Jungkook waits for his roommate in their room as he makes sure all the books they need for their assignment are ready. He also got some snacks for them before coming to the room just in case Taehyung feels hungry. But his blue haired roommate is not here yet. He was supposed to be here an hour ago.

He decides that he should call Taehyung and ask him about his whereabouts but just then the door of their room swings open and in walks Jungkook's roommate with a tired expression on his face.

"Hey, Kookie." Taehyung says as he drops his bag on his bed and sits down. He brings his hands to his neck and massages it a little.

"Hey, Tae. You're late again?" Jungkook asks, attentively watching the other's every action. He takes a look at Taehyung's tired face, looking for any kind of bruises. He looks at his hands and neck too. He cannot see anything. The ravenette sighs in relief since Taehyung seems okay.

"The person who was supposed to take after my shift was an hour late." Taehyung says. He then sits up straight and looks at Jungkook's bed. There are books, both their laptops and notebooks already arranged. He gets up from his bed and walks to the ravenette's, deciding to just start working on the project and take a shower later when he is done.

"Oh, I thought you bailed on me."

"I didn't. I just wanted to earn some extra money. Is it so bad?" Taehyung asks as he turns on his own laptop.

"Not at all."

"So which is the other book we're working on?" Taehyung asks curiously looking around for some other novel apart from Wuthering Heights.

"Can't we just work on 'Fifty Shades of Grey'? It would be ten times more fun." Jungkook says. Taehyung's eyes widen before looks away. "I thought you knew the meaning of the word 'classic'." Taehyung says rolling his eyes. The ravenette just laughs and scoots closer to Taehyung.

He brings his hands to Taehyung's faces and squishes his cheeks. "Oh God, Tae you're so cute and so easy to irritate." This sentence makes Taehyung's cheeks turn red. He pouts, "Do you like making fun of me that much?"

"It might be one of my kinks." Jungkook says, his stomach hurts from laughing so much. Taehyung rolls his eyes again. "You're so shameless."

"Only for you." Jungkook smirks when he sees Taehyung blushing harder. The blue haired boy clears his throat and tries to get rid of his shyness by changing the topic. "Have you thought of any other classic English novel?"

"No, I thought you have already figured it out." Jungkook says. Taehyung groans. "Okay, okay. How about 'The Diary of a Young Girl'?" Jungkook suggests.

"They teach that book in high school, Kookie."

"But we can argue about the political, economic and social lives of people from that era. We know how hard it was for the survival of Jewish people back then. Since everyone has learnt about Nazism and the rise of Hitler in history, it would be easy for them to connect with us." Jungkook says. Taehyung thinks for a moment and agrees.

"I'm only agreeing to this because we already know the story and we can get the work done soon." Taehyung says.

"So now let's divide the work." Taehyung says. He tells Jungkook which part he should take and on which topics he should make slides for their presentation. After coming to a mutual conclusion, they start working. The both of them do get a lot of work done about The Diary of a Young Girl within two hours because its one book the both of them have already read.

After getting bored and tired, they decide to call it a night. Taehyung stands up and stretches his sore muscles while Jungkook places the books away.

"Do you want some snacks, Tae?" Jungkook offers.

"What do we have?"

"Cookies, chocolates, Korean Fried Chicken, cup-" Jungkook starts telling him but he is cut off in the middle.

"Korean Fried chicken it is then." Taehyung squeals. Jungkook laughs at the boys and nods. "I'll just microwave it. You can change or take a shower if you want until then." The ravenette says. The blue haired boy quickly agrees and rushes to the bathroom while Jungkook goes to the shared kitchen of the dorm to heat up the food.

After a few minutes, the two boys are sitting on the floor of the balcony that is connected to their room. Two boxes of Korean Fried chicken and two cans of beers are placed between them. "You have no idea how hungry I was." Taehyung says, stuffing his mouth with chicken. Jungkook cannot help but think how cute the other boy looks.

The moonlight is the only source of light as they had turned off the lights of their room earlier. The moonlight makes Taehyung's blue hair even shinier. Taehyung looks so cute right now that Jungkook picks his phone and clicks a picture of the younger.

"Wait, did you just take of picture of me?" Taehyung asks looking at him with wide eyes. Jungkook just chuckles, "You're a cutie, Tae. I just couldn't not take a picture of you." Taehyung rolls his eyes at the remark but deep down, he is blushing.

Jungkook observes him closely and a smile forms on his face. His roommate is so gorgeous and Jungkook just wants to make him his. He wants to stay with Taehyung always but he wonders if Taehyung would ever accept him once he finds out who Jeon Jungkook really is.

"By the way, Tae, we never talked about ourselves, if you know what I mean." Jungkook says, chugging some beer down his throat.

"Well, that's kinda true." Taehyung nods his head.

"How about we get to know each other better?" Jungkook suggests. He sees Taehyung wondering for a while but then he hesitantly agrees. The blue haired boy knows that since the two of them are living together in a room, it is not possible to hide a lot about himself from his roommate, now is it?

"Okay, so when's your birthday?" Taehyung asks the first question.

"I thought you would know." Jungkook says with a teasing smile.

"Should I though?" Taehyung asks, eating more than drinking.

"Well, almost everyone in this university knows."

"Right. Your fans. I'm not one of them though, Jungkook. You see, I was just too busy trying to dodge my bullies and surviving." Taehyung sighs and closes his eyes for a second. Did he just sound mean to Jungkook? He really didn't mean to but something inside him made him panic when Jungkook suggested they should get to know each other better.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. I-"

"It's okay, Tae. I understand. Not everyone's life revolves around me." Jungkook says with a genuine smile. He doesn't look as if he is offended or something. He wishes Taehyung's life to not revolve around him either. But he is being selfish right now. Is thinking about oneself for once such a bad thing?

"And my birthday is on the 1st of September." Jungkook says. Taehyung smiles at him. "Okay, I'll remember that."

"Mine's on-"

"30th December. I know." Jungkook says after cutting off Taehyung in the middle. When he sees the blue haired boy's eyes getting wide, he knows he made a mistake. He shouldn't have said what he said. Now Taehyung would think how he knows and it will only raise suspicion in his mind.

"How do you know?" Taehyung asks.

"I once helped our class representative sort out some documents during the university fest before the summer break. That's when I saw your birthday along with many others'. Let's just say, I have a good memory." Jungkook says. Taehyung just nods, falling for Jungkook's lie. The ravenette is so pro at lying now that if he says the earth is flat, you'd be convinced. He did not lie about having a good memory though.

"Alright. Its your turn to ask a question." Taehyung says, eating the crumbs of already eaten chicken.

"Why do you do a part time job? I mean we have a lot to study here already and I know how hard it is for you to manage both work and studies." Jungkook asks and he sees the way Taehyung's face falls. His lips turn downwards and his eyes depict sadness.

Did I press the wrong buttons? Jungkook wonders.

"Not everyone is lucky enough to have their parents supporting them financially-- or in general." A lump forms in Taehyung's throat as he says that. Jungkook looks at him with worried eyes, wondering what he means but soon he gets an answer from Taehyung, "My parents disowned me when I came out as gay."

Hi my lovelies! How was this chapter? You guys have no idea what's coming up and what I have planned for this book😌

^Is it just me who thinks that Fila photoshoots are one of the best?

^I don't know who needs to hear this but BTS PAVED THE WAY! In fact even the South Korean Government knows BTS is their treasure. I'm sorry but who tf fuck are you to call them talentless?
(^no offence to my lovelies but there are a few people who need to hear this so I just said it here)

^So I talked to one of Taekook's solo stans who said that the hyung line is ugly and shouldn't be a part of BTS. Well if there's a solo stan here reading this book, they seriously need to see this. We don't need solo stans in our fandom. We're better off without them.

So I know I did rant a bit today cause I am annoyed. Some dumb people irritated me. But I'm really thankful that you, my lovelies, understand me. Most of you do so I hope you didn't mind me ranting.
