Such a wonderful time to get ill. Just absolutely wonderful.

Exactly two days before Christmas, I began to feel poorly. By Christmas Day, I had definitely came down with the flu. I spent as much time with our families, of course keeping a distance, not wanting them to catch whatever it was I had.

So after Christmas passed and our families had gone back home, I scheduled an appointment with my doctor.

As I drove down the somewhat familiar road, I made sure to be precautious of the icy road. Not even 15 minutes later, I was parking outside of Doctor Verlac's office.

"Good morning. I'm here to see Doctor Verlac. I called yesterday and made an appointment for 9:32 am." I smiled warmly at the receptionist.

The older woman flashed a welcoming smile as she typed on the computer.

"Of course darling. I just need your name, dove." She explained.

"Harry Styles." I stated, feeling for my mobile phone in my pocket when it began to vibrate; I'll call back when I'm done here.

"I've got you, darling. You can go ahead and have a seat; you'll be called in shortly. Whilst you wait, I'd like for you to fill this sheet out, please." She smiled, handing me a clip board and showing me where I had to fill in and sign.

"Of course, I'll just bring this back as soon as I'm done. Thank you." I assured, turning around and walking toward one of the many vacant chairs.

As I filled out the medical sheet, my phone began to vibrate once again. Signing the last blank space, I pulled out my phone out of my pocket and brought it up to my ear.

"Hi baby. I'm sorry I didn't answer earlier. I was in the middle of talking to the receptionist. I've just gotten done filling out the medical sheet. Everything alright?" I murmured into the phone, Alex on the other end.

"That's quite alright, honey. Yeah, we're okay. Scar's breastfeeding right now. I was just calling to see if you had arrived there alright." Alexandra explained, causing a fond smile to break across my face. Even when I'm feeling poorly, she's able to bring my mood up and make me the happiest lad in the whole world.

"I got here just fine, kitten. I appreciate you calling me, I know I left quite early today without really saying bye. I miss you." I pouted, well aware she could not see me.

"I'll see you soon though, love. You don't have to miss me then." She giggled cutely.

Alexandra and I continued our quiet chat, that is until a nurse was calling out my last name, letting me know they were ready for me.

"Harry Styles?"

The flu.

Doctor Verlac confirmed what I already knew. Though it was relieving to know it wasn't anything worse and I was no longer contagious, meaning I could take care of my baby girl once again. I had not been able to be near Scarlett since the day I began to feel poorly.

The doctor had prescribed me some pills for my headaches and a liquid medicine for the slight cough I still had. After stopping at the pharmacy, I was on my way home to see my girls.

"You're so gorgeous my love, Daddy loves you so very much." I cooed, threading my fingers through my daughter's messy hair.

Scarlett stared directly into my eyes -identical to her own- and smiled cheekily. Shaking my head fondly, I nuzzled into her chubby belly playfully, kissing at her clothed tummy.

"Dahey," she giggled grabbing a chunk of my hair and pulling excitedly. Almost immediately, I grabbed at her hands and tried to pry her tiny fist out of my hair.

"Alex!" I cried out, and just like that, Alexandra was by my side, grabbing our tiny girl by the her delicate waist and sitting her on her hip.

"It's a good thing you've got shorter hair, if not, you would've been bald." She laughed coyly as she kissed Scarlett's nose.

I glared up at her playfully, watching as Scar nuzzled against her Mum's breast; a massive sight she was hungry.

Grinning fondly at our girl, Alexandra lifted her shirt and unclipped her bra, letting our baby girl latch on to her tender breast for her afternoon feeding.

I've seen her nurse our daughter countless of times, but each and every single time, I get this warm feeling in my stomach and a tightening in my chest every time I see her and our daughter share such intimate and special moment, it's then that I realise how utterly blessed I am to have such an amazing little family.

"I love you." I found myself murmuring to Alexandra who had her full attention focused on our daughter.

As she looked away from our baby and toward me, her cheeks were tinting the prettiest of pinkish colour.

"I love you." She smiled happily, patting the empty side next to her, motioning for me to sit with them.

"You and our daughter are the best things to have ever have happened to me. I don't know what I'd do without you both." I confessed, as I gazed at our daughter nurse from her Mum.

"And you're the best father and fiancé I could have ever asked for. Scarlett and I adore you, baby." She promised turning her head slightly to place a peck on my lips.

Wrapping my arms around Alex's waist and pulling her and our baby into my arms, we spent the majority of our afternoon enjoying each other's company and playing with our baby girl.

On a side note, I know I didn't give you guys a Christmas Special; I wasn't feeling my best, and by the time I thought I'd write one, it was already really late. I promise though I'll write a New Years Special. And because my family and I celebrate Three Kings Day ( I'm Puerto Rican, therefore it's a highly anticipated holiday and we celebrate it every year), I will also write a Special.
