate back.

"I'm a terrible Mum. Can't even make my own baby stop crying." Alexandra sobbed as she stared down at a sleeping Scarlett. "Don't day that, Alex. You're not a terrible Mum. Sometimes babies cry just for the sake of crying. I don't think it's something you did, because from what you've told me, you've done everything alright. Maybe she just wanted to be cuddled." I assured the now somewhat calm Alexandra.

"She didn't want cuddles just from anyone, it appears. She wanted you." She sighed tiredly, crashing her back against the sofa.

"I guess she did." I exhaled gently as to not disturb the sleeping seven month old on my chest.

When I got up from the sofa with Scarlett in my arms, I grabbed onto Alexandra's hand and pulled her along with me to the bedroom.

"You get yourself in bed and I'll take care of Scarlett the next time she wakes up." I concluded, ushering Alexandra to get in her side of the bed whilst I went to lay my daughter in her portable crib.

"Good night, baby. Sweet dreams, little girl."

Thanks to Harry, I was able to regain a few hours of sleep before having to wake up again to tend my baby girl who by now was much more happier than earlier in the morning.

"Well hello there gorgeous." I cooed, as I scooped Scarlett out of her cot. After changing her nappy and grabbing a few of her toys, I made my way out of the room and into the living room so I could feed Scarlett her breakfast.

"Good morning, Harry. How come you're back so early from the interview. Was everything alright." I greeted Harry who was laying on the sofa with a blanket draped over his lower body.

He glanced up from his phone to look at me, smiling briefly as he did so. "Good morning. The interview finished earlier than anticipated so we were allowed to come back and catch some sleep before we had to head to the stadium. And it was alright, can't really complain much about it. Everything went smoothly." He explained as I made myself comfortable in the love seat opposite side of the sofa Harry was laying on.

After I got comfortable enough, I proceeded to open the buttons of my oversized sleeping shirt and bring Scarlett closer to my breast so she could begin to nurse.

When Scarlett sensed she was close enough to her food source, she latched in immediately, slightly agitating my sore skin.

"Easy there, darling girl. Mummy isn't going anywhere." I murmured down at my greedily suckling daughter. Harry who I thought was lost in his own little world, let out an unexpected laugh when he heard me talking to Scarlett.

"Are you alright?" He questioned, his attention focused on me and Scarlett -surprisingly- instead of on his mobile phone.

"Yeah, I'm fine. She just gets impatient from time to time." I chuckled fondly, my eyes trained on Harry's face intently.

Whilst breastfeeding my daughter, I noticed how she placed her tiny hand over my heart and let her eyes drop lazily.

"Aren't you something, baby; you like feeling Mummy's heartbeat?" I cooed down at my daughter's, who was now mucho more awake than a few minutes ago. To get her to smile, I poked my index finger against her little cheek, immediately receiving what I wanted from her; a crooked little grin

God, she's so perfect.

HARRY

I laid there in the sofa watching Alexandra interact with the little girl attached to her breast. From what I could faintly hear, she was cooing sweet nothings to the baby who was yet to finish nursing.

"Do you think I can burp her after you're done feeding her?" I inquired, for some reason wanting to be close the little baby that was in Alexandra's hold.

Alexandra nodded her head immediately, flashing a smile on the process.

"Yeah, of course. As a matter of fact, I think she's done eating so you can go ahead and have her. Remember to put the burping cloth over your shoulder, if not she'll spit up all over your shirt." Alexandra noted, standing up with Scarlett and walking toward me, placing the tiny girl in my arms.

"Hello, baby." I cooed down at the baby who's eyes were identical to my own. Scarlett reach out a tiny hand toward my hair when I positioned her over my shoulder to be burped. Her little hands grabbed tiny fistfuls of my hair as I began to burp her, all the while the tiny girl was cooing to herself happily.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Alexandra smiling fondly at, who I'm guessing was Scarlett. Then again, its impossible not to smile around the cute baby.

"Ow," I chuckled when Scarlett's tiny fists pulled on my hair not so gently.

I got her to burp in the span of ten minutes. Afterwards, I stood her up on my lap and held her by her little waist, seeing as she was still too little to properly stand on her own.

"You just love to pull on my hair, don't you squirt?" I teased playfully, pretending to nibble on Scarlett's chubby fingers when the baby nudged them against my mouth.

She let out a loud shriek as I kissed her little hand, her tiny face brighting up with a cheeky grin that made her look just like her mother.

"You're quite the mischievous little lady, aren't you?" I laughed, pressing yet another kiss to Scarlett's tiny hand when the baby continued to poke my lips with her fingers.

A knock at the door was what caused me to tear my eyes away from Scarlett to look over at Alexandra who was already standing up to go and see who was knocking on the hotel suite's door.

I sat there in the living room with Scarlett still standing up on my lap, only now the baby was smacking both of her tiny hands on my cheeks whilst I pretended to cry each time her tiny palm made contact with my cheek.

"You like that, little girl?" I chuckled, causing Scarlett to squeal in pure amusement. I kissed her little forehead gently as she continued to smack and smack my face with her tiny hands.

"Are you done torturing me, Scarlett Anne?" I crooned in a high pitch baby voice, Scarlett giggling cutely.

I was interrupted by Louis who came rushing into the living room, only to stand behind the coffee table, staring at me weirdly, his mouth open agape as he stared between me and the baby standing on my thighs.

"Honest to God, are my eyes playing tricks on me?" He wondered, seeming to be in an awe filled trance.

"What the hell are you talking about?" I questioned., a bit annoyed with his unusual behaviour. He ignored my question and instead began to call out for the lads like a complete and utter maniac.

"Boys!"

Liam was the first to stumble into the living room, his brown eyes wide and frantic, appearing to be startled by Louis's wailing.

"Louis! What's the matter?" He worried, accent thick with nerves and fear; fear of what, I may never know.

Louis pointed towards me and Scarlett; whereas the small girl was too busy playing with my hair to even notice her weird uncles were in the same room as her and I.

Liam's eyes widen even more than what they already were, perhaps catching on to what Louis was whining about earlier?

"Harry, are you okay mate?" Liam questioned. I nodded my head, though I was still genuinely confused as to why they were both so shocked all of a sudden. Before any of us could utter a single word, Scarlett began to shriek loudly when she caught sight of Liam and a Louis.

"Hi there, baby girl. How's Uncle Liam's little love?" He chuckled excitedly, taking the baby out of my arms and into his own; Scarlett cuddle up to his chest immediately.

I frowned momentarily, "I was holding her, Li." I huffed, crossing my arms over my chest like a small child. In that moment, Niall pranced into the room, he too had a look of disbelief etched on his face, his blue eyes screaming with curiosity.

"Something is definitely wrong with you, H. What did you do to her?" The Irish man was quick to accuse.

Oh, so that's what this is all about; Scarlett being with me instead of with her Mum.

"Okay, I get that you lot are not used to seeing me spend time with her, but do you really have to come in here pointing fingers just because I've decided to spend some quality time with Scarlett? Come on now, boys; don't think so low of me." I frowned. I understand their weird behaviour, but their accusations are taking it a little too far. I know I haven't been the best father to Scarlett, but I wouldn't ever dare to put her in harms way.

"What did you do to the baby?" Louis pushed, snapping me out of my thoughts. Crashing my back against the sofa, I let out a frustrated sight.

"Do you honestly think I'd do such thing to a baby?" I questioned, my eyes trailing from lad to lad. Niall and Liam each remained quiet, their faces slowly morphing into that one of guilt. Louis, however, has always had a hard time at biting his tongue and keeping his mouth shut.

"Well knowing you, I wouldn't really doubt it." Louis spat as if it the most obvious thing in the world. The nerve of this arsehole.

"Louis!" Liam roared in disbelief, remotely scaring the baby in his arms, of her cries were anything to go by.

My eyes clouded with tears. I can't believe Louis. Like I said, I know I haven't been the best father to Scarlett, but having Louis -and the rest of the boys, for that matter- think I'd ever do anything to my own flesh and blood; my own daughter, is simply insane.

"You know what? Fuck you Louis." I bit back, standing up from the sofa angrily and stomping toward the main entrance of the hotel suite.

"Haz, you know I didn't mean to offen-" he stammered, filling after me."

"Save it." I growled, pushing last him, only to come face to face with Alexandra and Sophia.

"What's going on in here?" Sophia questioned, her voice firm, yet concerned. Alexandra gazed at me nervously, her finger tips pulling at the waistband of her Adidas tracksuit pants.

"Louis was being a prick." I smiled sarcastically, both girls peering between Louis and myself.

"What? Why? What happened, Harry?" Alexandra frowned, walking toward me and placing her hands on my chest, preventing me from moving forward and out of the room. I pushed her away softly, my hands reaching for the doorknob.

"I'm leaving." Was the only thing I told them before I swung the door open.

"Da!" A tiny voice shrieked.

I knew exactly who that was, and because of that, I remained frozen in my spot, my eyes clouding up with unshed tears.

"Harry- come get your daughter." Liam begged breathily. But as much as I o' so desperately wanted to turn around and go to my daughter, for some reason my body would not allow me to move; I was shell shocked.

"Harry... Please." Alexandra cried desperately.

LIAM

"Harry... Please." Alex cried desperately as Scarlett's pitiful whines grew louder, her tiny hands reaching out for her father.

"Da!" She lisped yet again, tiny little hands opening and closing in grabbing motions. At this point, I was silently begging the Gods above for Harry to come back into the room and take his daughter, who was seconds away from bursting into tears.

We all watched as he slowly turned around, tears evident in his green eyes. Harry walked up to me and took Scar into his arms, holding her close.

"Yeah baby; Daddy's here, my angel." He whispered into her hair as the baby girl cuddled against his chest with a content cook being emitted from her mouth.

What just happened?
