ALEXANDRA
JUNE 9TH 2018.

Florida is absolutely positively gorgeous. It's a bit hot, but nonetheless gorgeous. We've not been in Fort Lauderdale for long, but Harry and I are still trying not to have Scarlett exposed to so much heat, as we don't want her gentle skin to get sunburned. We did, however, spend some time in the pool with her, wanting her to interact with a couple of toddlers that were there with their parents as well. Harry was close to losing it when a little boy (no older than four) waddled his way toward him and Scarlett and helped her build different figures with her toy blocks. She had the time of her life, to say the least.

Whilst Harry worked some things out with Harry Lambert and Hélène Pambrun, Scarlett and I walked around the empty arena for a while before it began to fill up with girls and boys who came to see her Daddy.

"Scarlett, can Mummy have your hand, angel?" I cooed, watching over my daughter who was toodling to and from the few seats that were being set up around what would be the pit area of Harry's concert tonight.

Scarlett flashed the cheekiest of grins my way as she shook her head.

"No Mumma!" My one year old absolutely beamed, no sort of meaning to her cry really, just a happy baby girl who loved doing the opposite of what was told to her.

"Scarlett Anne, you're so cheeky, you are!" I laughed, encouraging her to wave at a few of the staff members of the arena who were walking by us placing chairs around the bare floor. My baby girl giggled cutely a she waved her tiny hand at an older man who passed by her and playfully poked her little button nose.

"You've got a gorgeous girl. Reminds me of my own granddaughter. She's a few years older than your girl, though." He grinned, chuckling lightly when Scarlett followed after him.

"Thank you. She just turned one two months ago. How old is your granddaughter, if I may ask?" I smiled, shaking my head playfully when Scarlett turned to look at me happily, rosy cheeks wide in a toothless grin.

The older man, -who I am yet to ask his name- peered down at Scarlett fondly, a small smile dancing on his lips.

"Amelia -my granddaughter- is six; she'll be seven in October. She's quite the handful. My wife and I have been raising her ever since she was a tiny little thing." He voiced softly, to which I nodded in understanding. I felt my heart ache at his words, though I was not about to butt into his life when I didn't really even know him; it was not my place.

"Sounds to me she's more like your daughter then, pardon me to say." I commented, giving the blue eyed man a warm smile.

"You could say that, yeah. She's my entire world, that little girl." He murmured gently, his eyes holding so much fondness and adoration as he spoke about his girl, I found it completely and utterly heartwarming.

"They sort of crawl their way into your heart and pretty much take ownership of it as soon as they come into the world, yeah?" I voiced kindly, jogging after Scarlett when I noticed my girl had managed to toodle to hide behind a few chairs.

"Indeed they do. They're so lovable one doesn't really mind what they do with you, aye?" He chuckled softly, cooing at Scarlett when I finally had her secured in my arms and away from any more potential mischiefs.

"What's your name? I didn't quite get a chance to ask." The brunette inquired curiously, moving toward the rest of the chairs he's yet to finish setting up.

"I'm Alexandra, and my daughter here is Scarlett. What's yours?" I smiled, kissing the crown of my girl's head when she leaned to rest back against my chest.

"Pleasure to meet you both. My name is Christopher." He grinned, momentarily turning his attention to a woman who had called his name.

Whilst he chatted with the dark haired lady, I focused my attention on my small girl who was nuzzling her face against my neck as her little fingers tugged at my sweatshirt. Okay, I've got to get a move on cus my little miss is greedy for food.

"Well Christopher, it was lovely to chat with you. Unfortunately, I've got to head backstage now to feed my little girl here before she throws one of her fits. Thank you for having taken out of your time to talk to us; that was really kind of you." I announced, beginning to bounce Scarlett on my hip to sooth her little whines so they wouldn't escalate into louder cries.

Christopher looked down at Scarlett and smiled softly. His eyes then shifted toward my face as he nodded his head.

"Of course, of course. I've got to finish setting up these chairs for tonight's show before they start letting the girls in and they have my head. It was lovely to have met you and your little girl. It really was my pleasure to having chat with you; you really do have an incredible little girl. I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in Florida." Christopher voiced, leaning toward us for a friendly hug.

"Say bye bye, baby girl." I cooed, grasping Scarlett's tiny hand and waving it in Christopher's direction.

"Bye sweetheart, you be a good girl for your Mommy." He chuckled, waving a final time at Scarlett before I turned around on my heel and made my way backstage toward the dressing room to give my daughter her lunch.

HARRY

As soon as I was done talking to Harry and Hélène, I went in search of my little family who I found in my dressing room, where my gorgeous fiancée was giving our beautiful girl her midday feed.

"Hello, hello." I murmured, smiling widely at the two as I sat down next to them, pulling Alexandra to rest with her back to my chest comfortably.

"Hi baby. Everything go alright with Harry and Hélène?" Alex smiled, shifting sideways and pecking my lips lovingly. I was quick to wrap my left arm around her waist and hold onto her hip, my right hand resting on my baby girl's chubby belly, stroking her clothed skin whilst she ate.

"Everything went just fine, baby. H just needed me to do a last fitting with tonight's suit and Hélène wanted to show me the pictures from Dallas so I could see which ones I'm going to post." I advised quietly as to not disturb my daughter who was suckling at her Mum's breast lazily, her eyes fluttering sleepily.

"Were you able to choose some of the pictures?" Alex questioned curiously, giggling softly when I began to trail my lips over her neck. I nodded my head yes, though I kept my lips attached to her skin till Alex let out a small whimper.

"I've left quite the love bite on you now, babes." I smirked cheekily, blowing over her marked skin teasingly. Alexandra huffed playfully, pinching my inner thigh with her unoccupied hand, causing me to chuckle as I shifted away from her.

"I hate you."

"No you don't. You love me too much to hate me." I remarked playfully, cooing to myself when I became aware of my sleeping daughter on her Mum's chest.

"That didn't really make sense but go off, I guess." Alex laughed, leaning down and kissing our girl's temple before she stood up to place her down in her playpen for a little nap.

"Come ere'. I want to take a nap with you, too." I whined, outstretching my arms in front of me to pull Alexandra down toward my chest when she had placed our girl down for a few hours. When I had Alex snug in my arms, I draped my leg around her hip to keep her secured in my embrace whilst we cuddled.

She wrapped one of her arms around my torso, whilst her other arm went around my neck so now she was sort of cradling me in her arms; my favourite place to me in the whole entire world.

"I love you." My missus whispered against my temple, her lips pressing to my hair a few seconds later.

"I love you more, kitten." I murmured lovingly, nuzzling my face into her neck and breathing in her familiar scent, a gentle smile grazing my lips as I felt myself slip into a quite and content slumber tucked away in my love's arms.
