The door to Gabriel's room burst wide open making Gabriel sit up on the bed quickly.

"What the fuck guys?" I heard him exclaim out loud.

I didn't even move except for jolt awake when the door opened. I was buried in a mountain of blankets my face snuggled deeply into one of Gabriel's pillows.

"Gabriel! Hey man. When did you guys get back?" Vincent exclaimed .

I should have known it was them. They had no boundaries.

"Late last night. Now what are you doing here this early morning. And where did you get my keys? ?" Gabriel asked sounding very on edge.

I would be too if someone walked into my place as if they owned the place this early. Actually not this early. Anytime at all. I don't think they had noticed I was here because I was hidden by the covers and Gabriel's mountain of a body.

"I may have taken a spare from the other keys when you moved in here." Vincent admitted innocently. "In my defence these idiots told these to."

I almost laughed at that but I didn't want them to know I was here just yet. Vincent sounded like such a child telling on his elder brothers. I had missed him and the guys. Who were all silent letting Vincent take all the blame.

"Get out!" Gabriel demanded.

"What?! No we just got here and besides we won't be too loud just continue sleeping." Jackson said and I heard them pull out seats and get comfortable.

"Nope. Out out." Gabriel said getting out of bed.

When he moved the sheets covered my whole face and now it's like I wasn't even there.

"Why? Do you have a lady friend over you're hiding from us? Wait are you already cheating on Nia." Vincent asked getting all defensive and I almost aawed at how caring he was towards me and my well being.

"Of course not." Gabriel spat as if repulsed by the idea.

I should do this more often. Listen in on their conversations. It was actually pretty informative.

"Then we're going nowhere. Guys are they any drinks left in the fridge from yesterday?" Paul asked.

"You guys were here yesterday." Gabriel asked shocked and I had to put my hand over my mouth to stop the laughter from bubbling out.

"Yes we've been here everyday since you left. What?! Did you think we would die of boredom while you got it on with your girl in the middle of nowhere." And that ladies and gentlemen was Nick.

Looks like the whole gang was here. I had really missed all of them with their craziness and wild ways.

"Guys I don't want to freak you out but I swear I just saw the bed move." Vincent exclaimed and I could bet he had jumped on top of the seat scared.

To freak him out more I moved my leg a little and he screamed a little.

"What is that?" He whispered.

"Do you have a snake in there?" Jackson asked.

"Who would sleep with a snake in their bed?" Gabriel asked and he seemed like he was holding back a laugh too.

"You wouldn't know. I heard that unless you provoke it a snake would never attack and they seek warmth." Paul said inputting.

I think they watched too many movies. I mean my suitcase was still by the door where we left it last night and my shoes were somewhere in here. How could they think it was a snake and not a human being.

"We need to kill it. Any volunteers?" Vincent asked.

"Guys it's not a snake." Gabriel replied sounding on edge. I think he was fed up and this was lasting too long for him. We were still both pretty tired from the journey. We had both agreed to skip out classes today and just sleep in.

"Someone needs to uncover it first." Jackson said.

I sweat this was just like a scene from a movie.

"I'll do it." Nick said trying to sound brave.

I heard footsteps approaching the bed and before he could uncover me I did it myself.

"Mah!" I exclaimed out loud.

What happened next was exactly like a movie scene and had me and Gabriel burst out of laughing and had our ribs hurt.

They all screamed like scared little girls. Nick stepped back too quickly tripping over the rug and fell down on his bum. Vincent who had been on the chair as I had predicted jumped up on the table shaking in fright. Jackson covered his face as if that would protect him from the so called snake and Paul hid behind Gabriel.

It was a pretty funny sight and it took them a couple of minutes to recover.

"Nia you minx. You almost made Vincent pee his pants." Jackson asked still looking a little freaked out himself.

"Me? What about you?" Vincent exclaimed his voice a little sore from the screaming.

" I'm sorry guys but I didn't know you were all a bunch of little girls." I commented.

Vincent seemed to get out of the daze he was in and quickly made his was from the table and towards the bed tackling me with him.

"I missed you too Vin." I said hugging him back.

"Why did you go without me?" He asked pouting like a child.

"I'm sorry. Next time I'll take you with me." I replied and he smiled.

"Okay enough. Get off my girl you big baby." Gabriel snapped pulling Vincent off me and I smiled at that.

"Hey guys." I said waving to the rest of the guys biting my lip so I didn't burst out laughing again.

They were still pretty freaked out so they just waved back and grunted out their greetings.

"I think I'll go shower." I said go Gabriel who had sat back on the bed.

"Okay but you're coming back right?" He asked.

"Of course." I replied and pulled him in for a quick kiss by the neck.

I didn't care that none of us had brushed our teeth and he didn't seem to mind either when his nails dug into my thigh making me moan. I would have gladly deepened the kiss and but we were interrupted by whistles from the guys.

"Whoa. When did that happen?" Vincent asked.

"You expect them to spend a whole weekend together and come back without having done anything. I'm pretty sure they actually did the deed. Hey look that actually rhymed. Did the deed." Nick said and before they could all internalize that statement I spoke.

"I'm going to take a shower. I'll be back." I excused myself and grabbed my bag, shoes and suitcase and high tailing out of there. I don't care if I was barefoot and dressed in one of Gabriel's T-shirts.

I don't even remember changing into this last night when we got here. Gabriel just have changed me when I passed out on the bed exhausted. When I entered my place I unpacked and put all my dirty clothes in the laundry basket and put back whatever I hadn't worn in the wardrobe.

As much as I had enjoyed my weekend away with Gabriel I had also missed being back in the safety of my own place . There was just something about having your own personal space to be yourself. I liked Gabriel and I liked spending time with him even more but all this was new to me so for the first time in almost a week I breathed out and let my body truly relax. I needed a few moments alone to gather my thoughts and think of what was to come.

Gabriel and I were officially dating and I had no idea what that actually meant. I have never dated anyone before and all this was pretty new to me. I guess I would have to learn as I went because I really liked Gabriel and wanted to see where he and I would end up.

I also had to learn to quite the doubtful voiced in my head telling me Gabriel was a guy just like the rest of them because I knew he wasn't. He had introduced me to his whole family for crying out loud. If that didn't prove anything then I don't know what would. Introducing your significant other to the family was a pretty big deal. It was done late into the relationship when you guys were sure about each other and were planning a future together. When Gabriel introduced me I wasn't even his girlfriend yet. That had to prove something. It had to because Gabriel was one of a kind and he was becoming it for me. I just hope I could keep him.

Shrugging away those thoughts I picked myself up from the floor where I was sitting and thinking and went into the shower. I washed up and brushed my teeth before walking back into the room to get dressed. Because it was a lazy day in I picked out a pair of loose shorts, a baggy T-shirt and fuzzy socks. I slid in my fuzzy slippers and headed back to Gabriel's. I made sure to lock the door behind me.

I didn't have to knock because the door was slightly open so I just slid in and closed the door. I noticed that Ava had come and she was cuddled into Paul on a bean bag. When she saw me she got out of his arms and pulled me in for a hug.

"I heard the guys talking. You finally managed to shag Gabriel how was it?" She whispered into my ear.

"Mind-blowing."I replied honestly and she squealed.

"Say no more." She replied and pulled away from me and walked back into Paul's arms.

Gabriel was seating on the rug by the foot of the bed and I propped myself between his open legs and leaned back on his chest. He smelled good like green apples which meant he had just taken a shower.

"You okay. You were gone for almost an hour." He asked.

I didn't realize I had been gone that long. I guess I had been too caught up into my thoughts to realize time passing by.

"Yes I'm okay." I replied.

"Good." He said kissing my hair and putting his arms securely around me and I just melted into his embrace.

"Guys did you hear?" Vincent announced.

"What?"Nick asked.

"Don't rush me." Vincent replied.

I swear they fought like kids.

"Yeah sure take all the time you need." Nick retorted.

"Enough you guys. What did you hear Vin?" I asked ending the argument.

"Thanks Nia. I heard that they pushed the exam forward by a whole month." He said dramatically.

"What why?" I asked shocked.

"Yes it's true. Apparently some departments are behind on the syllabus and the exams have to begin all at the same time so they were given and additional month to finish up." Ava explained.

"That's bullshit." Jackson cursed.

It was bullshit. I didn't like this at all. This means we have three more months of school instead of two including the exam month.

"In spirit of having a while free month. Who's in for a night of clubbing next weekend? I'd say this weekend but we have a game and coach scolded us last time for going to practice hang over." Paul asked.

"Am in." Everyone shouted except for Gabriel so I turned to look at him.

"You not going?" I asked.

"I'm not really into parties." He replied.

"I know but I wanna go and you can't let me go alone. Who knows what a drunk Nia is capable of?" I teased poking at his possessive side.

"Don't test me." He growled and I shivered lightly at how husky his voice sounded.

I pecked his lips victoriously knowing id won.

"We're all going." I announced.

"Someone's whipped." Nick snorted.

"You're just jealous." Vincent replied to him.

"Yeah whatever." Nick grumbled turning back to the game they were playing with Jackson on the gaming console.

Minutes later there was a knock on the door and Paul and Ava being closest opened it. It was Nancy and another waitress bringing up food. It had to be two of them because the food was a lot and there were so many mouths to feed. Having slept almost half through the day Gabriel and I were starving it being three in the afternoon.

Nancy waved at me and I waved back before she left. Her eye had widened a little seeing me in Gabriel's arms before I saw her smiling and give me a thumbs up. I guess she was shocked having never seen me in a guys arms before.

Ava and Paul's served us because Gabriel refused to let me go to help out. He was acting like a cave man and I liked it.

There was burgers, brown fried chicken and cucumber with some onion dip of course. I think dating Gabriel would just make me fat.

"You just want to fatten me up don't you?" I asked Gabriel who had shifted us I was sitting opposite him with our legs intertwined, our food between us.

"I like to think of it as getting you thick." He said with a wink and took a huge bite from my chicken because I had no reply to that.

I mean what would you say if you were in my shoes?

We spent the rest of the day playing games, talking, eating, drinking and watching movies. I never thought I'd have a group like this ever because I thought i wasn't a people's person. Now thanks to Gabriel and Ava I had found my people who made me laugh and be happy and who I knew would always be by my side no matter what. And I found myself liking that feeling of actually belonging somewhere very much.
