Nathan got into his apartment and shut the door behind him. He collapsed on his bed and let the flood gates open. Tears streamed down his face like someone had died and while someone had actually died, that was not the only reason for his tears.

"Nathan?"

To Borgina, it was a rare sight to see Nathan cry. He was in such high spirits before leaving the apartment that morning. She knew something terrible must have happened to make him break down like that. But what?

"Nathan, please don't cry. You can talk to me." She encouraged.

"This is it, Borgina. It's all messed up. I don't know how long I have before I'm going to fall sick. Then what? I'm just going to die? I hate it here. The government sucks, the food sucks, this apartment sucks, and everything sucks! I'd never see the sunset or feel rain drops on my skin again. Can you imagine how horrible that is? Why in the world did I survive? Can I even call this survival? I've lost Brooke..."

The flood gates opened one more time and the words that followed were too mumbled for Borgina to understand. She didn't quite get what was going on from his outburst. From her deduction, he felt he was going to die and he missed his home planet. Normally, her first reaction would be to calm him down but why did he have to mention Brooke? Wasn't it time to forget her already?
