Nathan exited his apartment to meet Nurse Reese who was waiting outside. They walked to her apartment and sat on two chairs facing her laptop.

"I did some investigations of my own and found these. They are confidential files only accessed by Colonel Ford and a few other high ranking soldiers of the colony." Nurse Reese said, clicking open a folder on her laptop. "Most of them are encrypted with a mechanism I can't override. I was hoping you could crack the encryption."

"Piece of cake." Nathan smiled.

"I'm sure." Nurse Reese replied. "This is what got me interested in the documents in the first place."

Nathan watched as she clicked open a file. It contained a map of the United States with a few marked areas. The marked areas made Nathan raise an eyebrow - the White House, the Pentagon, the Supreme Court and the Senate.

"Why are these places of interest to Colonel Ford?" He asked.

That question jolted his memory to the conversation he overheard earlier. The Colonel had said a takeover would be complete in a month.

"Wait a minute, what does this mean?"

Nathan immediately set to work on cracking the encryption on the files. One by one the folders opened, revealing a pile of evidence that was almost unbelievable.

Nathan almost slammed his head against the wall when the evidence in front of him registered in his brain. It couldn't be true. There was just no way.

Nurse Reese scanned through the files as Nathan opened them. She tapped her finger lightly against her cheek and sighed.
